Morning is coming, then,
Adnan woke up from his sleep when he heard a noise from inside his bathroom. Slowly he opened his eyes and rubbed his eyes which were still blurred vision.
Adnan watched the empty room beside him lying down, his wife was no longer there and he was sure that his wife was in the bathroom.
"Darling ..." Adnan tried to call his wife, but there was no answer. All that was heard was the sound of people removing stomach contents from the bathroom.
Adnan tried to get up and succeed. He dragged his two helpless legs with great difficulty. The man struggled so hard just to put his body up in a wheelchair.
"I should be able to!" exclaimed Adnan while lifting his body by relying only on the strength of the hand. However, just now he managed to put his butt up on a wheelchair, suddenly his hand slipped from where he was holding and Adnan fell.
Brakk!!!
Arumi, who was still limp in the bathroom because she had just drained her stomach, rushed up and ran small towards her room.
"Mas Adnan?!"
Arumi quickly approached Adnan and helped her husband get up and sat him in a wheelchair.
"Mas, why wake up alone? It should be Mas Adnan waitin Arumi, let Arumi help," said Arumi with a paled face looking at Adnan.
Adnan watched his wife's pale face and it made his heart slit again. "I'm completely useless, Arumi. Look at me, now I'm just a burden to you." said Adnan with teary eyes.
Arumi crouched down in front of Adnan and looked up at her husband with a warm smile. "Don't say that, Mom. Rest assured, Mas Adnan's legs will be healed soon."
Suddenly Arumi again felt the turmoil from inside her stomach. He rushed up and ran to the bathroom and drained his stomach there again. Adnan followed Arumi and entered the bathroom. He approached Arumi and stroked his wife's back.
"Why don't I feel morning sickness? I can't stand to see you like this, Arumi. I feel more guilty" Adnan said.
After her stomach calmed down again, Arumi leaned her body against the bathroom wall while looking at Adnan's moody face.
"It's okay, Mom. I am enjoying this moment so much and it won't last long anyway. At least a few months ahead," said Arumi.
Adnan was speechless as he watched Arumi's paled face. Now the woman closed her eyes while leaning against the bathroom wall. His head was getting heavy and his stomach was completely uncompromising.
Arumi did not want to complain in the slightest because he knew if Adnan heard it, the man would definitely get worse and more desperate.
"Arumy?!" call Adnan
"Ehm," muttered Arumi who was still closing her eyes holding back the sensation of turmoil from inside her stomach.
"Are you okay?" ask Adnan worriedly.
Arumi opened her eyes and then threw a warm smile at her husband.
"I'm fine, Mas. Mas Adnan has nothing to worry about" said Arumi.
Adnan followed him from behind and noticed Arumi's condition. He was very sad, but he was helpless and did not know what he could do for his wife in such a state.
"You wait here for a second, yeah. I want to make something that can warm your stomach" said Adnan while gently stroking Arumi's head.
"No, no! Don't bother, Mom. Just take a break, let Auntie make it" said Arumi.
Adnan smiled, "It's okay, I just want to make soup and it won't make me fuss, really."
Adnan leaves Arumi in the room alone. He drove his wheelchair into the kitchen. The servant who saw him from a distance, immediately approached and intended to help him.
"It's not necessary, Bi. I can do it myself." declined Adnan.
"Oh yes, Bi. Can you help me prepare the ingredients to make the soup? I want to make soup for my wife."
"Okay, sir," said the waiter.
Adnan and the waiter immediately went to the kitchen and started their activities. Although the movement is limited, but Adnan is still agile when it comes to cooking. Only, he still needed the help of his Servant to do something that he could not do because of his limitations.
After a few minutes, finally the special soup for his beloved wife was finished and ready to be served. With the help of his servant, Adnan brought the soup to Arumi who was still weakly rolled on the bed.
"Dear, wakeup. I brought you a special soup" said Adnan, stroking Arumi's head.
"Well, that's fast!" exciting Arumi. Arumi tried to get up and lean on the back of the bed with the help of the Servant.
"Let me bribe, yes!" adnan said as he held out a spoon containing his homemade soup to Arumi.
Arumi greeted him with a crisp face. This was the first time he had tasted the cuisine that Adnan had made especially for himself. Arumi was so moved, he even shed his tears because he was happy.
"Why is the food bad?" adnan asked in a panic as he saw Arumi shed tears.
Arumi shook her head. "No, Mom, it's not that. I am happy, very happy because I can finally get a little attention from you" Arumi said as she wiped her tears.
Adnan took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. "I'm sorry, Arumi. Now I realize how stupid I am to have wasted you all this time. Just because I was obsessed with other people, I never even realized that there was someone who was so sincere in loving and loving me without expecting anything from me" Adnan said.
Arumi smiled again, she was very happy to have Adnan even though the man was not perfect anymore.
Adnan continued to feed Arumi until finally the soup ludes. Adnan was happy because his efforts were not in vain. The soup that he made lovingly finally went into Arumi's stomach.
"Thank you, Mum. Next time make Arumi another dish, yes," said Arumi with a satisfied smile.
"Of course, with pleasure" Adnan said.
