The River Lips

Towards dhuzur Rey arrives at Dian's parents' diner. That place was to the west of the city towards the outskirts. Stores in the form of small lodges made on the edge of the river with views of the green rice fields.

These lodges belong to one of the local businessmen who rented out to merchants. No wonder there are so many menu variations here. But more dominant menu typical of South Sumatra.

Dian's parents opened a bovine rib pindang since this culinary destination was opened. Although the area is far from the hustle of the city but this place is quite a lot of visitors, especially during meal hours and weekends or holidays.

Rey meets Dian who is helping her parents. Deliver the order to the lodge where the booker wants to enjoy the dish. Since the situation was quite busy, Rey offered to help. Dian's parents do not mind, he also already knows Rey as a good friend of his daughter.

Then they can relax after the visitors finish enjoying the dish and return to work. Rey and Dian chose a place on the river lips to be more free to talk about many things.

Rustic wind and the sound of water flow made Rey's heart calm. They chose to sit under the trees and lay themselves on the large rocks.

"When Junior High I used to come here with friends. The place isn't this crowded. Usually we just throw ourselves in there and dry while enjoying the provisions we bring from home," Rey recounted the memories in this place to Dian.

"Now there are many. Refreshing is still ok. But if you want to throw yourself must go to the upstream sono region. But if to soak the feet is still ok," explained Dian

"Can it be a visitor's spectacle if the virgin's son splits here?"

They laugh together. Imagine the cuteness if what they discussed actually happened.

There are many things they discuss. Starting from the story of the problem of supervisors who are kilers during exams, activities during school holidays that have been almost two months. How much is waiting for the acceptance of the diploma.

Dian planned to continue studying on the island of Java, so in the lapse of his busy life helping parents, he still followed the guidance study for the college selection test. Rey was envious to see her best friend. His parents strongly supported his son's ambition to continue school.

"Do you still want to study in Jakarta, Rey?" ask Dian

Rey suddenly became sad. He looked straight at the river and took a deep breath.

"Looks not. Until now, my mother has not allowed it. If I want to go to college, mom says that I'm going to college here" she replied without passion.

"The college in our city is also good Rey. Don't be discouraged. Many alumni here who can be accepted into PNS and national-scale companies really," Dian entertained.

"Yes" replied Rey limp. Dian does not know if all this time her parents have arranged her marriage after school. Rey never told me anything about Aldy. To him, it was an unkind disgrace to be a public consumption.

"Rey, just a second. Mom waved her hand. Maybe someone wants to eat,"

"Yes. Sorry if I disturbed you. I'm not good with my mom" Rey feels guilty

"No. I'm glad you visited too. It's been two months since I met it feels like a bete," added Dian while patting Rey's shoulder and moving towards her mother who waved her hand.

Rey lives alone on the river. He just quietly let go of his distant view and occasionally threw pebbles around his seat towards the river. The splash of water kept him entertained. Moreover, occasionally he also found fish jumping to the surface of the water.

Not far from this place there are people who sit waiting for the fishing hook. Locals and many immigrants are fishing here. It is said that the results they get are quite a lot. Those who are loyal sit waiting for the hook occasionally shout excitedly because they managed to catch fish.

"Sir Wibie is here?" rey asked in shock when she realized there was a man walking towards her. Complete with her work uniform and high boots.

"Yes. Nganterin big boss drinking coffee," he answered briefly.

"More than far away Rey"

"That's the one with the third shop of my best friend. I used to play here, sir," Rey explained, turning her lips to Dian, who was helping her parents

Wibie just smiled faintly at Rey's very funny reaction in her opinion. The girl with a height of about 170 cm and a fairly large stature if not wearing a school uniform looks more mature than her age.

"Where will afternoon be? Same with her boyfriend?" search Wibie while looking at Rey with a seductive mimic.

"That's Aldy sir. She's not my girlfriend. The man that my mother chose to be my husband" Rey replied.

"Same as your girlfriend, Neng," Mr. Wibi's laughter made Rey feel cornered.

"Whoa. If dating, the man must ask the woman when she wants to date. Pick up the house with neat and neat clothes on the girl's parents. Not the other way around,"

Wibie frowned and looked at Rey who was still calm in her original seat. Interested in this girl's story, Wibie slams her ass next to Rey

"You look so upset" he asked again.

"You cry, Rey?" ask Wibie riled up.

"So. I laugh like this" he said cynically.

Wibie laughed out loud, finding stupidity.

"sorry. I'm not used to seeing a virgin cry. I could be accused of stealing her heart" the man joked again.

"Hem..," Rey just cleared her throat.

"So morning mother was wrathful," Rey continued the story.

"Either what Aldy reported about last night's incident. I don't know my mother more and more when it comes to dealing with that arrogant creature,"

"Aldy mean?"

"La yes. I guess I discussed who from earlier," Rey started to get annoyed. But he wants to shed his frustration.

"All night Aldy was planning to introduce me to his family. He's already booked a place in Saung Elok,"

"But I think Aldy is serious with you Rey" said Mr. Wibie.

"I'm not getting married yet. Anyway, Aldy's not the kind of guy I want, anyway,"

"Then I see, you're in tune,"

"Yes, because it's covered in a helmet,"

"Is he not as handsome as I am?" wibie Canda

Rey didn't respond to Wibie's jokes. He continued his chatter.

"Aldy is old sir. He's 28 years old. His body was fat, with thick glasses. But his physique that does not fit the standard of taste is actually not a problem for me if he is not haughty, arrogant and not gentleman,"

"Why do you call that?" ask Wibie again.

"We've known him for two years. During that time, my mother always told me to her. With the reason Aldy likes me, I consider everything to be halal for him. Almost every week I was asked to come to his store if he wanted to meet. I waited for him upstairs until he finished his job. At first we just watched TV and talked. The more days he started to dare even yesterday afternoon he wanted to****** my lips. If I serve, something will happen,"

"You've known him for two years. Because it's often both of you, I don't think it's strange not to stir up desire in a girl like you,"

"Ah, why is Mr. Wibie supporting her instead?" Rey grumbled in her heart.

"I speak according to facts. You said Aldy was an adult. She must have had a wild fantasy when it was just the two of you,"

"It's not wrong. But what pissed me off was that I felt like he had bought my pride. He never came home when he asked for a date. Or just out enjoying the beautiful night. The courtship time is just a cage in the barn, "Rey's getting upset

"Patience Rey. Take breath. You can hang if the emotion is so,"

"So why is your mother angry with you?" Wibie again. He was getting curious about the continuation of the story

"The night I died Aldy before the family event started,"

"You escaped?"

"Drew with shame, rather,"

"You mean?"

"I was so tense, scared, and so wrong to have to meet his extended family. The closer they came, the less I controlled myself. Moreover, the attitude of Aldy who took the opportunity by gluing his body. I got hotter and I ended up peeing where we had ordered. Aldy rebuked me and was so fierce in his face. I left the place even though Aldy yelled to ask me to come back. I'm pretty hurt he didn't try to catch up with me. Letting me go home alone at night,"

Wibie tries to hold back the laughter at the end of the story Rey tells. But as the girl sobbed, she became pity, not stopping herself to laugh.

Is this girl so scared of her future husband that she can piss on his pants? What an interesting romance drama to record
