My Boss My Enemy

My Boss My Enemy
Just a Play to Keep away

"Dania's."

Feeling her name on the call, Dania turned to the origin of the voice. At his disposal, the elder brother was staring intently at him.

"Abang, how come it's here?"

"Why, would you avoid it? If you get caught dating her. So it's your job, in the working hours it's cool to eat men in fancy restaurants," David said.

His eyes were reddened by the emotions already in the crown.

Dania was confused. Why suddenly his brother was angry was not clear like this.

"He's my boss in the office, Bang," said Dania trying to tell her brother about the man she was with.

"This man I told you about back then, Vid," said the man who suddenly appeared amid their tension.

"Sister Andrew" growled Dania.

He clenched his hands tightly. Surely behind David's anger there was interference by the ringleader.

A piercing sharp look, he blushed at the man who was giving a mocking look towards him.

Devan who knew nothing, could only shut up. He still did not understand the situation that dragged his name.

"Oh, so he's the one who went home that time." David's anger grew.

The man immediately pulled Devan's shirt collar, then asked him to stand up.

"How dare you meet my sister behind me. If you like my sister, why don't you see me. I told her through Dania" growled David.

Devan who was treated like that was just silent with his flat face. It was as if he was unaffected by David's anger.

"Bang, off, Bang. I can explain. Don't be like this, he's not wrong. She's...."

"Silence, Dania! Don't try to defend him" David's hardened.

"Done of misunderstanding...."

"SILENCE!" again hard.

David's voice boomed, until they became the center of attention of other visitors.

"Let me explain but let him go. You still have to work, right? I also have to go back to the office" Dania persuaded.

David took off the man's rough shirt.

"Okay, after work you and him, I wait at home," David said, pointing to Dania and Devan alternately.

"There is no rebuttal" David said when he saw his brother about to file a protest.

Dania could only nod.

"Come, we're back. The results of the meeting were already in wait for Mr. Armand."

After saying that, Devan just passed by leaving them all behind.

Dania stared intently at Andrew before leaving the place.

"Awas you, Biang Kerok," he growled in his heart.

___________

"There's something you want to explain" Devan said in a cold tone.

Dania squeezes her fingers nervously. The atmosphere of the car that was cold because of the Air Conditioner, increasingly gripping with the coldness of the man next to him.

"Sa-I ask m-sorry," Dania replied with quivering lips.

"I don't need your apology. All I need is your explanation." Devan stared intently at the girl beside him.

"S-I ask m-sorry for involving the father...."

"I told you, I don't need your forgiveness! I need your explanation" Devan jolted in a high voice, until Dania had to cover both ears.

"I'm explaining, sir. Father who nyolot electric plug cake. So, first, don't cut it," upset the girl.

She was already feeling her fear for this man.

"It started with my father's arrival when I was sick the other day. When my father caught my body about to faint. Someone saw that scene. And that guy is Andrew Winata. She thought I was alone with my dad, because she knew my boyfriend's dad. Then, he reported to my sister. My brother was furious after hearing the report. He asked the man who was with me that day to face him."

Dania paused for a moment to sigh.

"Then?" devan asked raising his eyebrows.

"You know, what's the reason I asked you to be my pretend girlfriend that night?"

Devan nodded slowly.

"Because of that man. He was showing his feelings to me. And I'm worried about all that."

"That means you subverted me" guessed the man.

Dania nodded slowly. "I'm sorry. I have no other choice."

Devan breathed a rough breath. Why was his quiet life disturbed after meeting this strange girl.

"Sir," call Dania slowly.

"Hmmm...."

"You yes, help me," Dania asked with a pleading gaze.

"No!"

"Please, Sir. Just help me one more time. Meet with my brother. You don't want this problem to drag on, do you?" persuade Dania.

Devan seemed to think for a moment, then nodded in agreement. A perfect smile spread across the girl's lips.

"This is the last one" Devan said.

"Yes, sir."

______________

And here they were, in a simple house of the house of Dania.

The girl hid behind the back of her boss. Right now, she was completely scared by her brother's anger.

"Sit down!" tell David firmly.

A gripping aura enveloped him in that living room. Dania feels like a test of courage in the most haunted place on earth, even though she is in her own home.

"What a wonder, why is his face staying flat like that. There's no fear. Roughly what made this iceberg afraid, yes," inner Dania glanced at the towering man before her.

They are both like defendants who are undergoing a trial that will be heavily sanctioned.

"What have you done to my sister?" David begins to interrogate the flat man who is with his sister.

"I didn't do anything" Devan replied calmly.

"Then, why was that time hugging him all?"

"Because I'm a reflex. At that time Dania almost fainted."

"When have you been dating?" ask David again.

Silent....

No answer came out of both of their mouths.

"We're not...."

When Dania was about to answer, she accidentally caught the image of someone eavesdropping behind a closet not far from her place.

"Awas you're a crackle," Dania's upset in her heart.

The girl holds a grudge against a man named Andrew Winata.

"It's okay, Dania." David's heavy voice distracted the girl.

"Ah, I mean there hasn't been a month. Yeah, right, Mr Devan?"

Devan immediately gave a sharp look to the girl who was beside him. Meanwhile, Dania only gave a pleading gaze for Devan to agree to it.

"Ehem...." Devan responded with a loud deheman.

"Why never tell your brother or sister-in-law?"

David squinted his eyes.

"Yes, yeah, let's be a surprise, dong...."

The young girl tried hard to cover up her nervousness. Don't let David suspect that he's lying.

"Then, why didn't he see me yesterday?"

The bullying gaze from the older sister really made Dania look like she was skinned alive. Not to mention the slow growl of the man beside her which further added to her horror.

"It feels like being between two lions fighting over prey" the girl's mind.

"Jawab, Dania" said David half-calling.

"Eh, i-iya, because he's busy. There's no time yet. Aye,'kan, Sir?"

"Hmmm...."

Dania grunted in annoyance. So expensive is his voice, to not want to answer it at all.

"Do you love my sister?" ask David to Devan.

"What the fuck is up, anyway?" serobot Dania did not accept.

"Shut up! I asked him." David glared sharply at his sister.

"But, bang...."

"I love Dania" said Devan.

Dania blinked her eyes many times, hoping she heard wrong.

"Remark again" David ordered.

"I love and love Dania."

Dania was made to gawk at hearing it, wanting to feel like she was prancing in excitement right then and there. However, his smile slowly faded as he recalled, if this was just a charade so that he could keep Andrew out of his life.

"You can go home."

"Excuse me." Devan just passed from that place.

"Sir Devan wait...."

Dania wanted to chase after her superior, but her steps stopped because of her brother's firm word.

"Dania, comein!"

"But, Bang...."

"Lake in!" david said without protesting.

Dania stomped her feet in annoyance towards her room. Shortly afterwards, the sound of the door thumping loudly.
