Episode 19: Maya Returns to School
That morning, Maya looked beautiful in a gray white uniform, her long hair braided in two as usual. His round eyes twinkled staring at Ryan's presence at his doorstep. The guy looked very handsome wearing the same uniform as him.
“We leave now yuk!”take Ryan with you while looking at the girl.
For the handsome, Maya is a simple female figure but full of charm and beauty that comes out of it is so charming. In fact, he ignored the condition of the girl's legs which according to many people walking lame because the two legs are not the same length. For her Maya is a patient and understanding girl where she asks everything about lessons. For Maya, Ryan is the perfect guy physically and mentally. His indifferent and slightly wayward attitude but behind it many virtues in the man that he did not find from other friends.
“Ma..Maya saying goodbye,”seru Maya while kissing the back of the hand of the mother who is still wearing a batik negligee motif machete barong.
“Excuse me first,Tan.”
“Be careful on the road ya!”
Mama stood at the door waving her hand to the princess's departure until Ryan's car disappeared from view.
They arrive at the school, the car door opens to the top a la scissor’s door. Some students at the school were amazed.
“Wow...Who the hell is it?”a 10th grader whose classroom is located at the very front.

The two walked in the school corridor, inviting some male students' eyes to look, some stared cynically, some laughed at the couple.
“I'm so uncomfortable,” whisper Maya in Ryan's ear.

Finally they arrived in front of the class. Some friends looked at them with happy faces, no less showing a feeling of dislike.
“Gue thought you were dead!”sindir Sandra as Maya passes in front of her desk.
Alisha seemed to stand with her mouth gaping, then stared cynically as the two headed for their respective seats. Alisha and the gang instantly gathered and whispered laughing at the couple. The three of them left the classroom to line up before entering the class.
“Basic limp chick! Caper really lo deket-deket Ryan macem jablay!”whispered the song girl as she passed the Maya table.
As the eyes of the beautiful girl in two braids were wide with shock, her heart gasped at the rude banter of Alisha who hated her so much, especially since Ryan's presence at this school.
Ika approached Maya and took her out of class.
“Welcome back to class,May! If you need a note, can borrow me yes,”message Ika with a friendly smile.
“Thank you,Ka. I guess I'll be overwhelmed huh?”
“Optimis aja,May. You're the most skilled student in this class. Surely can.”
Pak Tarno was overjoyed to see Maya's return to their class. The homeroom teacher congratulated Maya and gave the girl a series of follow-ups to take for next week. Maya takes a piece of paper from the teacher's desk and returns to her desk.
“Huuu..chop!”alisha shouts from the back table.
Maya heard it even though it was very soft. Ryan noticed Alisha's behavior with a look of dislike, then coded with his finger so that Maya did not pay attention to the bully-an song girl. Maya holds back her tears from falling, and lets her fingers write on the paper. A word capable of making himself drop,”pincang”. Never would the girl accept her fate as a cripple, but fate says otherwise. If life can choose surely Maya wants to be born from a whole family of rich, rich, luxurious house, luxury car and have legs that can walk normally.
The first subject teacher entered the class when Maya had returned the sheet to Pak Tarno. Today's Chemistry subjects are lab practicums. In a working group, the teacher included Maya in the group Alisha and the gang. Ryan watched from afar and his sensitive feelings as a half-vampire descendant made him see everything to detail when the teacher required them to pour chemicals on the list to put together in a test tube. Alisha's hand deliberately nudged sulphate acid to fall right on Maya's lap with the aim of injuring Maya's skin to blister and break.
“Bbrrp...” Within seconds Ryan arrived at the table and managed to hold the bottle of liquid from falling.
“What? Why are you suddenly here?”exclaimed Alisha with glaring eyes.
Maya who is unaware of Alisha's bad plans only stares at the two with a strange and question mark. The girl realized there was something strange and extraordinary in this cool guy. Her memory of the bloodstains on the white t shirt as she picked her up was also still in the shadows, but the girl did not dare to ask. And just now that the guy was making a very fast movement beyond the blinking speed of the human eye, Maya was just storing it in her brain memory. For him Ryan is a good man in charge no matter how strange he is, the girl still doesn't care about him.
“Gue ingetin once again!If you hurt Maya, your dealings are the same as me!”threaten Ryan in Alisha's ear that made the song girl frightened and undo her intentions.
Returning home from school, Ryan waits for Maya who is at an OSIS meeting. His instinct as a vampire says there is something wrong with the song girl. Maya said there was a voice similar to Alisha when she was held captive by two masked men whom she did not know at all. Secretly the guy noticed and recorded the license plate of Alisha's car which was said to be white from the security guard who stood guard every day.
“Ryan's..Still waiting?”a soft voice belonging to Maya shocked the cool guy.
“May..has it settled?’
“Maafin Maya yes..Make you wait a long time.”
“Nothing. Come on in,”, Ryan took Maya into his car that opened like a butterfly.
Maya puts her bag in the back seat and installs the seat belt. Ryan was getting ready to drive his car out of the school yard.
“We eat meatballs in the shops!”
“I haven't said goodbye to mama.”
“Later to guarantee a mobile phone for you call mama.”
“Indeed we want to do?”
“Gak. Just want to buy you a new phone.”
“Ah the real one?”
Maya widens her eyes until her eyeballs are perfectly round, her face becomes more cute and adorable. Ryan laughed at it.
“Totally. But promise after that we stop by where you were last held.”
“Create what?The case was in the hands of the police.”
“Ikutin me,May. It's for your own good,”sahut Ryan while gently holding Maya's right hand.
The mixed meatballs in the store are said to have stood for two centuries, it tastes very delicious and makes Ryan addicted since moving to that school. The ingredients are without preservatives and without micin, hand made by the owner of the stall.
“Nak right?”ask Ryan who still adds one more bowl of meatballs.
Maya simply nodded while gulping down the orange ice that was beside the meatball bowl.
“Well after this you can choose any phone you like.”
The two walked to the shop which was only ten steps away from the meatball stall.
“Ko..Want to find a smart phone that uses three cameras.Most good yes.”ask Ryan while sitting in front of the storefront. Maya takes a seat next to Ryan.
“Tuh..You choose just. Consider it a gift from me. Wages to be a teacher,” Ryan said as he chuckled.
Maya chose a simple mobile phone, for her it was more than enough as long as she could browse the internet and could contact her mother. The guy paid for it by swiping his debit card.
“Well now you show me your last place that night.”
Maya gives a hint and Ryan installs a google map.
Twenty-five minutes later, they reached a rather quiet place and left right was overgrown with many trees.
“About here the position I was at that time,” Maya said as she pointed at a point above solid ground that was a little bit around the corner. Ryan recorded it in the memory of a vampire, looking up the details of the structure of the land and the surrounding trees. His instincts say that something belonging to Maya is left here but he cannot do it in front of Maya and open his identity suddenly.
“Enough,May. Let me take you home. Mama must have waited.”
