My Brother's Bed Rattles

My Brother's Bed Rattles
Ayden's Statement

Ayden took Risa to the front porch of the house and sat her in a lounge chair in that place.

"Sit down."

"Just for a second, won't you, Mas?" Risa tried to convince.

"Yes, just for a second. I promise," Ayden replied.

After Risa sat on the chair, Ayden immediately followed and sat down beside the woman.

"Now what, Mas?" asked Risa who was impatient to know the topic of Ayden's conversation this time.

Ayden smiles. "Ehm, actually ...."

Risa was still staring fixedly at Ayden and waiting for the man to continue his words.

"I just wanted to ask you about your plans after this. There's no way you're gonna stay like this forever?" continued Ayden who now returned Risa's gaze so seriously.

"Like this, how, Mas? Risa looks confused.

"Do you want to plan something for your future? Um, I mean it's like this. Don't you want to plan on building a new household with someone who might be willing to accept you and Lily with their hearts wide open?" asked Ayden enthusiastically.

"Huh?" Risa gasped in shock at Ayden's question just now. "Geez, my mom!" he continued while chuckling.

"Is it not too early to talk about that? My divorce with Mas Arga has not been finalized. I had to raise a lot of money to take care of our divorce papers. Mas Arga .... I don't know, I'm not even sure he's willing to spend some money to take care of those letters" Risa replied.

Ayden smiled wryly. "But seriously, Ris. There is a man who wants to approach you. Who was willing to replace Mas Arga to be husband and father to little Lily."

Risa's face suddenly sad. "But for now I want to focus on raising Lily first, Mas. And not only that, deep down in my heart, there's still a sense of trauma to getting back home. I'm afraid! I'm afraid this is happening again" he said.

Slowly Ayden grabbed Risa's hand then stared fixedly at the woman. "What if that guy was me, Ris? Are you also afraid to go home with me?"

Risa was again shocked. He even reflexively pulled his hand from Ayden's grasp.

"I-i ...." Risa looks awkward.

"For God's sake! I'm serious, Ris. I'd love to be a part of you and little Lily. I want to be husband and father to Lily" Ayden said seriously.

"What?!" peekkik Renatta who arrived at that place. Although his position was not too close, but Ayden's speech just now sounded so clear in his ears.

Rachel raised both of her eyebrows while smiling faintly. Rachel's gaze at that time was still fixed on Ayden and Risa who were still cool in talking so seriously.

"Huh, so that's true?" Renatta is still not in the thought. "What woman do you mean that she is? At the waiter?"

"Yes, as you heard and you saw with your own eyes and head," Rachel replied steadily.

"ah! Ayden must explain this to me!" furious Renatta while wanting to approach Ayden and Risa.

However, Renatta had not had time to interfere with the moment of togetherness of Risa and Ayden, Rachel had already restrained the girl's body and pulled her firmly to return to her room.

"Eits, where are you going? Don't try to disturb them. We'd better get back to the room!" Rachel's Word.

"No! I don't want to! I need an explanation from Mas Ayden!" reject Renatta.

An interesting pull ensues and it turns out that the power of the spoiled girl is not worth the strength of Rachel who has a little of the tomboyish nature.

"Take me off, Rachel! Let me go see Mas Ayden! He has to explain everything to me" Renatta said.

"No need! After all, everything is clear" Rachel replied, indifferently.

"Akhs! Release him! You're so, so annoying" said Renatta.

Rachel pulled Renatta's body which continued to try to rebel with all her might until she managed to bring him back to the room.

Back to Risa and Ayden.

"Mas, don't make me fantasize much higher. Don't make the feeling that I've been hard-earned to bury deeply, now have to come back to the yoke. I realize how I am doing now. Ok, I wouldn't have thought twice if I were single, just like I used to. Without a doubt I will answer 'Yes' all your offers. But it's different now, Mom. I am a poor widow with one child. I'm sure Mommy Mas will never accept me. Especially if he remembers how the father's rejection of you, Mas," said Risa with her head down.

"But I'm very serious, Ris. I will discuss this matter with mommy and I'm sure, mommy will definitely accept no matter how you are right now" Ayden replied with confidence.

Risa exhaled heavily and then got up from her sitting position. "Give me time to think about it, Mom."

"But, Ris ...." Not finished Ayden spoke, Risa had already waltzed in and left.

Ayden could only resign himself and stare at the main door. "I'm not just gonna give up, Ris. I've lost you once and I don't want to lose you a second time."
