PRINCESS SOPHIA

PRINCESS SOPHIA
The Queen

The darkness of the night adorned Fullmoon's palace, the soft footsteps of Queen Evelyn echoed in the desolate hallways. In his hand, he brought King Erick's favorite cup of tea made by him. Finally he arrived at the King's room with a gentle face and a sweet smile.

The king's room was filled with the fragrant aroma of teasing tea. King Erick was lying on his bed, the glare of his exhausted eyes mirroring his helpless state. Queen Evelyn entered the room with elegant steps.

"Your Majesty I brought your favorite tea. May this restore your strength." He spoke softly and sat on the king's bed.

King Erick, who was lying down with a weak body, tried to give a small smile as a sign of gratitude. However, his eyes hinted that the burden he was carrying was far greater than it seemed.

"Thank you dear. You're always present in my difficult moments." Reply to the King with a hoarse voice.

Evelyn smiled as she re-justified the blanket around King Erick's body, looking like a very devoted wife. However, behind her sweet smile, was a picture of the secret she was hiding.

"Darling, I want to tell you that no one can enter here without my permission. I'm afraid your health will get worse if it gets disturbed." he said anxiously.

King Erick nodded, as if accepting the restriction. But, behind her gaze attached to Evelyn, there was a sense of uncertainty emerging.

"I trust you completely, dear. Whatever you do, I'm sure it's for the good of the kingdom." The king answered, holding Evelyn's hand.

Evelyn clasped back, as if to make sure that everything went according to her plan. However, in the space of his heart, the flames of desire to have control were increasingly blazing.

"All will be mine. King Erick has trusted me so much, and I will control the power of his throne. He thought in his heart."

King Erick tasted his tea, unaware that the small cup might have had a major impact on the kingdom's destiny. Evelyn, with a smile still carved on her face, was satisfied the King always drank his homemade tea to the end.

After meeting her husband, Evelyn left the room accompanied by the silence of the night. His steps were light, but his heart was filled with increasingly complicated plans. Now he entered a room decorated with children's toys.

On a small bed, a handsome seven-year-old boy, Philip, was playing with his toys. The mother approached him with a smile that grew even more sparkling as her eyes met Philip's small eyes.

"Philip, my dear, how was your day?" Call her softly.

Philip raised his head, his bright green eyes glaring behind his soft blond hair. Her little smile expanded when she saw her mother.

"Today was so much fun, Mama. I play with the soldiers in the palace." Answer the boy cheerfully.

Evelyn stroked Philip's soft blonde hair, giving it a touch of affection as a caring mother."Philip son, listen to Mama!"

Philip looked at his mother curiously, realizing that this chatter might be more serious than usual.

"You know, baby, that someday you'll lead this kingdom?" Smooth ask.

Philip nodded, as if he had understood the concept. He realized that he was not an ordinary child, a lot of responsibility that he shouldered.

"What should I do, Mama?"

Evelyn smiled, trying to arrange words carefully so that Philip understood to be able to design his future.

"You have a lot to learn, honey. Become like your father, King Erick. You will be his successor and guard this kingdom by your own power." Evidently.

Philip listened carefully, digesting every word of his mother. His curiosity grew, and in his eyes there was an ambition that his mother had inherited.

Philip looked at his mother fixedly."I'll do it, Mama. I will be a great king!" Determination of the boy.

Evelyn smiled full of satisfaction, as if looking at the reflection of herself in her son's little eyes."That's what you're hoping, baby, we're gonna rule this throne."

Philip, unaware, had been confronted with his fate, and Evelyn the mother was the mastermind of the plot, now guiding her son to the heights of power she desired.

As Evelyn was chatting with her son a gentle knock was heard on the door of her room. Peter, with great respect, asked permission to see King Erick. Although royal etiquette was supposed to allow her, Peter's presence seemed to catch Evelyn's attention.

"Excuse me, Your Honor. I would like to ask permission to meet with King Erick. I brought a potion from Princess Sophia for her recovery." Peter said politely.

Evelyn was troubled by the sight of her eyes piercing towards Peter, and her expression turned cold let alone hearing Sophia's words.

"King Erick can't be bothered! I won't let you!" Evelyn said sharply.

"I just want to help, Your Majesty. This potion might help King Erick get well soon." Peter continued to try humbly.

Evelyn, however, swiftly took the bottle of potion from Peter's hand and violently threw it on the floor. The contents of the bottle were spilled, broken scattered.

"Nobody, including you, is allowed to disturb King Erick. You dare to break my orders?" His impact.

Peter, although disappointed, kept his calm. His heart was full of anger."I just want to help, Your Majesty, Princess Sophia is very concerned about King Erick's health."

"No need to worry. King Erick is under my care. And I'm sure he doesn't need any interference from someone like him." Answer Evelyn cyn.

Peter tried to hold back his disappointment, but his eyes implied an increasingly strong determination."The Princess cares for the king, so do I. If the Queen doesn't allow me to see her, maybe the Princess will feel sad."

Lady Evelyn, without a doubt, rejected Peter's offer in a high tone."Just go! I don't want to hear your babble!" Sharp speech.

Peter finally nodded and walked out of the room. Evelyn, refocusing on her plan, must make everyone realize that those in this kingdom must submit to her will.

Meanwhile, outside the door, Peter thought of the next steps to be taken to carry out his good will, which was now further inhibited by the shadow of ambition that grew within the Queen.

Evelyn continued to pass by in the deserted corridor. Her previously sweet smiling face had now become solemn, filled with deep thought. His growing ambition uncontrollably raged in his mind, there were many steps that needed to be taken to maintain his power.

Sophia must be eliminated. Although he was far from the palace, his shadow was still a threat. I have to make sure that no one interferes with my plans. His determination in heart.

In her worry, Evelyn's steps became hasty, as if Sophia's shadow had chased after her. He devised drama-filled scenarios to permanently remove Sophia, so that nothing could shake her throne.

Do I have to involve King Erick in this? Sophia cannot return.

Amidst his uncertainty and worry, he felt that success depended on how he could cover any loopholes that might threaten his position. Although Sophia was in the distant Northern castle, the fear of her resurrection still loomed over her mind like an approaching storm.

I can't let my guard down. Everything has to go according to plan. Sophia can't be an obstacle anymore. Mumbled again.
