Damian kept daydreaming until he was in his room he just sat on the edge of the bed while linking his hands together. Making Charlotte who was combing her hair look at him in wonder.
Since her brother's wedding is over Damian keeps quiet.
" What did the old man say?" charlotte asked as she scrunched her forehead.
Charlotte knew that Damian had met Eduardo. He did not know what Eduardo was saying until it made Damian look gloomy. Unable to bear to see it, Charlotte finally decided to ask.
" Damian, actually you why have you been so busy with your thoughts since, Is it because of my father's words?" charlotte asked as she moved her feet closer towards Damian.
Damian who saw that Charlotte was close to him immediately pulled him until he fell on his lap. Making Charlotte initially strangled when she wanted to scold him, Damian suddenly hugged her tightly making Charlotte undo her intention by gently combing Damian's hair.
Damian enjoys Charlotte's touch and feels calmer with only the attention of his wife.
" Audrey, I have an older brother" Damian said, revealing what he was thinking.
Charlotte who was combing Damian's hair immediately stopped. He was surprised to hear Charlotte staring at Damian. She could see the eyes of her Husband who also looked shocked by this news.
" It's not that you're Damian's only child, how could you possibly have an older brother unless you had one" Charlotte said.
After that Damian recounted all his conversations with Eduardo about the birth of his brother, his father, even the scandal of his brother's mysterious death.
Charlotte was surprised to hear that she did not expect that this big secret had only been revealed in their second life.
" That means you're not the only heir, the king should be your brother, not you" Charlotte guessed.
Damian nodded his head as he looked at the ceiling of his luxurious-looking room. He still does not think he has been fooled all-out by his own biological father.
Charlotte who saw him seemed to understand himself could see Damian who looked injured from the radiance of his eyeballs. He could do nothing but embrace her to give her peace.
" Have you never seen him in the palace?" charlotte asked curiously because she heard from Damian's story that another boy King Arnold had lived in the palace.
Damian who heard it immediately scrunched his forehead trying to remember the incident several years ago. Before his head nodded.
" Yes I had met him when I was 5 years old, at that time my father still hated me so much because of my birth that made my mother die. Dad put me in the back palace which is quite far from the palace since I was a baby. I'm just being nurtured by Ila. I remember a little bit when I got tired of being in the palace finally decided to take a walk, until I accidentally met a boy who was older than me he invited me to play. But it was only once and we have never met again since that day. Maybe dad just didn't want his favorite son to meet an outcast like me. If only....
