Pariaman, a city on the land of western Sumatra, only about fifty kilos from the city of Padang. The city is the oldest Islamic teaching center on the west coast of Sumatra. In that country Mima was born, raised and educated.
Mima's late mother was a religious teacher, while her father was one of the rulers in KUA. This family has a fairly high degree in the eyes of the community, although both have died.
Mima also grew up as a smart girl, though not much talkative. Not a few who praise Mima inherited the intelligence of his parents. Though expressionless Mima actually big heads whenever anyone praises her.
Mima grew into a difficult person to socialize, his aloof tendencies make it difficult to make friends. Mima is rarely interested in new things, but if she has put more attention on something or someone, then it is not easy for her to turn away from there.
Either he was lucky or vice versa when the interest was actually there for Dheo. Men are smart, famous and good at words, both from writing and when interacting in front of many eyes, although physically Dheo only have excess height and yellow skin, according to Mima he justri there is no sweetness, but the inherent confidence as if to be charisma and charm that can make many women can be bound.
Dheo's smile isn't sweet, but there's magical energy. Because only that smile can disturb Mima's concentration.
The girl stomped her feet hard as she stepped away from Shaka who seemed to be smiling casually. Mima wants to follow Dheo's steps that are not too far away.
Unfortunately Shaka is faster than Mima's limited movement due to her narrow skirt, with Shaka swiftly pulling the end of Mima's sleeve. If Mima forced her to break away and Shaka's hand was released, she could have fallen on the floor.
“Where are you going?” shaka asked as he held back so that the cloth he was holding did not fall out of his hand.
“Lepasin, Ghoib conductor!” snapped Mima while still maintaining balance.
“You can fall, Ay. It's me just pulling the end of an arm. Shut up there or I hug,” threatened Shaka, he does not want Mima to be ashamed of falling.
“Mim!” call Shaka when Mima is stubborn and almost collapses if Shaka does not hold him fast.
For a moment the two views crooked so close, it was fortunate that the sound of the bell immediately resuscitated one of them before there was a teacher watching.
Shaka re-raises Mima's body, the girl being misbehaved.
“Sorry yes,” regrets Shaka.
Mima shook his head weakly and walked to the class ahead of the man, Shaka walked slowly behind Mima without any intention of catching up with him.

Shaka is introduced as a new student in Mima's class, a student who is in the class cheering seductively on the sweet black students from the capital, except Mima of course.
“You sit next to Dheo, yes,” said the teacher who taught that afternoon.
“Not a problem, Sir!”
Dheo stared in dislike as Shaka approached and once again shook hands with him. Mima doesn't like it either, as it means Shaka is sitting right behind his stool.
“Oh yes, Shaka, I am also from the island of Java, here teaching Mathematics, the children call me Mr. Selamet, but if in the UK called Congratulation, then,” said the teacher with glasses that always perched out of place.
“Not funny, sir,” said one of the children while the others held back laughter after seeing Mr. Selamet's gaze from his sagging glasses.
“Mim, Mima!” call Dheo while stabbing Mima's small shoulder with his pen.
Mima turned her body backwards.
“You moved here dong, let Farhana who is on the right,” pinta Dheo to be able to sit right behind Mima.
Farhana who heard Dheo's words was also enthusiastic if he had to sit in front of Shaka.
“Mau, Mim .. want, Ambo want, let's tukeran bench,” he said girang.
Farhana directly faced back and greeted Shaka. Shaka replied to the greeting kindly but pointed forward so that the bright yellow-skinned girl again listened to the teacher who was explaining, even though she herself was wary of Dheo who was starting to suspect.
“Ssut .. ssut!” hiss Dheo, this time patting Mima's shoulder softly.
Mima smiled inwardly, but her facial expression remained solemn as if permeating the formula on top of the whiteboard.
As he looked back, Dheo held out a folded piece of paper. Mima picked it up and secretly read in the desk drawer.
“Mima Ayumna!” shouted Mr. Selamet with a sharp gaze, because the harrumphed has not stopped from the row of Mima's table.
Mima was wide-eyed and sculpted, Mr. Selamet approached Mima's table and took the paper that Mima was holding.
“This is read in front of the class let everyone hear!” the teacher's orders.
Mima was afraid, he was most anti-the limelight, especially if showing punishment.
“Forward, Mima!” repeat that Teacher.
“That's a letter from me, sir. Let me just go forward,” interrupted Dheo while pushing his wooden bench and standing up to advance.
“Wah ... wah, there is a martial it turns out, here forward both!”
The incident of course made the whole class cheer, Dheo without hesitation came out of his stool and stopped by Mima's bench.
“Yuk, don't be afraid, there's me!” said slowly.
Despite the hesitation, Mima finally stood up and walked out of his stool, the two of them standing side by side opposite the thirty-five humans who were frenziedly cheering.
“What did you read, Mima?”
Mima was silent and showed the teacher a piece of paper.
“Who's letter?”
Mima was still silent, only her eyes were pointing towards Dheo, Dheo smiling leisurely enjoying Mima's expression.
“Read the letter Dheo!” the teacher's orders.
Dheo took the paper out of Mima's hand and was not ashamed to read aloud what he had written there.
Mim, the continent of Antarctica is far away right? but Antarctica, no, yes. Hehe. Thanks for moving her seat. Go home together, yuk.
Dheo confidently looked at Mima while reading the contents of his own letter, Mima blushed and became misbehaved, but he still did not like being cheered by his friends.
Mr. Selamet bobbed his head, but strangely his glasses still perched there.
