Rudi is my Love
RAC 52: Barada Arrives

*Rudi is My Love (RAC)*

Sunirah was sitting in the kitchen chopping red onions. In front of him sat Pure who was memotongi kale leaves.

Suharja who did not go to the auction today came in to pick up the grindstone, it seemed like he was willing to sharpen his long cleaver again.

“Why cry again, Rah?” reprimanded Suharja who saw his wife wiping her eyes with the back of her right hand.

Sunirah looks increasingly thin, proved his clothes are increasingly loose and his chest is getting thinner.

“Already, do not need to cry on your child. Everyone keeps trying to find, including me,” said Suharja half-pitched nagging.

“I cried because of the soreness of the onion,” replied Sunirah whose condition was better after being sick for two weeks more.

“Oooh,” sigh Suharja.

“How? Said he went to Suardi's house to guard the stadium counter?” ask Pure.

“Iya. Suardi wanted to ask first to the person who ever gave the photo. Still do not want to tell who it is,” replied Suharja.

“Paaak, phone tuh!” jerdy shouted from the front of the house.

Suharja immediately turned around and brought the grindstone forward.

Klinong klinong …!

Suharja immediately grabbed his ultimate phone that still had a ringtone like three years ago. He hoped it was Suardi who called. The number of the caller is not listed so it is not the name that appears, but only a string of numbers.

“Hallo!” suharja said after opening the connection. He put the rock on the table. “Wa ‘alaikum greetings!”

Suharja answered the greeting from the end of the connection.

“Iya, yes, yes. How, Sur?” suharja said with a tense face, but his tone was enthusiastic.

Ferdy who was exercising alone in the yard, immediately came to approach his father when he heard Suardi's call called.

“Oh so. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But when is the next news?” suharja asked Suardi on the phone.

Suharja shut up for a moment.

“Alright then. Hopefully later there will be good news,” said Suharja. “Thank you yes, Sur. Assalamu ‘alaikum!”

“What's he saying, Sir?” ferdy asked after his dad hung up.

“On the inside, let me not twice the story,” said Suharja as he walked into the kitchen, meeting two women who were working.

Don't want Ferdy coming in. He also wanted to know what Suardi was telling them, which they had been santroni this morning.

“Sunirah, just now Suardi phone news,” said Suharja while sitting on the floor anyway.

Sunirah and Pure so stop the work of his hands. They seriously looked at the head of the family.

“Tadi Suardi said. The person he kept his name secret wanted to help. But the man had to ask his friend who had arrested and beat up Dendi. Whether it can or not. We just pray that the person who caught Dendi can try to find Vina's whereabouts. So, we still have to wait for news again, but do not know it will be fast or long,” said Suharja.

“Aalhamdulillah's. At least we have hope, sir,” said Sunirah full of breadfruit, although reportedly not final. Then he said to his missing daughter, “Yes Allah Vina. How are you doing, son?”

Sunirah cried again without a puff.

“If the man could, while the police alone until now have no news, it would mean that the man is greater than the police, sir,” said Ferdy who is a bit smart even though he did not graduate High School, but graduated Kalianda Football Academy.

“But I suspect, the person that Suardi kept secret was the person in this village as well, Sir,” Ferdy said.

“If the person who can catch Dendi is level above the police, maybe the army, Fer. I'm the same as Mr. Dodi. As a retired businessman, surely he still has a relationship with the military people,” Suharja guessed.

“Can be, Sir.”

“Fer, the day after you vice-in I was present at the mappanre temme event at Rudi's wedding. Lazy I go there,” said Suharja, referring to one of Bugis traditional events ahead of the marriage contract of the bride and groom, which is to feed or reward people who have finished reading the Quran.

“Iya, Sir.”

“If asked, just say again busy looking for information about Vina,” said Suharja again.

“But as per agreement, it is better that you attend. As a character in this village, you must be present. Moreover, Daeng Kamsiah who came directly invited,” said Sunirah who again tried not to be sad anymore. “Later in the afternoon I also want to go there to help. Moreover, we have never visited Rudi.”

Hearing the words of his wife, Suharja fell silent while taking a deep breath.

For Suharja, Rudi's marriage to a girl other than Vina was painful, although he once stated that Rudi was sincere if he chose another woman.

Meanwhile, the activity at the groom's house already looks crowded. In the yard was a tent. The mothers of Rudi's relatives and closest neighbors have started cooking. Aziz and Sandro and other friends of Rudi, including girls from among relatives began to make decorations to beautify the house.

Children also play around the house. They like to take the rest of the decoration trash to be used as toys.

Children are specially made two egg trees. The tree is made of banana pods coated by colorful manila paper. The tree was then planted with bamboo sticks at the end of which were planted with boiled chicken eggs. The lid is wrapped around a crepe paper tape and the eggs are colorful painted.

Two beautiful trees that both children and adults are interested in, are on display in front of the terrace since morning. It was only in the afternoon that children were allowed to take one by one until the eggs ran out. Tomorrow morning will be installed new eggs that are also colorful. It was one of Rudi's ways to make the children happy in the days leading up to his marriage contract with the Moon.

Not long after the time of the asar prayer passed, a luxurious purple car entered the fishing village. The arrival of the luxury car that costs maybe billions of dollars is attracting the attention of residents.

By entering the village, the glass door has been opened in half so that Barada and his parents can enjoy the sea air comfortably, even though during the ferry crossing they are full of sea breeze.

The opening of the door glass makes residents can see that the purple luxury car is driven by a very beautiful Muslim woman with sunglasses. So stunning the eyes of men and women, young and old.

Many residents are reminded of Vina who returned to the village with a luxury car and sunglasses, only the difference in the clothing model. Residents could also see the whereabouts of Muttaqin and Latifah.

For villagers who are classified as senior aka age above half a century, may have seen the face of Muttaqin as the younger brother of the late Haji Daeng Tanri.

“Assalamu ‘alaikum, Ustaz!” greeting a man suddenly on the side of the village road, while recognizing the face of Muttaqin in a slow-moving car.

“Wa ‘alaikum greetings, Ustaz!” reply Muttaqin while waving to Ustaz Barzanji whom he knew familiarly.

However, Barada did not stop his car. He keeps running his car.

“Ke home, Ustaz!” muttaqin shouted as he tilted his head out.

“Insyaallah later tonight only!” sahut Ustaz Barzanji who just returned from Al-Fatah Mosque.

“How do you not stop for a moment, Badar?” latifah's reprimand to her daughter.

“Later if it stops can be a long time to arrive, Ummi. Moreover, I again peed,” replied Barada.

The arrival of the luxury car more and more people pay attention when arriving in front of Rudi's house, because there are indeed many people.

“Aziz! Angel from Jakarta coming!” shouted Sandro to Aziz. He was so happy to see the arrival of Barada, not the arrival of Muttaqin or Latifah.

Sandro hurried down without sandals again and went to meet Barada. He means who knows there are items that need to be taken down from the car, not because of kangen. (BH)
