CHAPTER 1 THE CONVERTED SOUL

Oh Man Se heard a man calling a name, Byeol-ah ... Byeol .... Oh Man Se was still breathless, he tried to open his eyes but looked blurry. Oh Man Se opened his eyes wide, but what he saw shocked him and fainted again. He saw a thin-moustached man and a bearded woman before his face. The two people look worried about what happened to Oh Man Se who was called by the name Byeol. A Physician and a Servant Woman were also in the room. A room that looks different from modern times. Oh Man Se's soul is carried into the past.

Oh Man Se woke up. What he saw really astonished him. Where'sme? oh Man Se Thought. He sat down, saw a surprised woman and approached her. On the woman's face was joy.

"Agassies. Are you okay?" ask the woman.

Man Se was frightened and then moved away.

"Where am I?" ask Man Se.

"You're at Mr. Choi Ji Mong's house" the woman replied.

"Yeah!" man Se shouted in disbelief.

Man Se's thoughts turned around, remembering who Choi Ji Mong was. He recalls the history lesson. Oh Man Se gets even more scared when he remembers who Choi Ji Mong is. He was an astrologer who served King Taejo Wang-geon until the fourth King of Goryeo, Gwang Jong. Oh Man Se is more confused, how can he be carried away to Songak Goryeo era?

"Am I in Songak? Goryeo?" oh Man Se's question confirmed what he was expecting.

The woman looks worried about Oh Man Se's condition of fear and confusion. Oh Man Se got off the bed and ran out. When he came out, Oh Man Se was completely amazed by what he saw. He was actually in the past, the house looked ancient and some of the servants who passed by also wore ancient clothes. Until finally the confusion became more when there was a man and a woman with a shouldered woman came to meet him.

"Byeol-ah .. are you okay?" ask the thin mustachioed man wearing an old-fashioned shirt.

"My son, are you okay?" ask the middle-aged woman who is a cowl.

Oh Man Se is getting confused. Why is he called Byeol? Why did she call Oh Man Se with a child call?

"Who am I? Where's me?" oh Man Se asked those people.

The people around him were worried that Byeol had lost his memory.

"You're my son Choi Han Byeol. You're home, don't you remember anything?" ask the woman.

Oh Man Se felt a pain in his head that was battered by a cloth. There was blood on the cloth, meaning something happened to this girl named Byeol. Now, Oh Man Se is trapped in this girl's body. Oh Man Se was limp and almost fell down, but the man nearby immediately helped to hold his body from falling. Oh Man Se broke into the room and was laid on the bed.

"Call the Physician" the man commanded the woman who first saw Oh Man Se. Oh Man Se predicted that the woman was the servant of the Byeol family.

Shortly thereafter the Physician came to check on the condition of Oh Man Se who continued to be called Byeol. The physician advised to rest and take medicine until the wound on Byeol's head healed. The clash in his head caused Byeol to lose his memory. The physician hoped that Byeol would return his memories as time went on. The doctor left.

Oh Man Se opened his eyes. In the room there was only the sleeping servant girl lying face down on the table. His throat feels dry.

"I'm thirsty, ask for a drink" Oh Man Se said, waking the girl up.

"Agassi, how do you feel? Are you okay?" ask the girl.

Oh Man Se nodded his head after drinking the water.

"Who are you? Why do they call me by the name of Byeol?" ask Oh Man Se curiously.

"I'm Agassi's servant. You don't even remember my name? My name is Yideum. You don't remember your own father? Aduuuh Agassi, the impact on your head is really severe, even to the point of not remembering anything," said the woman named Yideum was worried and sad about what happened to her young lady.

"What happened to me, until I was like this?" ask Man Se

"You are desperate to ride a horse to the cliff on the hill there. Your horse came home alone, so we were worried something might happen to you. After the search, we found you had already fallen into a ravine with a bloody head. Your Mom and Dad are so worried about your condition. Thank goodness you're alive" explains Yideum.

Oh Man Se was just dumbfounded in disbelief at what he heard. Is this girl named Byeol actually dead? How can my soul be carried here? So what happens to me in the future? oh Man Se Thought.

Oh Man Se remembered, he cried and then came out of the building where Kang Min Hyuk was doing the wedding procession. That day he drank drunk with a broken heart. Kang Min Hyuk his lover left him. The man prefers to marry Hong Sun Hwa, the girl of Kang's family. Oh Man Se remembers when he fell from the building but suddenly a mysterious woman pulled his hand.

Oh Man Se Kang's adopted son. His two adopted brothers Kang Min Hyuk and Kang Seo Woo both love him. Although in the end Oh Man Se anchored his love for the figure of Kang Min Hyuk the main heir of the Kang Group. His love story is opposed by his adoptive father on the grounds that the death of Oh Man Se's parents is due to the irresponsible actions of Samchon Kang, the younger brother of Kang's master.

Oh Man Se in Byeol's body silently could not say anything. He doesn't know anything about life here. In this era, it is definitely not the same as Korea in the future.

"No HP, no electricity, no car, no how can I survive?" oh Man Se's thoughts were alarmed.

Oh Man Se got off his bed, then walked towards a glass made of shiny metal. His face was reflected in a metal mirror.

"Ommoo," Man Se almost shouted in shock but he held back. "This face, similar to my face," thought Oh Man Se.

Byeol's face looks like Oh Man Se's. He's not thinking. His face, his hands, his body. All similar.

"Who's Byeol? Why does he have the same face as me,? Even I am now inside his body," thought Man Se. "Magical,"

"Agassi just rest. Your face is still pale" Yideum said as he pushed Oh Man Se back to bed.

Oh Man Se obediently and returned to his bed. His eyes could not be closed, his mind was still floating everywhere. Fear, worry, surprise mixed into one.

"What can I do to get back to the future? I don't have any ideas at all. Do I have to jump off the cliff where Byeol fell for his soul to return?Aisy, too speculative, yes if I die, if nothing happens even my head will be rebounded like this. If I had to stay here, would I be able to?" Man Se's mind twitched, though,

"Alright, I better hold on as Byeol," thought Oh Man Se again trying to be more positive.

"Yaaak Oh Man Se, you are now Byeol" said Man Se in a heart of encouragement to himself. He did not feel his eyes getting heavier and then fell asleep again.
