A week later....

It's been a week since Charlotte's return to the past. He lived his days as usual but there was a difference when Charlotte always dreamed of meeting his biological family and living his life happily. But now Charlotte's only desire to get her revenge on her biological family let alone the snake woman who has ruined her life to the point of being unresponsive.

Remembering it all made Charlotte feel angry until she unconsciously gripped the paper held by her until it was torn so strong to grip her.

Charlotte doesn't even want to play like a kid her age because she remembers that many of the parlors don't like her.

Suddenly Aunt Agnes came to him, making Charlotte stand from where she was sitting.

" Aunt Agnes" Charlotte said in a childlike voice.

It was impossible for Charlotte to be precocious.

" Oh come on Audrey we have to prepare because soon someone will come to this home and adopt one of the children" Aunt Agnes said as she held Charlotte.

Actually, Charlotte is a little embarrassed because she is still in the hold because she is actually 20 years older. Charlotte recalled that in the past no one had come to adopt a child but they were just sending her help. The children at the new home were adopted when Charlotte was 7 years old. No one wants to adopt it.

" Hopefully he won't adopt you if there's no way I'll be made their maid. Just hearing it made my feathers stand up." Charlotte's mind.

Charlotte was helped to change her clothes better indeed only she was still helped by Aunt Agnes. Charlotte only displays a lethargic look when Aunt Agnes dresses her up.

" Audrey why does she look so lethargic?" ask Aunt Agnes gently.

" Why are you crying Audrey?" aunt Agnes asked worriedly.

Charlotte instead of stopping her crying she immediately hugged Aunt Agnes' body.

" Audrey doesn't want to part with Auntie Hix." Charlotte said in between tears.

" If Audrey's chosen, Auntie please accept it, it's all for Audrey's happiness to have parents who love you. Audrey's gonna see Aunt again" Aunt Agnes said.

Charlotte who heard him nod her head thought that no one loved him sincerely. He just wanted to make Aunt Agnes happy.

After that Charlotte was taken to a room where all the children her age gathered because the parents who wanted to adopt were her age.

" Welcome Mr. Hepburn and Mrs Hepburn" said the caretaker.

While Charlotte just lowered her head because she realized someone was watching her.

Mikael Hepburn, who was watching Charlotte, smiled. Seeing that his wife named Sarah also followed a smile because from a long time ago he wanted to have a child. Sarah walked up to Charlotte and crouched down in front of her.

" Hey little girl what's your name?" ask Sarah gently.

Making Charlotte raise her head she could see the beautiful woman smiling sincerely at him.

" Charlotte Audrey." replied Charlotte with a plain smile.

Sarah who heard it was glad she immediately grabbed Charlotte's hand and walked towards her Husband.

" Mikael I want to adopt her" Sarah said happily.

Mikael, who could not resist his wife's wishes, complied.

Charlotte Audrey has since acquired the family name Hepburn and acquired all of her wealth. Charlotte is trained to be someone strong because her family has many enemies.

Moreover, his adoptive parents died in an accident when he stepped on 13 years due to enemies who do not like the Family. From that day on, Charlotte became an Agent and heir to all of her family's wealth.
