The Hospital Canteen

In the busy hospital cafeteria, the calm atmosphere is instantly interrupted when Ethan enters the queue to get his lunch. Eyelights from various circles immediately followed his every step.

Ethan is a doctor who is not only known for his skills, but also for his charming charm.

The handsome doctor has become an idol among the patients he has treated, they will not hesitate to give a warm smile when they see it. They know that Ethan always gives extra care and genuine care to each patient.

Not only the patients, the nurses who work at the hospital can't help but smile as Ethan passes by them. They know that Ethan is a partner who is always ready to help and provide support.

His colleagues, both doctors and other medical personnel, always felt lucky to have Ethan on their team. His intelligence in diagnosing and treating patients is undeniable. However, what makes Ethan so special is his ability to establish good relationships with everyone around him.

"Today what will you order, Doctor Ethan?" Reprimand a nurse when Ethan finally arrives at the checkout to order food.

"I'll order my favorite dish" he said, then the food he ordered came. Thank you." he said.

"Excuse me" said Ethan with a warm smile.

Ethan's presence in the canteen always leaves a positive impression on everyone. Even the nurse who greeted him did not let go of the strands of smiles when Ethan had already moved away from him.

Amidst the din of the hospital canteen, Ethan's eyes circulate looking for a seat with his food plate already filled.

That afternoon, it seemed like good luck was smiling at him. At the corner table, Ethan sees Jade sitting by herself bribing her food. Ethan's heart pounded hard, he decided to approach Jade.

"Hi, Jade. Can I join you?" Ethan asked carefully.

Jade, who was enjoying her own lunch, looked up and smiled kindly. "Of course, please sit down."

Ethan feels happiness covering his heart as he sits beside Jade. They began to talk about work while enjoying the dishes in front of them. Their conversation went so smoothly, and Ethan felt very happy to be able to share time with Jade.

In the middle of a warm conversation between Ethan and Jade. Unexpectedly, Emile's figure appeared. He carries a plate filled with food and without further ado, sits between Ethan and Jade.

Suddenly, Ethan feels the atmosphere around the table is changing. There was a glaring silence, like a dark cloud that suddenly covered the sun. Emile, who had always secretly loved Ethan, now made his presence so noticeable. Emile is jealous to see Ethan and Jade becoming familiar and Ethan realizes Emile's jealousy.

"Tumben once did you eat in the cafeteria?" ask Ethan to break up that dark atmosphere.

"While you want to. What are you guys talking about? Seems like I'm not bothering you guys, am I?" His word.

"Of course not" said Jade quickly who realized that between Emile and Ethan there was a special relationship. While Emile, she tried to smile kindly at Jade.

"Oh, what are you talking about?" ask Emile again.

"We're just talking about work, nothing important. Isn't that so, Doctor Ethan?" Jade sailed awkwardly. He calls Ethan a doctor.

"Hm, we're just talking about work."

"Oh so," said Emile cuek while bribing food into his mouth.

Amidst the tension that hit their table, Ethan suddenly remembered something that made him curious.

Ethan sees that Emile is talking to his patient Black and that something seems to be catching Emile's attention at the time.

Ethan decides to ease the tension by trying to shift his attention to a more neutral topic.

"Emi, I just saw you talking to a patient of mine, he's named Black and that person has a burn on the face. I see it looks like you guys are very close?"

I didn't think Ethan was aware of my closeness between Black. Damn it!— "Ah that, I accidentally met him. I see he's pensive. As a doctor, my soul curiosity about the condition of patients thrashed. Then I tried to get close to him and ask him about the problem and you know what he said?" emile asked Ethan, but the handsome doctor just shook his head.

"He's very upset with you. He said you couldn't diagnose the illness he was suffering from and I was quite surprised to hear about it" Emile explained.

Ethan who heard Emile's explanation could only smile. But not with Jade, the black decomposing doctor was just flabbergasted, because he knew that Ethan was never wrong in diagnosing his patients.

"I told him to check the lab so I could know more about his illness because I couldn't draw conclusions about his illness."

Emile's face revealed a very noticeable shock. Even the beautiful woman frowned deeply. But as quickly as lightning Emile neutralized his expression again.

"Why can you say that? Has your ability to diagnose you been lost?" Asked Emile who was nodding by Jade. The beautiful doctor that the children loved so much was just as curious as Emile.

"I didn't find the disease. But the patient is chortled if he is sick. What do I do if my patient believes he has a disease and the only way, well check the lab." Ethan Typhoon.

"Your actions are right, I would do the same if I had such a patient" Jade said, agreeing with Ethan.

When the three of them were talking about a patient named Black, suddenly the atmosphere again changed drastically when the arrival of a man in a neat suit arrived - suddenly appeared carrying a large bouquet of beautiful roses.

The handsome man arrived - suddenly acting respectful and prostrating before Jade with a happy smile on his face.

Ethan who previously knew nothing about Jade's relationship could only look at the man with one eyebrow raised.

Who is this guy? A big question popped into his mind as he tried to digest the shocking incident.

Jade looked surprised as well as happy to see the arrival of the man. He did not put on his smile.

"This is for you" he said, giving a large bouquet of roses.

"Jeez Chris, when are you back?" Jade asked with a radiant face. "Thank you, Chris," he said with outstretched hands receiving the bouquet.

"I just got here and miss you, Honey." Chris reached for Jade's hand and kissed the back of her hand.

"Who is Doctor Jade?" ask Emile with a curious look.

"Ah, I'm sorry. Meet Chris Rustoff. He's my future husband,"

"Uhukk!" Ethan chokes on his own saliva and quickly gives Ethan his drinking water.

"Wedding?" Ethan said with a face of disbelief.

"Hi all, I'm Chris. I'm Jade's fiance." Chris said confidently while raising Jade's hand and himself to show the ring embedded in each finger.

Ethan rounds his eyes but not Emile. "Congratulations on your engagement." Exclaims.
