The journey resumed until the evening before they could see the gate of Putao City which there is a queue not long enough.

Arriving in front of the gate, Yun San showed the badge he had and was immediately welcomed in by the soldiers on duty.

While passing through the main road, Yun San and the others could see if the conditions within Putao City did not reflect any attack. Life in this city tends to be as normal as any other city.

But on the other hand Velskud opened his eyes briefly and then smiled thinly, when he saw the conditions that occurred in the city of Putao before he decided to close his eyes again.

Soon they arrived at an inn and booked several rooms. Yun San and Liu Hongli then brought Velskud into one room and locked him inside.

Yun San and Liu Hongli then left Velskud to approach the three women who were waiting for them at the inn.

When Yun San and Liu Hongli had left, Velskud opened his eyes and forced off the rope that tied his wrists and legs.

Blood instantly soaked the floor of the room as Velskud's arms and legs were severed as he forcibly removed the bond.

However, the two arms and legs of Velskud were soon reconnected. Velskud then got up and took out a set of his equipment first.

A set of jet-black clothes now Velskud held in both palms of his hands. Some weapons also appear neatly arranged on the mattress for Velskud to use tonight.

"Time for play is up..." Velskud murmured while staring at the jet black clothes he was carrying.

Velskud then removed all his clothes and replaced them with sets of clothes. Then Velskud started to prepare the weapons for him to use tonight.

The mask that is in line with his clothes began to use Velskud and he also covered his head with a hood that makes the viewer turn into an assassin.

Velskud opened the window of his room and immediately darted away and appeared on the roof of the house, then saw the street that was now filled with people partying to celebrate the birth of Crown Prince Kaisarn Wei yesterday.

Before that, Velskud had hidden an aura of his that made his existence unable to be detected by everyone.

Meanwhile at the inn, Yun San, Liu Mei, Xia Que, Long Jingyi, and Liu Hongli had yet to realize about Velskud leaving.

All five are seen eating the dishes on the table calmly while discussing back about the mission that seems wrong.

On the other hand, Xia Que was seen not touching his food and looked gloomy before he felt something stuck in his chest.

The feeling changed with anxiety. Xia Que then stood up from his stool and carried a tray of food.

"Where are you going, Xia Que?" Liu Mei asked who saw Xia Que wanted to leave with a tray of food.

Xia Que did not ponder the question from Liu Mei and went towards the second floor of the place where Velskud was being held so as not to escape.

Liu Mei sighed and let Xia Que go to see Velskud. Yun San, Long Jingyi, and Liu Hongli were the ones who let Xia Que.

Upon arriving at the door of the room where Velskud was, Xia Que seemed hesitant to meet him but his feelings made Xia Que make up his resolve.

"Are you awake? I brought you dinner..." Xia Que said as he knocked on the door of Velskud's room.

Five minutes Xia Que stood there and did not hear a response from Velskud even though he knocked on his door.

Akaakkk!!!

Xia Que forcefully opened the door of the Velskud room and a direct glance combed through every corner of the room to find Velskud's whereabouts.

Until Xia Que's gaze was fixed towards the rope that was used to tie Velskud now lying on the floor with blood spots around it.

Traaangg!!!

Trays containing food immediately fell and scattered on the floor. Xia Que's gaze turned towards the clothes Velskud was wearing earlier now lying on the floor.

Xia Que grabbed the clothes and squeezed them. "Why did you run away and leave me?" Xia Que muttered while giving off a greenish aura around his body.

Yun San, Liu Mei, Long Jingyi, and Liu Hongli were seen emerging from the door of the room when they heard the sound of the food tray that Xia Que had brought down.

Their gaze then combed through every corner of the room and only saw Xia Que's figure surrounded by his aura.

Yun San who saw the greenish aura widened his eyes because he knew it was not an aura but a spiritual fire.

The spiritual fire that Yun San saw was in the top four. Yun San also had a spiritual flame, but if he fought Xia Que he would instantly lose.

Hearing this Yun San clenched his teeth and thought of a way for Xia Que not to burn Putao City with everyone inside.

"We can look for him after investigating what's going on in this town. I'm sure he'll be involved, too..." Said Yun San while coating his body with his spiritual fire as he felt the heat from the fire that Xia Que had.

The spiritual flame surrounding Xia Que's body dimmed and disappeared upon hearing the inducement from Yun San if it would be reunited later.

Xia Que glanced sharply at Yun San with eyes that turned into several colors. "If anyone gets in my way, I'll destroy whoever it is. Do you understand?"

Hearing Xia Que's intent made Yun San nod and they then gathered with the others to make a move immediately.

While Velskud who had been looking for suspicious movements from the roof of a building long enough, finally found someone who jumped from every roof of the building.

Velskud smiled faintly and muttered,

"Finally showed up, too..." Velskud stood up and prepared to chase after the suspicious person.

As he was about to dart, Velskud felt a chill from his neck and simply ignored him, then began to dart after the stranger.
