S2 Remorse that remains
During the trip to Slovenia Charlotte enjoyed it by reading Fashion magazine. She has been interested in fashion ever since she gave birth to her two children. Moreover, considering him who must often go out to carry out royal duties, he must definitely wear the appropriate suit.
Finished reading Charlotte glanced at Damian and her two children were watching cartoons on television. He smiled at how Damian loved his two children. " Where are the kids?" charlotte asked without answering Damian's question.
" The kids I've moved into his room maybe they're tired after playing earlier." Damian paused before his hands held Charlotte's shoulders.
" Have you not forgiven her until now, Audrey. It's been five years since it happened" Damian said.
Charlotte sighed tiredly while looking at Damian.
" Maybe if he's not working with Zeline. I can forgive him but unfortunately he is someone who ruined my life deeper than you Damian. Maybe I can forgive you and brother Darius considering you're only affected by him. But for her I can't. I can't forgive how she slapped me in her previous life.." Charlotte said, sobbing softly.
Every waking Damian can only hope that his departed son never hates him even though he believes his son has forgiven him. But still the wound itself had not healed seeing the crying Charlotte reminded him.
So all he could do was hug Charlotte so that she felt that she was not alone she was still there to take care of him.
Charlotte continued to cry until she was exhausted and fell asleep in Damian's arms. Damian who felt Charlotte's calm breath slowly let go of his embrace saw his wife who had fallen asleep. A smile rose on his face as Damian slowly lifted Charlotte's bridal style body into his room.

Then Damian put Charlotte on the bed while covering her. Damian stroked Charlotte's wavy white hair until he didn't feel his tears coming back.
" I'm sorry.I'm sorry." said Damian in a soft voice so as not to wake Charlotte.
" I promise I won't do that, I will try to protect you despite the stakes of my own life. Once again forgive me." said Damian as he fused his forehead against Charlotte's forehead looking at the tightly closed gray eyes hiding his beautiful bead.
