Half an hour later, Koen stood guard at the door of Mr. Guus' office. The reddish-haired young man —sewhile— paced there while occasionally looking in the direction where Dasimah and his master were currently.
Until one day, Koen intended to take a drink to another room, suddenly heard the creaking of the door from behind.
"Hinyai ..." hissed the man as he turned around, hunting down the figure of Dasimah who had just come out of Mr. Guus' office.
The young woman was surprised to find Koen approaching her. He hurriedly closed the door and walked away from the direction from which the man had appeared.
"Him!" call Koen while chasing fast. "Wait for me, Nyai!"
Dasimah revolted as soon as Koen's hand managed to hold his pace. "J-don't, Koen! I beg! Release me!" said the woman slowly for fear that her voice will be heard by Mr. Guus and other residents of the house.
But Koen did not want to let go of the check. He kept holding onto Dasimah's arm with all his might and tried to calm down. "Rustig aan, Nyai! Cool out! We can talk about this calmly!' the man was convincing. He accidentally touched a small wound from Mr. Guus' cigarette smoke.
(Calm down, Nyai!)
"Aahhh, sick ... Koen!" sighed Dasimah for a moment while shaking his arm.
Koen was astonished and immediately checked what was causing the woman to grimace in pain.
"O, Heer!" the man was shocked when he saw the burn scars. "What happened to you people, Nyai? It's like being hit by fire! Who did this to you people, heh?"
(Gosh!)
Dasimah refused to answer immediately. But glancing her eyes towards the door of Mr. Guus' office was enough to tell Koen the question.
"Aahhh .. verdomme! Master Guus did this to you people, Nyai?" tanya Koen is accompanied by a reddened face hue.
(Sat!)
"No, Koen! I beg you, let me go right now, before Master Guus sees us both here!" pinta Dasimah while rebelling again about to release the man's hand checks. "I want to be alone first, Koen."
"You people should talk to me, Nyai," exclaimed Koen in a detained voice, urging Dasimah to tell him what had happened to him in Mr. Guus' office earlier. "I know what you two are doing in there, but not with that burn scar on your hand, Nyai."
This time Dasimah managed to remove the Koen check and immediately scattered, away, out, from around the room as quickly as possible.
"Him! Wait for me, Nyai!" Koen is back in pursuit. "We'll talk first, Nyai!"
Along with that, Roosje suddenly appeared from the opposite direction. Koen and Dasimah simultaneously stopped in place. The spontaneous daughter of Mr. Guus looked at the two fixedly.
"Koen? Was it?" roosje said as she frowned in astonishment. "What are you two doing here?" ask him further. This time pay attention to the condition of the clothes worn by Dasimah, semrawut. "I don't care what you two have done, but .. at least—"
Tukas Koen hastily cut off his master's son's remark, "Ah, no, Miss. It's not what Miss Roos is seeing right now. Me and Nyai Dasimah did absolutely nothing. Isn't that right, Nyai?" his question, half frightened, was on Dasimah.
The female helper in Mr. Guus's residence stammered, "Truly, N-nona Roos. We didn't do anything."
Roosje smiled cynically as she looked at Koen and Dasimah alternately. He said then, "O, wel .. It's up to you two. But ... I was looking for you guys, Dasimah."
"Miss looking for me?" Dasimah was a bit surprised. He glanced for a moment at Koen. He replied to the man and immediately lowered his gaze to avoid Roosje's eyes.
The mere princess of Master Guus pretended not to understand. He continued saying, "Yes, Dasimah. I want you guys to continue the conversation this afternoon. You people remember that, huh?"
Dasimah recalled for a moment, then replied, "My talk about .. Den Hanan means Miss Roos?"
Roosje chuckled. Subconsciously, he patted the maid's shoulder rather loudly. Sontak made Dasimah pushed a little and immediately grimaced in pain.
The man replied immediately in self-defense and of course intended to hide the truth to Roosje, regarding Mr. Guus' treatment, "Ah, of course not, Miss. Nyai Dasimah just ... just …."
"S-I'm wrong, Miss," Dasimah quickly helped explain. "It was just a small accident. He-he-he. Understandably, we are both young," he added lying and willing to humble ourselves to cover up Mr. Guus' bad behavior from his own daughter. But the little heart of the woman actually screamed bitterly and cursed all out for what she had experienced so far.
Roosje sneered. He understood, but refused to respond.
"Aahhh .. I was eager to hear a lot of you people tell me about that Hanan, Dasimah. But …." The blue-eyed girl looked at the two figures in front of her in turn, "it seems like the night is getting late and tomorrow I plan to follow Papa to the house of the Sumiarsih. So .. wel, I want you to, next time just continue the conversation, Dasimah. You people seem to need a break, huh?"
"Y-yes, Miss. Thank you," said Dasimah as he bent his body slowly while holding back the pain that hit the back area of his body.
After saying goodbye, Roosje continued to enter the house, leaving Dasimah and Koen who were still both standing. Wait until the Dutch girl is completely away from them.
"Nyai ..." call Koen after the atmosphere is felt to be safe again. "You people have to be honest with me, Nyai. What exactly had Master Guus done in the room he was the man earlier, heh?"
Dasimah did not immediately answer. The woman lowered her head deeply and began to sob slowly. "Take me to my room right now, Koen," he asked softly. "S-I feel ... very sick .. on .. aahhh!" He staggered and was immediately restrained by Koen so as not to fall down.
"Jeez, Nyai!" exclaim Koen spontaneously felt the pity of seeing Dasimah continuously grimacing. Then he intended to carry her body, but suddenly heard a roar from the figure.
"Don't press my ass, Koen! Sakiettt!" dasimah exclaimed accompanied by a small cry, while draping his arm to the neck of the man to survive.
Koen's forehead shriveled violently. He began to suspect something that made him feel sorry for the suffering of Dasimah.
"Goed verdriy! I really don't understand, what exactly has happened to you people, Nyai?" Forced Koen to hold the woman's body by bending both legs and holding her back. He hurriedly led her to a separate room, behind the area of Mr. Guus' house.
(Gosh!)
"Koen ..." said Dasimah as soon as he was laid on the bed of a hard dossier and Kumal in the room. "Please don't tell anyone anything about me, Koen? Enough of you to know about my condition here. I'm ashamed, Koen."
The reddish-haired man stroked Dasimah's hair gently.
"Hinyai .. has Mr. Guus been—"
"He's a real animal, Koen!" said the woman softly and immediately hugged tightly Koen.
"Yes, God!"
"He has treated me like a worthless animal! He has ruined me! Destroying me! Even …."
"Stt …." Koen quickly reminded Dasimah not to continue his words. "Later the two of us talk in a safer place, Nyai," he whispered cautiously. "Here ..everything is very dangerous. Especially with regard to Lord Guus. You know what I mean, don't you?"
Dasimah nodded between her sobs. "Let me go away from here, Koen. I feel like I've been so insignificant living here" she asked.
Koen pulled the woman's body to release his embrace. Then look at it fully. "I promise, one day I will take you away from here, Nyai. Stay away from Lord Guus that fucker!" he said, pointing towards the residence of Mr. Guus Van Der Kruk with a fiery attitude. "Now .. you people rest. Tomorrow, all of you go outside, we go to the village medicine hall."
Dasimah nodded slowly while rubbing the tears.
Just as the man was about to leave, the woman called out, "Koen …."
"There's more, Nyai? Is there anything I can do for you?" ask the red-haired man as he approaches.
With a bitter look, Dasimah asked, "Can't you accompany me for the night, Koen?"
Koen was confused. "But if I'm here, Gert will look around. We don't want to, it's all going to be messed up" he said calmly. "You people calm down, Nyai, I'll keep watch around here. How, heh?"
Although still feeling heavy left behind, Dasimah had to nod as well. Finally he let go of the man, out of his room. After that, there was a thin smile on Koen's lips while nodding meaningfully.
"He-he-he …."
