Chapter 26: Forgive me!

Arriving at Lisa's father's house, Morgan Savior, they enter the terrace. The waiter is shocked by their young Miss's arrival as it has been years since Lisa has not come home. They were welcome in and there was already welcomed by Morgan. Morgan smiled slightly with his daughter's return home. Again Lisa just looked at him flat because it felt not a child of him. 

"Lisa, you're finally home too" Morgan said. 

When Morgan was about to hug, Lisa avoided it first.  Lisa did not deserve the welcome from her own father. Morgan understood because he had previously expelled Lisa for her good name. Morgan sees Zico next to Lisa. 

"Mr Zico Abraham?" 

"Can we sit down?" ask Zico.

Morgan invited them to sit on a soft golden chair. Zico didn't want to say anything more immediately what he wanted to say. 

"I'm sorry if my arrival this time is sudden but there are important things that I have to tell you. I want to marry Lisa soon." 

Lisa and Morgan were shocked, Lisa did not think that Zico would say that in front of her father. His tongue seemed to be a mute and could not answer Zico's words. Morgan was no less surprised, Zico was a prominent person in the city next door suddenly proposed to his daughter. 

"Mr Zico, you must be kidding me. Lisa's just a kid who's gonna trouble you let alone have her...." 

"Isn't that not Lisa's fault? You as the father alone with the heart to make Lisa as a cover of disgrace and diversion of issues. Do you deserve to be called a father?" 

Morgan was silent when he was cornered by Zico. Yes, he was a cowardly father who sacrificed his daughter for his own sake. Lisa squeezed her thighs as if harboring resentment. Her father did not say sorry to her and instead made her look even worse. 

"Agree or disagree I will still marry Lisa because she is already pregnant with my child. Lisa is not as low as you might think. Lisa is my private secretary and she's two years in a row got the title of best employee in our company. This proves Lisa is superior to her sister who only capitalizes on her father's support" said Zico. 

"Aleana, apologize to your sister! He's innocent." 

Aleana was surprised by her father who suddenly defended Lisa, of course she did not want to apologize. 

"Lea! Apologize!" snapped Morgan. 

Aleana was shocked by her father's scolding. He stared hard at Lisa and immediately left from there. Morgan let out a long sigh, he apologized with his daughter's disrespectful attitude in front of them. Zico only smiled wryly as he gave the file to Morgan. Morgan opened it which contained a letter of cancellation of cooperation between their cities. 

"Mr Zico, what do you mean? Your mother has promised to continue this cooperation" Morgan said. 

"I can cancel it if you don't approve of us" Zico threatened. 

Morgan stared at Lisa's face which was not looking at her at all. Is that what Lisa hated her father? Morgan misses Lisa a lot and wants to apologize but unfortunately her pride will fall in front of her own daughter. Yeah, the sense of prestige beats it all. 

"Lisa, why are you just quiet? Say hello to dad, no. Is that what you're marrying dad?" ask Morgan with watery eyes. 

"Didn't you not want me? Father slandered me and drove me out of this city. Bad father and only love your second child that's all," said Lisa. 

"Lisa, it's not so. I love you too. Sorry if I kicked you out. In the dawn of my heart I am very sorry. You are still my first child I love. I'm sorry I dumped you. I'm so sorry" Morgan said in tears.
