S2 Relationships Are Increasingly Stretching
After a long journey they finally arrived at the Palace.
Charlotte is helped by Damian out of the Limousine followed by Darell, Celline, Darius and Shakira. Everyone was waiting for him at the door of the palace. But Charlotte's gaze was fixed on one of the middle-aged men sitting on her wheelchair while looking at her wistfully. It made her feel uncomfortable when she turned her face away.
Damian who knew that Charlotte was uncomfortable holding her hand more tightly channeled her power as if she was not alone there she was always by her side.
Darius and Shakira who were at the front immediately bowed slightly respectfully to the Former King Eduardo.
" Thank you that Father has bothered to welcome us" Darius said flatly as he clasped Shakira's hand.
The former king only smiled at the accident that occurred five years ago. Making his eyes open he admitted he was the mastermind behind the destruction of his two children.
" I'm glad my two children are getting along. Then let's have dinner first before the conversation." said Eduardo, who invited them all to eat.
They were all silent until the Celline beside Charlotte slowly stepped forward towards Eduardo.
" I'm sorry who is Sir? Why are you at Uncle's palace?" ask Celline innocently.
Makes Charlotte who heard it open up. He had not yet introduced Eduardo to his children. The relationship between the two is not yet finished.
Eduardo was glued to his wheelchair before putting on his soft face as his hand rubbed the white mane of the Celline that was very similar to Charlotte and Violet.
" Are you Celline very similar to your Mother and Grandma" said Eduardo, glancing at Damian, who was looking at her intently.
It is not the relationship of Eduardo and his two sons that is stretched. But Eduardo and Damian's relationship is starting to break down they are hostile to each other especially after the events of Zeline's unraveling increasingly makes them silent to each other.
" So you're my grandfather" Celline said, hugging Eduardo's leg.
Eduardo was speechless seeing Celline hug him suddenly.
Charlotte who saw him turned her face away. Darius who felt an uncomfortable atmosphere immediately told them to come in.
During dinner they were silent with each other except Celline who spoke to Eduardo about his daily life. Considering this was their first meeting. Darell glanced at Celline who was completely unaware of the uncomfortable atmosphere.
Although he was still four years old but because he had the genes of both his parents so he had a strong sensitivity than Celline. Darell immediately understood seeing the relationship of Mommy and Grandpa was not familiar but like strangers who did not know each other at all. Actually Darell wanted to know about it but considering it looks like his Mommy didn't plan to tell him. Makes her have to wait for him.
Damian looked at Darell who was staring at Eduardo and Celline. Damian knows that his son feels wrong. But he was silent because he had no right to tell stories other than Charlotte.
" Do you still feel pain, Your Majesty?" damian asked who broke the mood.
Eduardo who was hearing Celline's story glanced at Damian.
"I've been feeling better even though sometimes my body feels pain when sleeping and waking up. But I am glad to know that the Son-in-law still cares about this old man." said Eduardo as he glanced at Charlotte for umpteenth today.
Charlotte looked back at Eduardo with a sharp look.
