Episode 4 - Decision

I'm like a trapped rat. What am I supposed to do?

He was still standing like a tall towering block of ice. His gaze was cold like an eagle looking at his prey. Maybe in his eyes I was just a little mouse

"I.." I ventured to answer. BUGS! BUGS! BUGS! We heard footsteps coming towards us.

"BILLY!!! BILLY!!! BILLY!!! NAWAT!!!! NAWAT!!!" a woman approached the ice block. "WATCH BILLY, NAW!!!" It turns out it was Mrs Belvana. He panicked and ran out of the hotel. His feet don't even wear shoes. "Grandfather, Billy! Your grandfather!" she cried.

"Grandfather why, Mother? Grandpa why?" turns out this Ice Beam could also panic. He tried to calm Mrs Belvana.

"Critical grandfather, Billy. We need to get to the hospital!" I see a man, I think he's Mr. Hutama, the Ice Beam's father. "Come, we'll go to the hospital!" I was about to go quietly back to the hotel, until....

"Come, Honey. We're coming too!" Papa pulled my hand.

My family and I got in Mr. Hutama's car. Mr. Hutama is in the second row with his palace. The Ice Beam was in front with the driver. My family is in the third row of these cars. I just kept quiet as my mom and dad kept babbling so that Lady Belvana could calm down. After a long journey, we finally arrived at a hospital. The hospital looks beautiful. The walls are all white, the building is multi-storey. After boarding the elevator we finally arrived at the room that was attached to the VIP room.

In the room, an old man was seen. He lay weakly on a white bed. Her hair was gray and almost bald. His body is thin dry. Respiratory aids and other medical equipment are connected to his body.

"Bill.ly....Bil...ly.." there was a soft voice coming from his mouth. "Bill.ly...Bill..ly.." The voice went on. The doctor in the room greeted us.

"Is Mr Billy here? Mr. Adi Hutama kept calling him," said the doctor.

"I'm Billy, Doctor!" The Ice Beam immediately approached Mr. Adi Hutama.

"Please approach and talk to the patient so that his condition is calmer," the doctor moved back.

"Bill.ly...Bill..ly.." call Mr. Adi Hutama.

"I'm here, Opa.." said the Ice Beam softly.

It turned out that this Ice Beam could speak softly as well. His eyes became tame. His hand seems to hold the skinny hand of Mr. Adi Hutama.

"Yes,Grandpa. Billy will get married when Grandpa is healed. Opa must take care of health."

"Now..uhuk! Huak! Billy's! Uhuk! Huak! Meni..kah..lah...huak! S..ka...rang!" said Mr. Adi Hutama constantly. I felt helplessness in all my joints when I heard those words. The Ice Beam looked at his parents.

"Uhuk! Uhuk! Yaw!" Mr. Adi Hutama coughed, he began to have difficulty breathing.

"Me..huk! Huak! Ni..kah! Huak! Billy!" Mr. Adi Hutama kept trying to speak.

"Please, the family back off first. We'll take medical action!" The doctor began to perform medical actions with the nurse who had been standing guard outside. The atmosphere outside the room was silent.

"We're marrying Billy right now!" said Mr. Hutama broke the silence of the room. He approached my father. "We've been friends for so long and close like family. I beg you to grant your daughter the blessing to marry my son Billy. I promise to take care of your daughter as much as my daughter. I will consider this as a debt for the rest of my life" said Mr. Hutama. He begged on his knees in front of Papa.

"Don't do it, brother. You have helped me a lot in difficult times. I will certainly help you, but as you know, my daughter is a living Lord's care. His decision is in his hands." Papa, Mama, Mr. Hutama, Mrs Belvana and The Ice Beam looked at me. My body is getting colder. I don't think I have the ability to stand up and answer.

"How's Qia? You agree?" Mom asked to break the silence.

"I.." things ran through my mind. My heart is pounding. They told me to make up my mind as if I was flanked by a deadlock.
