New Adventure
An unexpected meeting

Sero with the horse on his ride drove through the wind to go to the forest. The leaves of each tree fell from its trunk and rained down on Sero when the forest was entered.

Seen from his view various kinds of animals roam around and run to see him. The roofs of the trees also appear as if they are glowing thanks to the reflection of sunlight.

The bright green scene completely cooled his eyes after weeks of falling asleep. Behind it, it turns out his heart was doubtful about everything he would do.

Since the beginning of my departure, I have traveled many miles starting from the village. I could not believe that the place I was heading to was very far from the village. There was a lot of terrain that I had to go through like muddy ground, even when I was walking down an uphill road on a cliff, it turned out that there was a landslide that required me to go back and take a further detour.

I should have left early, for the sun was now beginning to sink. It's getting dark and yet I still haven't found a suitable place to rest. Until shortly afterwards I finally found a cave in the middle of the forest. The cave looked quite large, but after I traced it turned out that the cave was not too deep and it seemed like the cave had also been visited by someone. I found a fireplace with wood that is still neatly arranged and leftovers nearby.

Most likely that person was also staying at this cave, it meant that this cave was safe from monster attacks. It felt so cold and stuffy because it was so dark. After making sure the cave was safe, I tried to start a fire with the remaining wood that was still available in the cave using the equipment I brought from the village.

Several times my experiments were done patiently, and finally sparks of light appeared and the fire was lit. After that I went back out to lead my horse into the cave that I had prepared the fire.

Along with my horse, I sat comfortably watching the blazing fire. I stretched my hand towards the brightly glowing flame and felt warm on my wrist. That warm feeling slowly spread all over my body and eliminated the coldness of the night air. Only the sound of sparks I could hear, other than that there were no more.

I've never felt a moment like this before. Everything I've been through is very new to me. New places, new creatures, new experiences, and other things that are completely new. Even a fight that risked my life has really been my experience. Will one day I be a strong character like the one in the movie story. Maybe that's the silly thing I thought about.

Before he passed the time quickly, his consciousness went into a subconscious place where thoughts, feelings, hearing, sight, and other senses were involved, or people called it a dream.

The dream led him to a vast flat prairie. There was a woman dressed in white holding a red book standing far in front of her, unable to see her face as most of her face was covered by her thick hair.

Sero just stood still and watched the woman without doing anything. Suddenly his mouth moved as if he was saying something but Sero could not hear it. The existence of the woman made him curious as well as what she wanted to say. At the end, the woman gave her a sweet gentle smile, and Sero woke up from his sleep.

The bonfire had been extinguished, the sun was beginning to rise, concluding a new day had come. The short dream he had seen became a question mark for him. Is this a sign or just a dream. Without thinking about it, he immediately did not care about it for the reason that it was just a dream.

The next day has arrived. The sunlight came in and shone on me in the cave, giving me a refreshing warmth. I was surprised by the sudden loss of the horse that was supposed to be next to me. But after I looked out, I immediately felt relieved because it turned out that the horse was filling his stomach outside.

Looking at the horse that was greedily eating, my stomach started to instantly feel the tremors of hunger. Firewood has run out but I am lucky to get food in the form of dry meat ready to eat from the villagers. I took the dried meat out in my bag and ate it. It tastes a little sour sweetness with a tough texture but feels quite delicious. I slowly finished the dried meat while waiting for my horse to fill up. It only took a few minutes, and we were ready to continue our journey.

One day had passed just to head for the kingdom of Valhedi. Oris' grandfather said that to get there only takes a few hours by horse. Whether I was too slow to go during the trip or I took the wrong path so I didn't get there.

At this time I deliberately slow down my horse because the downhill road is also rocky which allows slippery to pass. From above I saw a river with very clear water flowing in the same direction as mine. After I went down the road, I stopped by and stopped by the river to drink the water, and of course also gave my horse a drink.

I drank the water with both palms. The water flows easily into my throat and refreshes it. After I noticed, it turned out that he was a man and his age seemed to be younger than mine. His clothes looked ragged full of tears and there were several wounds on his body. Fortunately the breath was still heard from his mouth and several times he had coughed, but unfortunately he was still unconscious.
