My Decision at Game School
Chapter 0 - Prologue

High School stands for High School, and the second highest level before college. In Indonesia SMA there are various designations, SMA for the public, SMK (School of Middle School) for students who are ready to work in certain fields, then finally there is MA (Madrasah Aliyah) for Muslim students who want to deepen Islamic Science without leaving the world.

Filled by children entering adolescence, looking for identity and of course filled with alay times. So many parents who tell their children – that the time of High School is the most beautiful time as well as the lyrics of the old song Obbie Messakh ‘tada the most beautiful time, time – time in school’ and this is my last time going to school.

Given that I have felt something unpleasant, it is certainly not wrong to expect when SMA can feel different. After all, for a kid my age, it's not unusual to expect anything good during High School.

Therefore, I have decided to hide the identity of my famous parents, hide the ability to play games, and only use academic skills as necessary. I hope the decision I've been thinking about gets what I want.

In these days, games are no longer seen as a bad thing. Now the game becomes a thing that is very well known by all of Indonesia. Even at this time has developed many game developers from Indonesia. This makes SMK start to open the Game department which of course focuses on being a Develepor. Referring to SMK, the Government took the initiative to all State and Private High Schools to provide lessons on the basics of programming. But not all students - students who are interested, many schools make programming lessons into a lesson of choice. So that only studied by students who are interested and of course studied with a different time to academic hours.

Several years passed, now many schools have their nickname in the eyes of the community. There are excellent schools that usually have very difficult entrance tests, schools of the rich that are certainly filled by parents of excessive possessions, and ordinary schools that are ordinary entrance tests only.

Private and Public Schools are not too much of a difference, either, there are many private schools have entrance tests that are quite difficult but the cost is not expensive and some State schools have entrance tests that are quite easy but have fees that are above the average – public schools on generally.

One of the schools known in Yogyakarta is Modern Private High School Yogyakarta. SMA who is only 10 years old has become one of the Private High School known even outside Java. Has 2 majors, namely IPA & IPS. Equipped with complete facilities but has a cost that is not too expensive and there are scholarships every year making many students who want to enroll in the school.

The main reason Modern Private High School Yogyakarta is becoming known among teenagers is several reasons. First, a group of students have won champions both in academics and even sports. Even entered the top ten in one of the E-Sport tournaments in Indonesia (between schools) and was recruited by major Indonesian teams. Second, many alumni passed the selection of the most favorite University. These two things make the school quickly famous among teenagers.

The increasing interest every year makes the school also increase graduation standards, so that they will receive students who are truly superior and competent. I was one of the students who graduated from that school. Now preparing to start three years of High School Education there.
