Chapter 7: Come Back
The Zico office.
The door of the room opened, Zico reflexively looked towards the door. But he was disappointed because the one who came was not Lisa but Violet, his former lover who suddenly reappeared after being caught cheating with another man in front of himself. Zico refocused on his laptop screen, he didn't care about the purple-haired woman. Violet is the son of a conglomerate moreover she is an only child. All his wishes must be fulfilled including breaking Zico's heart back.
"Sister, I brought food. It's my own cooking" said Violet.
Zico remained unconcerned, he was engrossed in staring at the laptop screen without even glancing at it. Violet did not give up, she approached Zico and prepared to feed Zico the food. Zico brushed it off until the food fell on his desk. Violet quickly wiped away the tissue, she panicked if Zico was so angry with her.
"Sorry, I'll call the janitor" Violet said as she tried to clean up on her own.
"You get out of here! I'm busy and you're shameless about coming here after sleeping with another man" Zico said.
Violet was very surprised by Zico's words, she approached him then hugged from behind. Violet apologized profusely and avoided sleeping with the man. Zico stood up while confirming his suit. Once betrayed he will not easily believe it. Violet looked at him with a pity, was there no chance for her even once?
"Sister, I'm really sorry for the incident but in the depths of my heart only you are the one I love. Our parents even know what our relationship is like" said Violet.
Zico looked at him flatly. "Do they know you're sleeping with someone else?"
Violet's mouth choked, she was speechless. The problem is that both of their parents do not know and even Zico is still silent about it. He only asks Violet to stay away from him but the woman persists in persuading Zico to return to her again. At the same time, the door opened. Zico's eyes sparkled when he saw Lisa's figure at last coming too but not wearing work clothes. Jack was behind Lisa, he bowed respectfully to Zico.
"Hey geeky, haven't you been fired? Why come here?" ask Violet.
"Your love told me to come here" Lisa replied flatly.
Violet approached Zico and immediately clasped her hand, Zico took advantage of this opportunity to see Lisa's jealousy if she was having a romance with Violet. Zico's hand was embracing Violet, she whispered something to Violet's ear. Lisa just stared at them flatly, she had already seen the couple doing strange things in front of her.
"Go! Before I spread your rot to my mother or your mother" Zico whispered to Violet.
Violet's eyes widened. Zico then kissed his forehead and let go of his embrace. Violet's body trembled while Zico's fingers rubbed her hair. Zico's eyes glanced at Lisa who was looking at him normally, in the heart of the man was very upset because Lisa was not jealous. Zico let out a rude sigh, he coded Jack to force Violet out of her room. Jack forces Violet to come out, the woman reluctantly and hugs Zico tightly.
"I'm not leaving here" said Violet.
Zico pushed him, he smiled sweetly at the woman. "Go out first, baby." Zico deliberately emphasizes affection for Violet to make Lisa uncomfortable or jealous but Lisa is just plain ordinary.
Jack pulled Violet out and after the purple haired woman came out there were only Lisa and Zico there. Zico returned to his chair, he saw Lisa's bad looks, she wore a leather jacket and white shoes. Zico was really very interested in him.
"What did Mr Zico call me to come here?" ask Lisa.
"I regret your reaction to being fired. Why don't you beg me to get back to work here?" zico really offended Lisa.
"Wait on! I'm just kidding, why are you so sensi today when it's not usually like this?" ask Zico.
"Because I'm no longer your subordinate," Lisa replied lightly.
Zico stood up, he approached Lisa. Zico's eyes see Lisa's appearance is so cool, Zico really likes women who are cool like this rather than sexy who like to show his body shape.
"Lisa, I just want you to work back here. Yesterday I was just emotional because you rejected me without giving me a chance."
Lisa then sat on the sofa and raised one leg on the table, and this time she did it in front of Zico so that the man was upset with her. Zico is not upset and is even more interested. He sat down in front of Lisa while leaning down.
"Mr Zico, I'm thirsty. Can I have a drink?"
Zico calls Jack, and the man comes and sees Lisa's feet on the table. If there wasn't Zico in there, Jack would have broken that brash leg.
"What's up, mister?"
"Lisa asked for a drink, please give her the best drink!"
Jack immediately looked at Lisa, Lisa did not touch him. Jack nodded in understanding, when he was about to step out suddenly Lisa wanted to drink water only. Jack stopped, he took the water that was already available in Zico's room. After that Lisa immediately drank it and lowered her feet from the table.
"Have you? Now please have 3 people come here!" zico told Jack.
Jack nodded, he quickly walked out while Lisa was still astonished. Who called Zico to come here? What will that cunning man do again? Not long after, the three female employees arrived. They are friends of Lisa, although Lisa is hated by other employees but not for the three of them. For them, Lisa is a very good person and often even longs.
"Why did you call them here?" ask Lisa.
"Go back to work here or are they fired right now?"
Again a threat posed by Zico. Lisa was again cornered, she looked at her three friends who were heartbreaking to tell her to follow what the master said. Lisa knows their background. Those from middle to lower families and become the backbone of the family, if they are fired then Zico will blacklist them including in other companies as well.
"What's wrong? Why is it confused like that?" ask Zico.
"If you want to fire me, go ahead but don't bring the people closest to me" Lisa replied.
Zico smiled slightly. "Lisa, I just want you to go back to this company and I'll double your penalty."
Lisa saw the faces of her three friends that seemed to hang fate on her.
