On the next morning, began to look green tops of the island which was our destination. The closer it gets, the higher the peak is from the horizon and the larger the island looks. Closer and closer, we see the city which is the heart of the Kingdom of Pangara. The kingdom was at the northernmost of the six island kingdoms.
From the map, the capital of the Kingdom of Pangara is called Panga City. It looks like the city of Panga which can be three times the size of the capital Patga which is where Jaya grew up. Then the tares of ships and boats are also seen many times more than the traffic of ships in the Kingdom of Patgara.
When starting to approach the land using the boat I made, there was a boat similar in size to our boat about 8-10 meters away. Looking at the information from the Moon Eye skill and from their appearance, it seemed like they were warriors from this kingdom. They use black trousers and there are some soldiers using sarongs lining the trousers. There were also soldiers wearing armor, but most of the soldiers on the boat were not wearing clothes. The weapons they carry are various, I can see arrows, keris, badik, and spears.
The soldiers on board gave us a code to stop. They brought the boat closer and jumped into our boat. It was seen that five soldiers led by a soldier wearing armor came towards me.
My clothes when coming to this city are also somewhat different from the usual ones that only use pants. This time I coated it with a black sheath cloth.
“Good Morning! What are your requirements to come in Pangara Kingdom?” In a firm voice the soldier asked for my needs.
“We want to sell fruits and some items like soap.”
“Soap? Where did you guys come from?”
Like I'm a blunder, soap seems to be a sensitive topic.
“We are from Patgara Kingdom, our group usually sell goods in western kingdoms.” I answered the soldier's question calmly.
“This is your first arrival here?”
“Iya.”
When I confirmed his question, he only nodded once then said.
“We will inspect your luggage.”
I agreed to the conditions they proposed and led them to the things on the boat.
Previously I put a variety of fruits that we can during the trip and items such as soap and pottery to be sold in Pangara.
Pulau Bulan has also been parked a bit far and a bit deep from Pulau Pupan which is our destination. It might take an hour if I speed by boat to get to the Moon Island. I also left some golems there as a guard.
After finishing inspecting the goods and explaining all that, the soldiers climbed back into their boat and led us to the beach. Well. see how crowded ship traffic in this city, only large ships can lean in the harbor.
At first I thought that these soldiers were going to charge at us, whether they wanted money or would take some merchandise, so they were very professional and polite.
To get into Pangara by boat, we have to pay the import duty. The entrance fee is no joke either. We had to pay 50 silver coins for the size of our boat. Indeed, as I recall even on Earth, the country will take excise or import duties on imported goods, but I do not know if the cost can be this much. Hopefully, you can return the capital when selling these items.
We got off the boat and six people got off the boat. It should be six, but only five. For some reason when we started approaching the city, Fina activated her Penetrating View skill so that it was unknown to the soldiers. While the other four people were iron golems that I disguised as human beings.
Fortunately, they were not suspicious. But it is a bit difficult to suspect, because the disguise of this iron golem is really detailed. Moreover, plus the Abdominal Sound skill that I got earlier which one of the features can make a different sound.
In total there were five iron golems coming with us to Pangara. I assigned one golem to guard the boat while the other four golems raised the items to below into the Merchant Guild building. The goods we under are not all, only partly as an introduction.
I secretly created dozens of small golems as scouts to gather information about this city. I made the golem quite small, as small as an ant on Earth. Well, hopefully it won't get caught. Even if it gets caught, I think it'll be hard to trace it all the way to me.
On the way, I noticed how busy this Panga City, the Port where the ship is leaning is very broad and dominant made of stone. In the morning, the port is very busy with people who are lifting goods here and there.
As I exited the harbor and noticed how Panga City was, about half of the buildings of this city were made of brick. In fact, in the city of Patga only a small part of the building made of brick, it was only the building of the upper class made with brick. But in this city buildings for the public such as lodging have been made of brick. From what I noticed, the brick building here uses brick powder as adhesive, not using cement.
For the appearance of the inhabitants is almost the same as the Kingdom of Patgara, most of them are brown-skinned and black-haired then among men and women are mostly long-haired. Where men mostly have their hair rolled up then in pigtails there are also those that decompose their hair. While the hairstyle of the woman is quite diverse, some are in bun, tie, and decomposed.
Her male outfit is also 11-12 with Patgara. The average one wears pants and there are some who line those pants with a holster. Most men don't wear a top. Many women use a sarong cloth that covers the chest to below the knees, some also use a glove cloth covering the hips to below the knees and return for their superiors. I also saw some women wearing scarves to cover their shoulders and heads.
I also saw many men carrying keris and weapons similar to daggers on their waists.
But not only that, there are some residents whose appearance is quite different from the inhabitants of the island kingdom. They were the inhabitants of the empire located far to the north.
Those in Pangara were mostly merchants from the empire. Most of them had fair yellow skin and the clothes they used were much different from the clothes used by the inhabitants of the island kingdom. If I had assumed maybe the clothes they used were similar to the hanfu clothes on Earth.
It is said that the empire in the north had a large, fertile flat land decorated with large rivers.
