The Morning Commotion

The night full of screaming and booming sounds is now replaced with a cold morning. The sky was still dark and there was no sign of the sun.

Velskud awoke from his sleep and when he opened his eyes, he saw the area had been destroyed and Velskud also saw two men hanging on the tree with their bodies bound.

The condition of the two men looked very sad and their mouths were wrapped around a cloth. The two were none other than Yun San and Liu Hongli who had already gotten their rewards for their deeds last night.

Seeing the two poor men sleeping in such conditions, Velskud shook his head and saw a tent not far from there.

"Those three women seemed to have completely finished them off both..." Velskud sighed and went to the edge of the lake to wash his face.

Splashh!!!

Velskud washed his face and drank a little of the lake water that felt very fresh. From the surface of the lake, he could see the reflection of his face which caused some trouble.

"Should I be grateful or not?" Velskud murmured when he saw his face reflected off the surface of the lake water.

Splashh!!!

As Velskud was about to move back, he heard the sound of water splashing from behind a stone not far from him. Curious Velskud then walked over to check if it was an enemy or not.

The shocking thing happened when Velskud saw the figure of a woman who was washing herself and not wearing a thread at all.

But the fog made the body of a woman become invisible.

But it did not last long as the fog slightly disappeared and showed the woman's face.

"Que Xia?" Velskud said when he saw the face of the woman who was none other than Xia Que.

Meanwhile Xia Que who was washing his body as soon as he heard the sound of someone directly looking at the person while covering his body with a white cloth.

Xia Que's eyes instantly widened and his face flushed red as he saw Velskud who was standing pecking with blood coming out from his nose.

"D-Basic beast!!!" Xia Que shouted while releasing his technique which made a bluish energy blade and immediately shot towards Velskud at high speed.

Booom!!!

Velskud who did not have time to dodge because he was fixated on the sight before him, was immediately hit by an attack from Xia Que and bounced very far.

At high speed Velskud continued to dart until it finally stopped when it hit a large tree where Yun San and Liu Hongli were.

"Ohuk..." Velskud groaned in pain and was immediately bowed while spewing fresh blood from the attack.

On the other hand Yun San and Liu Hongli who felt the tree they were hanging from shook quite hard and made the two of them wake up.

Irritated that their sleep was only briefly interrupted, Yun San and Liu Hongli opened their eyes and looked at the bowed Velskud while spewing blood.

The eyes of Yun San and Liu Hongli widened to see the state of Velskud and thought that there was a group of people ambushing them.

"Velskud are you okay!?" Yun San asked frantically as he tried to untie the rope binding his body.

Liu Hongli also tried hard to remove the rope that bound his body and wanted to help Velskud who kept spewing blood.

Unfortunately the efforts of the two will not succeed because the rope that binds them is a high-level artifact and the more they try to escape, the more the rope will be wrapped around them.

Soon Liu Mei and Long Jingyi came out of their tents to hear Xia Que's screams and a loud bang.

While coming out of the tent, the two of them combed the area around until they finally saw Velskud who was spewing blood.

When they wanted to help Velskud, the four men saw a woman dressed in red and wearing a veil of the same color.

They could see if the woman's eyes were watery and she suddenly sat on the ground and began to cry.

Liu Mei and Long Jingyi immediately approached the woman who was Xia Que. The two then tried to incline the crying Xia Que.

"Why did you suddenly appear and cry?" Asked Liu Mei who was feeling compassion for her sahabt.

Xia Que then looked at Velskud and pointed at him saying, "Hiks! He harassed me while I was cleaning up..."

The eyes of Liu Mei and Long Jingyi instantly widened as they listened to Xia Que's words. The two did not feel that Xia Que was joking or pretending when he felt his body tremble violently.

Not only Liu Mei and Long Jingyi had their eyes widened, but Yun San and Liu Hongli too and did not expect that now Velskud was actually harassing the woman.

On the other hand Velskud who heard this wanted to give an explanation but his head now felt very dizzy after being hit by an attack from Xia Que.

The view of Velskud that had become blurry little by little returned to normal and saw a pair of legs right in front of him.

Velskud looked up and saw Yun San who had broken his tie after Xia Que's mind was shaken, causing the energy needed for the rope to disappear due to the previous incident.

"Son, now what do you want to explain?" Yun San asked in a tone that sounded ordinary, but when viewed from his expression it looked intimidating.

Looking at the question from Yun San, Velskud wiped the rest of the blood on his lips and also his nose before looking back at Yun San.

"That all did happen but it went very suddenly and only unintentionally. Believe that..."

Said Velskud who tried to defend himself in front of his teacher.

Hearing the defense from Velskud did not make Yun San just believe it, after seeing the two Velskud eyes that looked trembling and sweat began to wet his forehead.

Yun San turned around and looked towards Xia Que who was being pacified by Liu Mei as well as Long Jingyi.

"Hiks! You said it wasn't on purpose then why didn't you just go and stay there?" Xia Que chimed in the words of Velskud.

Hearing this, Yun San looked back at Velskud with a probing gaze. He then patted Velskud on the shoulder and grabbed him.

"You're causing trouble again and this time I can't help you..." Yun San said softly but could be heard by Velskud.

Yun San actually had to settle the remnants of the mess Velskud made and the cost was certainly not cheap.

But this time he really could not help his student because he was dealing with the wrong person.

Velskud smiled awkwardly and looked it was completely forced.

He cursed why he did not go before and instead stayed behind to see the scenery.
