Two years later..
Laras and Rangga have been living a domestic life for two years. They share their joy and sorrow together. Even though until now they have not been gifted offspring. Rangga remained loyal beside Laras, and vice versa.
Their marriage remained happy even though God had not left the figure of a little angel in their lives. Laras is still doing his service to her husband, so Rangga continues to carry out his duties as a faithful husband.
They currently live in Jakarta for several months. But Rangga only brought Laras home to the residence of his wife's parents. The small Laras house has been renovated Rangga to be beautiful in such a way. Although not fancy but simple, for Baras it is enough. Because they only need to quality time both.
Rangga also funded construction around the Laras housing complex. Including in his company's program in the field of property, Rangga also invites local RT devices for clean water programs.
Laras opened a small shop selling breakfast such as hodgepodge, nasi ujung and lontong. Although her husband was a rich man's son, she was not ashamed of running her small business. Even Oma Gladys often come to visit Laras's stall which is held on the terrace of his house.
"Ras, your husband is a rich man, indeed you are not ashamed of working like this." said Nindy, his neighbor.
"Why should I be ashamed, ndy, what I do is lawful. My husband also doesn't deny, for him it's important I can have activities." Answer Laras.
"Yes, for you have not been loved by the child. Try if you already have children, will not have time to make a sale, just look at Eva while bringing her child to help you. Repot right?"
"Yes, this is my partnership with Laras, ndy. The Laras period works alone while I do not say anything? it was both of us."
"Yes, Ndy, the rich man is my father-in-law. My husband still works in his stepfather's office. Not her own." Laras still explains to Nindy.
"Oooo, thats. Whatever it is, Race. If I were you, I wouldn't be tired of this kind of work. Mending me shopping, follow socialite, rather than having to sell. Why don't you look for a more luxurious home instead of coming back here. Mending you sell your mother's house, instead of living in a kayak gini."
"Fortunately Laras is not you, Ndy. He still has attitude. Not like you, having a son doesn't know his father." Omel Eva who was already upset to hear Nindy's words.
"Va, don't talk about it, ah. Pamali!" Laras defends Nindy.
"There's no fact, Race." Eva doesn't want to lose.
"You forgot, Va. Cici your son is also a girl, do not let your insult to his son Nindy happen in your family. We are women, Va, and that fellow woman should motivate each other. We never know how Nindy raised her son. I salute her, raising a child alone without a husband. There are a lot of women out there who throw their babies away. An innocent baby just because of his parents' fault."
Eva was embarrassed. He also realized that speech would be reciprocal. If we do good, there will be good things that will repay. Likewise, if you do evil, there will be a similar reply.
"No, Va, listen to that. My son did not want to be born that way either. I also don't want to get pregnant outside of marriage. But instead of me surviving with him married, I'd rather raise this kid myself." Nindy Bela.
"Ras, I'm saying goodbye, yeah. My son must have woken up. Oh, yeah, the rice was bon first, yeah. I'll pay you later."
"Eh, it's delicious!" Sergey Eva.
"Pay, first.you who just last month have not paid off, want to owe again."
"Loh, va. you said he's paid off." Laras was surprised that Nindy had not paid her debt.
"I closed it with my money, race. So he paid the same debt I did. Huh! it's been helped still give heart."
Barrel just shook his head. Before long he also cleared up some of his finished merchandise. Laras also left some mica packs to be distributed to his office OB. Especially today is Friday. People say if we do good on Friday we will get a blessing. Believing in disbelief, Baras only runs what he believes is beneficial.
Laras opened her gawai contact her husband. While Eva is still busy calculating income today. Eva's eyes glanced at Laras. A smile stares at his neighbor and his little friend.
"Yes, Va." The barrel turned its gaze towards Eva who was giving ASI to Cici.
"Ras, where are you taking the food?" ask Eva.
"You want me to share it with my husband's OB office. Why, Va you want, just take it for your mom and husband." Laras offered five boxes of hodgepodge that he had separated.
"It wasn't a week ago that you took it to your husband's office, too. Instead of going to them again, give you to mushola. Just another fucking person. Do you remember, Race? Your mother used to love handing out her homemade cookies to mushola."
"Ah, yes, Va. Why don't I think about it, yeah. But this is only 25 sir, Va. Is this enough? the ones in Mushola must have come a lot. I'm afraid it's not enough."
"Yes, you're using your husband's connections, Ras. How the hell? if he doesn't mind helping our complex let alone just donating food to the mushola."
"Yes, too, Va. I didn't think about it, did I?" Barrel scratched his non-itchy head.
Before long, Laras' communication was connected to her husband.
"Assalamualaikum, yes. I can ask you no, I'll send some food to the dead man. Home stock issues are not enough. There are many restaurants or fast food. So I can help you send a few more boxes. At least 30 more boxes."
"Relax, baby, I'll call some of my acquaintances. That's all, there's another."
"Alhamdulillah, thanks,mas. I think that's all."
"Ras, I'm on the road again, Oma wants to see you. Don't know he said these two days dream of you." Answer Rangga on the phone.
"Yeah, mum. Be careful, my mom. Don't speed, mas."
"Yes, it's a long time ago, yeah." Rangga cut off his phone network.
Rangga drove his car at a moderate speed. Recalling that he was taking Oma Gladys to see Laras at his in-laws' residence. Meanwhile Oma Gladys seemed to be sleepy. The distance of Rangga's office with the Laras residence in the Ciracas area is quite an hour. Especially with the traffic jam Jakarta, considering soon Friday prayers.
Rangga is still driving his vehicle well. Until there is an inevitable car scene. Rangga tried to turn the direction of the car to find another way, unfortunately there was one of the cars that broke through his car.
Rangga slammed the steering wheel to the left, turning the direction looking for another way to get out of the traffic jam. He had already tried to control his car but it seemed like fate was on his side. Until it turned into a roadblock.
Not only that, several passing cars also hit him. Rangga and Oma who were in it were dragged along with his car.
The front of Rangga's car was destroyed. Rangga wears a seat belt.
"Please!" Oma whose body was partially wedged by the door.
Some people who saw the crash quickly helped. Moreover, they saw the old lady asking for help. They took out Oma Gladys, while Rangga's body was drenched in blood.
Thank you for stopping by my work.
I'm sorry if there is a story that may not be as cool in your eyes as often on the homepage.
There are still many shortcomings in this writing.
