Sometimes Krystal is confused as to how this life works. Almost every day of her birthday, Krystal wishes her father had come to pick her up. That's what Mom told Mother at the parlor, Dad's coming to pick them up.

A year, two years, until seventeen years he waited. Krystal didn't matter even if she had to wait her whole life, the wait wouldn't make her die, but the wait made her wish a lot on something uncertain.

On his seventeenth birthday, the Lord answered his prayers. Dad came to pick her up, took her inside that magnificent house, very different from his rented house and the orphanage where he grew up.

Supposedly Krystal was happy, her years of waiting were finally achieved as well. But, why when he is happy, the person he loves even get a disaster.

Kai, a name he always wanted to remember.

Krystal thought, after meeting Dad she would be happier, but. The words of love that were strung together once seemed forgotten, the great fortress between them was very difficult to tear down.

Then, when the two of them resigned to that fate line. The universe is giving something unexpected. The father he considered as his real father, was no more than his parents' old best friend.

Whether he should be happy or sad, whether to be grateful or even avoid it.

"You and Kai ... Not a brother."

Krystal doesn't know what to respond to? it was like feeling the pounding of a very hard wave.trying to digest the words of Kevin's father.

"Dad's sorry" Kevin's father said again.

"What is Dad saying?"

"Sorry Krystal," still holding Krystal's hand, Kevin's father couldn't cover his tears. "I'm not your father."

Krystal's heart is melting. That tightness suddenly squeezed his chest. He even brushed off Kevin's handrails when the man wanted to touch him. "This ... What does that mean? Krystal doesn't understand me."

"You're not my son .. You're my best friend's son, his name is Ryan, and he's dead."

Krystal shifted away, her head feeling heavy. Her tears still continued to fall. It really doesn't make any sense.

"So my dad is dead?" Sluggishly.

Lord ... What should Krystal do? Why does fate play tricks on him? Who is this person in front of him? Who's father? How did all this happen?

"Sorry ... I promised your father, to think of you as my own son, to look after you and Alisa, sorry Krystal, she said, I can't keep that up when your mom needs help."

Krystal shakes in shock. "Don't be like this, it's not your fault. Not ..." He grabbed Kevin's father's two shoulders and carried him up onto the sofa. "It's all fate."

"You want to forgive me?"

Krystal's head nodded along with the melt of her tears. "Yes ... Krystal was sincere, Krystal just wanted to know about Dad. That's enough." His lips twitched as he said that.

For whatever reason, he was shocked. Krystal was disappointed, but more than that. He felt sincere, because at least, he already knew where his father was. The wait, it might have to be resolved.

"Do you know where my father's grave is?"

Kevin's father nodded. "You want to go there? I can take it."

"May," answered Krystal with a smile. Then she wiped her tears. "Kai .. does he know?"

"No, yet" Kevin's father looked at the timid-looking Krystal. "Crystal ..."

"Yes." Yeah."

"May I remain your father?"

Krystal's lips pulled wider, her hands touching Kevin's. "I should have said that ... may, I call you Father?"

"Of course, you are indeed my son. forever will be my son, if not as a biological child, maybe you want to be my daughter-in-law."

suddenly Krystal blinked, and before long his face warmed up. he moved nervously and became misbehaved.

"Oh my God, I almost hurt you, if only I hadn't read this letter, I wouldn't have known you were dating all this time." Kevin's father points towards Krystal's letter written by Kai. "It's worth the kid changing a lot."

Krystal's still tight-lipped. He put his face in. Kai ... geez, it turns out their feelings have never been wrong. They're not brothers.

"Would you like to meet Kai?" ask Kevin's dad who made Krystal raise her head. He smiled with his head. "But remember, you have to know the limits, remember that you still have to continue school."

"Ihh Dad ..." whiney Krystal shy. "Krystal won't do that."

Kevin's father chuckled as he hugged Krystal's body, taking her into a warm embrace. "Thank you Krys, thank you for being Dad's son."

Ryan, Alisa, I'll try to keep your precious gems. I will be happy for him, I promise.
