The sound of long steps echoed in the room of a foreign house.

The sounds of people talking were heard from outside the room.

Margot Evans was seen lying closed on a large bed with a thick blanket, a woman sitting in a chair near the bed with her.

''What do you want ?'', the voice of a man from the outside of the room in a firm tone.

The sound of laughter answered the man's question along with it the sound of a loud object falling.

BRAK !

''Don't be emotional ! Calm down, buddy ! I didn't mean anything, I was just trying to help you, what a friend !''

The voice of a man came from outside the room where Margot Evans lay unconscious.

''Don't make me emotional ! Tell me where he is?''

Shouted a man with a heavy voice to the other man.

''Wait for him to still be unconscious !''

''Not yet conscious !? What have you done to him ?''

''I didn't do anything to him, really !''

BRAK !

A loud sound was heard from outside the bedroom.

''Seriously ! I didn't do anything ! Believe !''

''Why did he pass out ? Did you hurt her ?''

''No, mate... Trust me !''

''Don't dodge it !''

''I'm telling you the truth, buddy ! I didn't tell you to lie ?''

''Don't call me your buddy from now on, Brandon !''

''What's my fault ?''

''You are still asking what is your fault ?''

The sound of steps back rang out loud from the outside of the bedroom.

The door opened wide and a handsome man entered the room where Margot Evans was lying unconscious.

The silver-haired man stepped quickly towards the bed then sat on the edge of the bed holding Margot Evans' severed hand.

The cold hand of Margot Evans was felt within the grasp of the hands of the handsome man who was looking at her anxiously.

''Margot Evans.'', he murmured softly.

The silver-haired man lowered his head in anguish as he looked at the state of Margot Evans who looked extremely weak.

''I've called the doctor here and he's on his way to this house'' said the stranger who entered the room.

The stranger stood some distance away from the bed where Margot Evans lay unconscious.

''How did you bring him to your house, Brandon?', said the silver-haired man.

The man named Brandon let out a long sigh while tidying up his clothes and said.

''Lee Ryder...''

It turned out that the silver-haired man was Lee Ryder who had come looking for Margot Evans.

''I called you to come here to see your woman's condition but I just found out if you don't pay too much attention to her, Lee Ryder'', Brandon said.

''What do you say !?'', said Lee Ryder with narrowed eyes.

''Frankly I tell you that I actually found your woman lying helpless in a garden with a little child asleep in her lap'', continued Brandon.

Brandon spread his arms wide and looked straight at Lee Ryder and clucked softly.

''What I said is true, isn't it ? If you don't care about him even to your own son, Lee Ryder!?' said Brandon.

Lee Ryder is silent but his eyes look furious as Brandon accuses him of never caring for Margot Evans and Aaron Lee.

''What you say is wrong, Brandon'', said Lee Ryder.

''Everything you say is not true, Brandon'', Lee Ryder said.

''Areally ?'', said Brandon. ''Then how did he get outside the building and almost get hyportemia ?''

Lee Ryder clung to it without being able to answer it and was simply stifled with regret.

''I don't know that.'' said Lee Ryder.

''Don't know ? If you see the condition at that time, you will surely regret it if I came to help him late, said Brandon.

''What's that bad!?', said Lee Ryder.

''He almost froze into a chunk of ice ! And your son was just like that when I found them in the garden gazebo!'', said Brandon.

Lee Ryder closed his eyes, and his hands clasped tightly onto Margot Evans' hand, which lay still on the large bed when he heard Brandon's explanation of Margot Evans and Aaron Lee's condition when they were both found in the park.

''I don't know.'', said Lee Ryder.

''Fortunately I found them there otherwise, maybe both of them had become statues made of ice cubes!', Brandon said.

''Sorry.., I really didn't know it happened to them.'', Lee Ryder said regretfully.

''Where were you then, Lee Ryder ? Aren't you looking for them?'' asked Brandon.

Lee Ryder is left bowed in lethargy when a man named Brandon asks him about his whereabouts that night when bad events befall Margot Evans and Aaron Lee in the park.

''Is it as important as that event that you attend until you neglect the people closest to you ?''

Brandon's words immediately hit hard to Lee Ryder who is increasingly guilty of the incident that befell Margot Evans that night.

''I knew I was guilty but I really didn't know they were outside the resort building that night, Brandon'', Lee Ryder said.

''CIH !?'', Brandon complained annoyed and then turned his face away from Lee Ryder.

Lee Ryder moved closer to Margot Evans, who was still lying unconscious.

''Then where is Aaron Lee now?'', asked Lee Ryder.

A man named Brandon then walked over while pulling a chair towards the bed and then sat down while leaning straight.

''How could you still think of your son !? I think after Catherina leaves you you will forget your responsibility to Aaron Lee.

''It's not true, I can't shirk my responsibility to Aaron Lee even though he's Catherina's biological son, Ryder said.

''Good then, that means you still have at least a conscience for your family, since your cold war with your father Won Shik Lee has not ended'', Brandon said.

The man named Brandon sighed while folding both his hands by leaning his back against the shoulder of the chair.

Brandon sat down while stomping his legs slowly.

''I am very worried about him.. What was the girl's name?', Brandon said.

Brandon asked as he glanced at Margot Evans who was still lying in silence.

''Her name is Margot Evans.., she is the adoptive daughter of the father and is now the nanny of Aaron Lee.

''You mean !? You dare to hire your own father's adopted daughter...., what was that !? Nanny Aaron Lee..!?'', said Brandon.

The expression on Brandon's face immediately turned frozen hearing Lee Ryder's reply to him about the position of the beautiful girl named Margot Evans.

''You are crazy!?'', Brandon said in surprise. ''How can you be that brave to your father's adopted daughter ?''

Brandon smiled slightly and could hardly believe what Lee Ryder had said.

''Aisshhh !? You dare to die, Lee Ryder!?', continued Brandon.

''No. ''No.., I'm not that brave.., I just had to do it.'', said Lee Ryder.

Lee Ryder is misbehaved when his best friend Brandon bumps into him with long questions about Margot Evans' true status.

''You are deliberately looking for reasons to hire him as a nanny for Aaron Lee just because you fell in love with him!?'', Brandon said.

Brandon stared intently at Lee Ryder who was trying to avoid eye contact with him.

''You lied ! And your cipher was revealed because you really wanted to get closer to the girl, didn't you!?', continued Brandon.

''What do you mean by that?'', Lee Ryder asked frantically.

''Jeez !? You dodged it !'' brandon smiled faintly. ''You are willing to lose your inheritance rights as a biological child and heir to your father's estate just because you want to pursue the love of a girl named Margot Evans!?', he continued.

Brandon has grown increasingly distrustful of what he accidentally learned about Lee Ryder's feelings for Margot Evans.

''When did you start loving her?'', Brandon asked.

Lee Ryder returned the gaze of Brandon, his best friend with an expression that showed that he really loved Margot Evans very much.

It was as if Lee Ryder wanted to convey the contents of his feelings for Margot Evans all this time to Brandon who was his best friend.

Lee Ryder then answers a question from Brandon to him about how he fell in love and became interested in Margot Evans.
