The morning was still covered in fog, as the car driven by driver Mark, drove down the road, splitting the fog and cold weather. Mark's feelings were rather heavy as well leaving his wife who had just returned home from the hospital. Not to mention the matter of Ratih, which he had to solve. Now comes the problem from his workplace.
"Our uncle went straight to the barracks or stopped in the post?" ask Deni driver Mark who is also his assistant after Trisna. The energetic young man had always been reliable to Mark in this kind of urgent situation.
However, only Mark knows the double position held by Deni. Most of his men know that Deni is just Mark's personal driver who is always taken out of town.
Where do you think we're going Deni?" Mark asked Deni's eyebrows and frowned at the absurd answer.
"If I don't think it's both, sir."
"Why?" mark's frowning brows looked at Deni with astonished looks.
"We don't know the situation there yet, sir. Moreover, Trisna has not also gave news since last night. If we come in plain view I doubt our safety, sir." Deni expressed what was entrenched in him.
Even though there have been reports that the police have bwrsulah arrested the person who became the provocateurs of the demo, Deni still doubted the security on the ground.
"Trus what do you have plans for, Deni?" Mark glanced at the man with the black belt.
"We stopped at my uncle's house, sir. My uncle lives near that village, we can find information first, before entering the conflict village."
"All right, it's up to you. My gut feeling isn't good either, why is Trisna so hard to contact if something happened to them?" guess Mark.
"All will be answered when we get there, sir."
By noon Mark and Deni arrive at his uncle's village. The two were warmly welcomed by Uncle Deni. Deni asked for several things related to the problem of road construction projects that were protested by villagers next door.
"Citizens actually do not mind the construction of the road. With the road, it makes it easier for residents to transport their earth and can sell it directly to the district city because farmers are often played by middlemen" said Deni uncle at length.
Mark silently digested all the words spoken by his uncle Deni. Now it is clear that the problem comes from the middlemen. If the citizens do not sell any more agricultural products on them, it will certainly hurt them greatly.
"Do you know the latest news about the demo?" ask Mark to know how the fate of the child.
"See, there were some people who were kidnapped. I don't know if that's true. Said the police had stepped in to the scene."
"Thank you uncle for the explanation. Later in the afternoon I will review the location" Deni said.
"Be careful, Mr. Darman's men are many and still roaming around. They still like to terrorize people even though he's been transported by the police to the county town."
"Okay uncle, we'll be careful."
"They are evil and sadistic. Yesterday they had burned the barracks of the workers, fortunately the fire soon died because of the rain. Uncle will accompany you to meet the village chief there. So you can get protection."
"Thank you for the kindness, Father." Mark was very happy with the support of his uncle, Mr. Amir Deni, because he wanted to bridge them to meet the village head.
Meanwhile in an old hut, Trisna and three of her friends have been kidnapped. They were held captive with their hands bound and their mouths gagged. The place they were held was located far away in the middle of the forest.
Residents do not know the place of detention, and the perpetrators of the kidnapping are also still confusing. Some say Darman's men but some say they are the ones on the project who are pro to Mr. Darman. *****
