PRINCESS SOPHIA

PRINCESS SOPHIA
Determinedly

The sun was shining brightly today, Sophia's eyes focused forward for the lesson she was about to receive. Yeah, Peter always taught him to ride. Sophia not only studied herbalism and healing, but also learned physical skills that she never did at court, not only did Sophia also begin to learn archery, he filled his day with useful activities hoping that someday, all his knowledge would be useful.

Sophia and Peter went to the vast field around the castle to practice horse riding. Under the vast horizon, Sophia felt immeasurable freedom.Peter patiently guided and taught her.

"The position of your body should be balanced, Sophia. Don't get too tense, let the horse feel you" Peter said, giving instructions to Sophia, who was on the horse named Lily.

Lily is a stout white horse, this horse is a birthday gift from Peter, Sophia has never celebrated a birthday with luxury again since exiled, only those closest to you remember and celebrate.

Peter, with his riding skills and experience, continues to help Sophia control Lily with great care.

"Remember Sophia, the key to controlling a horse is to gently give directions and understand their body language.!" Once again Peter kept reminding Sophia.

The girl simply nodded and tried to focus on holding the horse's control rope trying to follow Peter's guidance closely.

"Let's Lily, we can do it, please be nice to me!" Sophia Tekad.

Lily is a horse that is always calm and easy to manage by Sophia. The two of them formed a strong bond, like a friend who could understand each other.

The two of them continued their journey across the vast prairie. Peter gave instructions on how to walk along contoured land, cross small rivers, and control the pace of horses on various terrains.

Not feeling dusk was already on the western horizon, emitting its warm light when Sophia and Peter returned to the castle after a riding session, for a moment they observed the twilight light that painted the sky in orange and red.

"Tomorrow, I must return there is a responsibility that awaits there."Peter with a disappointed feeling.

Sophia, despite knowing that Peter's arrival was only temporary, still felt sad. "I'll miss you here, Peter. Thank you for always taking the time to visit me."

Peter nodded understandingly, feeling how heavy this departure was for Sophia. He grabbed Sophia's hand gently, trying to give her unspoken support.

"Sophia, I promise I'll come back."Peter said warmly.

Sophia smiled, trying to hide the sense of loss in her eyes. The two of them walked towards the castle, accompanied by the twilight sky that faded into the night.

That night, they gathered in the castle's dining room. The atmosphere was full of laughter and stories, besides Lady Marie had prepared various dishes for them, like a mother preparing a meal for her children.

This time he cooked up the luxury dishes commonly available in the kingdom to make Sophia happy, including roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, and dishes such as coronation chicken served in royal special occasions.

Yorkshire pudding is actually a grilled meat companion, especially roast beef. This is a dough similar to pancake or crepe dough that is then baked in the oven until it expands and is golden in color. Yorkshire pudding has a crisp exterior and a soft inside. Despite the name pudding, it is more similar to to toast and is usually served to soak up sauce and grilled meat juice.

Sophia recalled her father her thoughts drifting into the past, recalling the figure of her father whom she had not seen for a long time. He decided to make a healing potion for his ailing father besides that he wanted to practice the knowledge he had learned. He chose camomile, a flower known for its healing and calming properties.

Chamomile, is a plant with small white or yellow flowers similar to small sunflowers. Usually, chamomile is used in the form of tea or essential oils for a sedative effect.

After gathering the necessary ingredients, Sophia carefully cooked the healing potion. First he put 1-2 teaspoons of dried chamomile flowers in boiling water. Usually, one cup of water is the right amount for one serving of chamomile tea. But he made a lot of stock for his father.

after that he let the chamomile soak in hot water for about 5-10 minutes. Then he distilled the flower from the tea, and finished, honey or lemon can be added depending on his father's preference.

When the potion was ready, Sophia moved it into a beautiful little glass bottle. The bottle seemed to be a container for his unspoken hope. Sophia felt that her love and prayers were contained in every drop of the potion she produced.

He decided to leave the potion to Peter who was coming home soon.

"I'll take this potion with care, please,. May King Erick recover quickly after drinking this." Peter picked up a few bags containing a small bottle.

"Thank you, Peter. It's not just for my father, but for you."Sophia replied gently.

Peter smiled sincerely, pleased to be able to help Sophia. He wanted the King to know that his daughter was not worthy of exile, his daughter had already turned into a great girl. And changed her mind to return Sophia.

As dawn breaks, Sophia and Lady Marie gather in the castle grounds to deliver Peter's departure. Lady Marie added her gratitude for Peter who always accompanied Sophia.

"May your every move be blessed, Peter." Lady Marie prayed.

Peter finally drives his horse. The sky above her stretched blue, and the wind whispered along the way to Fullmoon's palace as she became more determined to be able to bring Sophia home to the palace,

I can't just leave Sophia. Fullmoon Palace is his home, and I have to help him get back. His determination in heart.

The journey to Fullmoon Palace took almost a full day, crossing the winding path, which was fringed by a large tree.

Peter contemplates his plan to talk to King Erick. Her desire to help Sophia to return to the palace was burning within her. However, she realizes that this step must be taken with caution, especially given the ever-suspicious presence of Queen Evelyn.
