CHUCKLE
The sound of a cellphone camera snapping immediately stopped the full-bodied activity. Zaim turned to the origin of the sound, precisely outside the window of Nia's room, even though he did not hear any sound. There is a shadow of someone hiding behind a wall. Nope. Not journalists, because they know the limits of recklessness that a Zaim Alfarezi can tolerate. The sniper and the bully is definitely Ikbal. Yep!
"It's bad again."
"Jaudah move aside." Nia pushed Zaim away.
"I'm done with the ball."
"Would it be that long?"
"Not a kiss, but by the way," Zaim replied.
Nia threw away her sight. "Judah what?"
"Look at me. You're talking to me again."
Nia did not reply, but slowly returned to glare at Zaim.
Zaim tightened the circle of his hands on Nia's waist. "I'll say this once. So listen carefully, and use it forever. Clear?"
Nia still refused to answer, instead returning to throw away her gaze.
"Clear?" Zaim touched Nia's face, making her return his gaze.
"To the point at my laper."
"Clear?"
Nia sighed. "Jaudah clear yaudah cepetan want to say what!"
"Lately I've been busy because I have to go back and forth between Indonesia and Malaysia. So we can't see each other as often as before. So, please, honey, don't think of the unimportant."
"Who thinks it doesn't matter? I think based on facts. Mbah you said that I just want to scribble you doang. It's only natural that I think he doesn't like me. You also don't like me. You're macarin I'm just 'cause I joined, right? Aye right?"
Zaim breathed. "I'm businessman. I don't like losses, especially time losses. And dating takes a lot of time. So there's no way I'm just joining."
Nia was still glaring, although not as scary as before.
"I like you because there's something I'm interested in here." Zaim placed Nia's hand on his heart.
"These men can die not his heart so rich gini?" ask Nia in my heart.
"Keep about my grandfather. He just likes you. Abis met you he immediately called me and told me to spit out your marriage, ", Zaim added while tidying up Nia's messy hair. "How to say it's fucked up. So try to avoid it from now on. Hm?"
Nia did not nod, nor shook her head. But Zaim knew Nia was starting to soften.
"last. I like playing hide and seek, especially not clear didiemin. Call me, ask me directly, don't make a unilateral decision. I'm okay being bullied or hit as long as the cause is clear. So this must be the last you act rich gini. Clear?"
"You're hating me, aren't you?"
"Clear?"
"Jawab me first."
"Yes" Zaim replied.
"Isn't it?"
"Let Love not bother you anymore."
"That GPS-rich pair is also why you knew I was at the police station before the reporters?"
"Yes. Just nanyanya? So that was clear?"
Nia again pushed Zaim away, although the burly body clad in a white shirt with no sleeves did not move in the slightest. "Yaudah. Now move aside."
"I'm done with the ball."
"A lot of people want to talk about. Especially?"
"Not talking, but a kiss."
Zaim led both of Nia's hands into position before they argued, or rather before the sound of Ikbal's camera-shot was caught wet by Zaim's sharp hearing. Before all that happened the position of both hands Nia was coiled around Zaim's neck. Circling just to follow the atmosphere, the circle gets stronger along with the rhythm of their kiss that is getting faster and more excited.
"Well, the person who breaks a promise instead of apologizing is talking?"
Zaim smiled. "There was. I'm."
"Don't move?"
Zaim answered with a smile. A smile that somehow looks very seductive. Nia threw away her face when she found out Zaim was getting closer, but went straight back to Zaim as Zaim whispered, Ngadep me did I make another promise? And finally, the full-fledged kiss continued into round two and most likely continued into rounds three, four, and so on.
...•▪•▪•▪•▪•...
Ushi is seen running towards one of the best hospitals in his hometown, Penang, Malaysia. But before that Ushi had gone to the train station, because the purpose of his impromptu departure to Malaysia was to check his locker there. Ushi's anxiety can no longer be contained, really. The fact that the locker key that was mysteriously lost is enough to make Ushi nervous, now even added a new fact if most likely Nila is not Nia's biological mother.
"Or even Nia who is not Burhan's biological child is Nila? Who's Nia's son?" ask Ushi in heart. "He must know the answer."
Yeah, him. He's the one that train officials say was behind the fire at the station, Bastian. The station where Ushi was storing her past stuff had been burned. Ushi is still difficult to believe, especially if you remember only the locker is burned. Something is odd. Ushi's anxiety became more and more so. Armed with information from the train officer about the man named Bastian, Ushi immediately rushed to meet him.
"When you come in, Miss." A nurse opens the door of the patient's room to Ushi. "Mr Bastian, there's a guest for you."
"Thank you."
"If Miss Ushi needs anything can call me. Then I go first."
Ushi again thanked the sister, and then hesitated to approach Bastian's bed. It looks like Bastian is fixing his sleep pillow which is deliberately arranged as a back brace. Though previously Ushi felt excited, but when dealing directly with Bastian, Ushi suddenly became awkward. Yeah, reasonable. Ushi does not know Bastian but suddenly forces to meet.
"Please sit down, Ms. Ushi Widhiani."
"Who? Are you Indonesian? Nope-not. I mean, how do you know my name?" Ushi reflex hastened his pace.
"It turns out you came here yourself. Kirain is Zaim."
"Zaym? What does Zaim Alfarezi mean?" Ushi pulled the chair without hesitation and immediately sat down beside Bastian.
"Yes." Yeah."
"How mean? I don't understand."
"It's a long story, Mom. While eating." Bastian thrust a plate of fruits at Ushi. "Please, Ms. Ushi can ask me if I am the same."
"How do you know my name?"
"I have a job to do to check on Mom's past" Bastian replied.
"My past?"
"Rubber, Ma.
Ushi. "I really don't understand it at all."
"The son of the same mother as the late Mr. Burhan is still alive."
DEG
"I don't know if the child is a girl or a boy because in the photo is still a baby. But I'm sure it's Mom's son with the late Mr. Burhan. Because the photo of the child is in the dalem envelope with the late Mr. Burhan in the locker Mom," Bastian added.
DEG
"Maybe you don't know. But the late Pak Burhan was in Malaysia making naro envelopes in Mom's locker. But just want to return to Indonesia, the late Pak Burhan became a victim of hit-and-run. The late Mr. Burhan was in a coma and hospitalized for three months."
DEG DEG DEG
"Mom Ushi? Mama's okay? Mu–"
Silent, and strange. Because everything Bastian said could only be heard by Ushi like a hum. New facts, what else? Ushi's late ex-lover, Burhan, ever been to Malaysia and put something in his locker? Without his knowledge? Andwhat? Burhan was in a coma? When's? And then what else? His first child is still alive? Not likely. Ushi even still remembered the word-for-word that his doctor had said back then.
*FLASHBACK ON*
"Sorry, Mom, Mom's son didn't save us. I was in a condition where only one person could be saved, and Mr. Burhan decided to save me."
Ushi shook his head in response to the female doctor. "Can't be. I know Burhan. I know Burhan. Burhan couldn't have chosen me more than his son. Where's Burhan?" Ushi turned to Sena here.
"Udah run away."
"What?" Ushi turned to his father Safi, Sayfudin Qazzafi.
"He ran away with you and your son. He also asked for a billion."
Ushi shook his head again. "Can't be. I can't believe it. Burhan is not a rich man. Bu–"
I will bury this child. I will also leave ushi because from the beginning I have never loved him. He's just a spoiled, troublesome kid. I want compensation. One billion be–
Safi paused the recording of Burhan's voice. "Now do you believe?"
Ushi did not answer, only looked down, then gradually, wept bitterly.
"Your son is dead. Your poor boyfriend is also dead. Now follow the talk of the Father. Move to Malaysia if you are recovering. Start a new life there. You'll take care of everything."
*FLASHBACK OFF*
Ushi suddenly got up from the chair, then turned to stare out the window, precisely staring at the tallest building among other buildings. Right, the building belonged to Ushi's father.
"Mom, I'm okay mi–"
"Everything must have something to do with my Father" Ushi told Bastian.
"Most likely yes, ma'am."
"I'm too hurt by Burhan. I love him, even now." Ushi sat back in his chair. "And my father Walopun has proved that Burhan has betrayed me, I still can't believe he left me for money."
Bastian only listened while praising Ushi inwardly, not this woman's play, despite being treated to many painful facts, no tears spilled a drop!
"Sir Bastian, may I have a nanya?"
"Please, Mom," said Bastian.
"It's my first child, right?"
