PRINCESS SOPHIA

PRINCESS SOPHIA
Judge

When the judge's decision announced that Sophia was guilty and sentenced to death, silence penetrated the entire courtroom. Disappointment and despair are clearly visible on the faces of Lady Marie and Peter. Those who hope the trial will bring justice and free Sophia, must now feel the crushing blow of an unfair decision.

Lady Marie was about to collapse, and Peter, who seemed to be losing grip, tried to calm himself down amid the overwhelming disappointment. So many hopes and prayers that they instilled, were smashed to pieces by the hammer of this hostile decision.

Sophia felt as if she was plunged into the brink of an unexpected decision, it was announced that her destiny was the death sentence tomorrow morning. His heartbeat pulsed irregularly, and the world around him seemed to be spinning.

"No! It's not fair, I'm innocent!"Sluggishly. Her breathing was heavy, her life was now on the verge of the limit, Although the decision stung her existence, but Sophia did not want to give up on the wave of despair that hit her.

But something unexpected happened, Lady Marie, in the midst of an unfair trial decision steadily stepped forward. His face was pale, but his eyes lit up with courage. A bold decision that will change the course of destiny.

"His Highness the Judge with all my heart, I must confess that I have actually poisoned the King" Lady Marie said, her voice crept in silence and the decision the woman expressed left many shocked.

The judge looked at him seriously, looking for the truth behind his words. Sophia, hearing this confession, looked at Lady Marie with a shocked face, knowing that Lady Marie had not done so and was trying to save herself.

Lady Marie continued her confession in detail, explaining the reason behind her actions. He wanted to protect Sophia from unjust punishment, and this painful struggle against justice gave rise to the courage hidden within him.

"God as a witness, Princess Sophia was not involved in this. Let justice be done" continued Lady Marie, her voice soft but confident. The judge, though surprised, realized that this tough decision required further examination.

"No, Lady Marie don't do this! You're innocent."Sophia walked towards the woman.

Meanwhile Evelyn who was shocked to hear the confession immediately got up from her seat."What are you saying, Lady Marie?! You're part of this plan! They both conspired to kill my son!" Shouted Evelyn hysterically.

"He admitted to the King, must be put to death!" Again with fire.

The judge tried to control the situation, asking for order in an increasingly boisterous courtroom. But Evelyn's remarks have created a deeper gulf between the two sides.

"We need peace in this courtroom!"The judge spoke up.

Sophia, shocked and almost in disbelief, tries to rid Lady Marie of this perilous decision. "No, Lady Marie! It's my business, don't get yourself in here!" she cried, but Lady Marie only smiled gently.

"Daughter Sophia is the truth, I apologize for allowing yourself to be on this charge" Lady Marie said with unwavering determination.

Although Sophia's heart understands the reason behind Lady Marie's actions, her fear of losing the person she considers her mother has left her unrepentant, the decision taken by Lady Marie ushered her own life into this vortex.

As Sophia sees Lady Marie being guarded by the court clerk, guilt begins to slip through her mind. He realizes that Lady Marie's actions to save him no matter how noble they may be, may have unexpected consequences. How will they both face an increasingly uncertain future?

The trial was suspended temporarily to allow time for all parties to digest the impact of this shocking confession.

After a while over the chaos and delay, the judge finally returned to his seat, giving a long-awaited decision. The judge looked at the two women seriously, his face implying the severity of the decision to be taken. The atmosphere in the courtroom grew increasingly tense, and Sophia could feel the increasingly uncertain pulse of her life.

Sophia gulped, trying to hold back the wave of overwhelming feelings. That decision, like a hard blow, shook his confidence. While Lady Marie, despite being aware of the risks she faced, collapsed immediately upon hearing that, her confession was futile and did not free Sophia but instead ensnared her.

The judge continued, "Because of the objections raised and the unforeseen circumstances, the sentence that will be immediately imposed, Sophia, you are put to death tomorrow morning. Lady Marie, you're also convicted of your role in this conspiracy."

Sophia and Lady Marie are now considered criminals. Questions without answers filled Sophia's mind. Is there justice in this kingdom? Are they really going to be punished for something they never planned?

"Your Majesty, I swear on my own life that I am responsible for all this. Sophia was not involved in this plan. Please, punish me, not him."Pinta the woman firmly.

Lady Marie insisted before the judge, seeking to free Sophia from the death penalty. But even though the Judge saw the look of despair on Lady Marie's face, they remained with their firm stance.

"The evidence has been carefully calculated. Decision's been made, Lady Marie. The verdict is inviolable!" Cold answer.

Lady Marie felt disappointed and devastated, she lowered her head while trying to hold back her cries. Sophia, though in despair, remained steadfast and tried to appease Lady Marie.

"Lady Marie, I swear I'll figure out a way to change this fate." His whisper hugged the woman.

"I. I have ruined everything Princess " Isak lady marie.

Sophia and Lady Marie are forced back into the cold of the prison cell, the sound of the covered iron roar bearing silent witness to the unjust decision. Tomorrow is the day that may be the tragic journey of their end of life.

...****************...

Evelyn entered Philip's room with graceful strides, her cunning smile slipping across her face like a shadow of hidden evil. The room was silent, there was only the sound of a small fire in the fireplace and the roar of the weak breath of the King who was now lying helplessly.

Overwhelmed with arrogance, Evelyn approached her son's bed. He held Philip's hand, though,

"I'm sorry mama, son," he said in a soft voice, but rot was tucked away in every word. "It's for the good of the kingdom. There's no other choice. You've been appointed ruler, and all this is for our safety."

Philip who was still half conscious was only able to look at his mother with dim eyes. He does not realize that behind his mother's smile lies a dark desire to keep his power and extinguish any potential threats.

Evelyn continued her false smile, A tragedy will happen tomorrow, which will turn the fate of the kingdom into a deepening darkness.
