EP. 14 We are Friends

"Unbelievable, I really salute. You guys are amazing?" Praise Alex with her amazed face.

"Lex, you're here. In Cariin too," scolded one of the guys who suddenly stood in front of Alex.

"Since when have you been interested in this seminar?" continued again.

"The theme is interesting, Key note speakers are also European alumni, I became an impromptu list," Alex gave an excuse. He tried to convince his friend that he was attending the seminar for a logical reason.

The guy looked at Alex's face and felt unsure of the answer, then he turned to Rey who was still sitting next to Alex with a friendly smile and lowered his head a little as soon as he realized the man was watching him.

"This is Rey, she's an employee class kid. One major is the same as me," Alex introduces Rey to his friend. Once again Rey smiled and lowered her head for a moment as a greeting.

"Rio," the man introduced himself without extending his hand towards Rey. The look on his face suddenly became strange once Alex referred to him as an employee class kid.

"Ih, what an understatement," Rey grumbled inwardly.

A few moments later they chatted, before he left the room the man had time tos and shook Alex's hand tightly. He came out and waved to Alex without further ado to Rey. Rey's whereabouts were not considered.

Rey had gotten used to it, she also immediately ignored it. Now the view is fixed towards the podium as two of the scheduled speakers are already present in their midst.

"So it's Rio, he's an industrial engineering kid," Alex reopened the conversation as soon as the friend left. He also felt that if Rio was being indifferent to Rey, for that he hurriedly clarified so that Rey would not be offended.

After that no one spoke anymore. The host had already read out the arrangement of the event and led the attendees to pray. Then he asked one of the participants to lead the Indonesian song before the event was opened by the vice Rector 3 who was present and sat next to the keynote speaker today.

After singing the song Indonesia Raya, participants in the invite to sit back. Just then the phone in Rey's pocket shook, it seemed like a message was coming in.

Hiding his phone behind a bag, Rey reads the message. It is from Pras. A few messages were sent for him.

"Rey,"

"Where are you? I'm at the door. It's full of dalem, I don't know any of them,"

"I'm in the back, coming in through that door in front of the mango tree, huh? I'm sitting not far from the door,"

"Ok, I'm in," Pras immediately replied to the message.

Before long, the door that had been closed tightly by the committee opened slightly. Pras' head poked behind the door. Rey immediately waved her hand as Pras swept his gaze at the participant who was so dense as to find himself.

"Who?" ask Alex.

"Friends one class,"

As soon as Pras was standing in front of Rey, he was looking for a bench that was still possible to put his butt that began to pegel because of riding the ojek so that he could soon arrive at this place. All the benches were full, finally with a heavy heart Alex offered his seat.

"Here it is, Mas. Please. I can find another place" Alex stood up and invited Pras to forge his seat.

"Seriously?" ask Pras.

"Yes, so you can exchange ideas. Rey said she had not seen her friend since," he said wisely.

"You know each other, apparently,"

"Yes, while waiting for the event at the beginning we have talked a lot. Excuse me, yes!"

"Thank you, Lex" Rey said shortly before the man stepped in.

"Ok, I can still slip somewhere else. No problem," he said as he left Rey and Pras who had occupied his seat.

"It's okay that boy," muttered Pras.

'"He's a regular kid, everyone here knows him a lot. It's good that he wants to give you his stool. An understanding friend,"

"Yes, yeah"

Pras seemed to want to ask Rey something but Rey immediately put her index finger in front of her lips, gesturing Pras pepper to no longer speak. Vice Rector 3 is giving a speech, Rey is worried that their noisy voices in the back can interfere with the concentration of other participants who are listening to what is conveyed by the campus officials.
