SERINA: I'M AN EXTRA

SERINA: I'M AN EXTRA
MISSION FAIL?

Half-running I rushed to Saemi's room, which was just adjacent to the wall with the study room that I had occupied. As much as possible I refrain from shouting the name of Saemi so as not to provoke the suspicion of mama who is currently still swept away in the soap opera story that he had seen

When I came out of the room, I found Aleai standing right in front of the door of Saemi's room with a look down. The phone he held on his left hand was still on, the screen displaying the name of the contact he had just contacted a few seconds ago

I no longer intended to ask what happened to Alea who was still silent despite realizing that I was nearby. My current focus is to immediately meet Saemi to find out firsthand how Saemi is doing right now without having to go through the middle of Alea's explanation

With a slightly shaking hand, I opened the doorknob of Saemi's room. Found the girl sitting curled up in the corner of the room. Both ears he covered with palms, while his mouth was either busy muttering any sentence

My body pecked for a few seconds observing Saemi's back which seemed to tremble slightly. Indeed I did not hear the sound of a sobbing, but I can be sure at this time he was crying because he was frightened by the presence of Alea who suddenly entered his room

I closed Saemi's room. Stepping slowly approaching the existence of Saemi who was still sitting curled up in the corner of the row so as not to further make him surprised let alone afraid. Keep his body in my arms, in the hope that this way will be able to reduce the feeling of fear or anxiety that he is feeling right now

I inhaled a long breath through both nostrils and then exhaled slowly through my mouth. Moving the fingers of my right hand to tidy up every single strand of Saemi's hair that looked messy before it started to open the sound

“Saem..this is me, Serina” I said softly without trying to look at his face which he currently hid in my arms

Without waiting for a response or answer out of Saemi's mouth, I re-open the voice “You were really surprised huh? I'm sorry yes, because I can't make a promise I make keep taking care of you”

Saemi is still silent. I felt her hand clutching tightly onto my shirt tremble a little “But now it's okay, she's out of your room. So you don't have to be afraid anymore Saem..”.

Carefully, I extended my left hand to hold her still shaking hand, while my right hand was still used to gently caress Saemi's back “Oh yes, you want not if all this time I always screamed a very tight temen the same me at school? Alea's name is you want, right?”

I gave a little pause to my sentence, interrupting it with a question that I myself already know that Saemi will not answer “Nah, that was accidentally entered into your room is called Alea Saem, which is not, the good people I always tell you about. Because he's a good boy, so you don't have to be afraid anymore huh...”.

After hearing all the words that came out of my mouth, the vibration on Saemi's body slightly diminished. His mouth was also not as busy as before when he let out a mutter. I let go of my grip on his hand. Change his task to stroke the mane of his hair slowly while again trying to invite him to dialogue with several times throwing questions “You do not want to get up and sit on the mattress aja Saem? The floor is cold, you will get sick”

“If you know I will not go to my friends to study at home, so sorry I am Saem. You want to apologize to me?”

“If you are confused with friends I even make your trauma so relapse again rich gini, tomorrow-tomorrow I will not again dejakin temen I make play or learn here”

Saemi is still flinching. Both of his hands still faithfully hugged my body tightly. It was as if my body was the safest place to relieve his fear. My hand also returned his embrace was no less tight, while my eyes looked around staring at whatever was in every corner of this room. Capturing the existence of Arka also Alea who is currently standing rigidly observing the existence of me and Saemi who was masik sitting on the floor with a position of hugging each other through the gap of the room door that they accidentally opened

I put my index finger over my lips, giving a signal to keep them quiet and not make any noise or commotion that will make Saemi who now looks a little calm to be back or even more afraid

As if understanding by the gesture I gave, Arka and Alea simultaneously nodded their heads. They carefully closed the door to Saemi's room so that there were no more gaps they could use to observe our activities

After the door closed again, I tightened my embrace on Saemi. Drowning my head in the recesses of Saemi's neck while occasionally whispering something in her ear. Hopefully in this way the fear and trauma that he is currently feeling can be reduced even if only a little

It's not the first time I've seen Saemi's sudden relapsing trauma like it is today. And based on the experience I had from Aunt Lusi, the only thing Saemi needed when her trauma returned to its present state was a soothing warm embrace from those closest to her. Embracing his body tightly until he feels safe is also protected while occasionally patting his back or rubbing each mane of his hair. Bluffing softly on his ears ‘it's okay, they've gone’ until his eyes closed and his mouth stopped muttering something from exhaustion

It took me a short time to get Saemi to calm down and fall asleep in my arms. By gathering all the energy I had, I lifted up Saemi's body which was almost twice as heavy as mine. Embrace him to a bedar-sized mattress in the middle of his room before laying down his body up there and enveloping him with a thick blanket of his favorite fur

Several times I stroked his head again. Whispering sorry for planning a crazy idea like this which of course he will not hear because he was asleep. For the last time, I again whispered an apology to Saemi. Sorry because I do not intend to stop the mission that I have already arranged despite knowing in the future he will suffer as it is today

It can be said that at this time I do look like a bad person because it seems to force his brother to face something that traumatized him for the last few years. But this is actually all I'm doing for Saemi's own good. Indeed, he will find it difficult because he has to go back to face the things he has avoided because it can remind him of the dark memories of the past. But if he managed to get through and face it bravely, the trauma he had been suffering from would never return

After feeling enough, I set my foot toward Saemi's bedroom door. Gaze at a glimpse of Saemi's calm face after falling asleep before turning the doorknob in front of me and walking out from inside her room. Walking with careless steps towards the study room to meet my two friends who may be currently also in fear because they feel worried and guilty about Saemi's current state

***

When I entered the study room, I found the whereabouts of Arka and Alea who were sitting facing each other while being silent. Their faces looked very upset when they saw me coming from Saemi's room after calming Saemi's fear of Alea accidentally entering her room on the idea and my instructions a moment ago

I joined them, sitting my body on the floor of the room covered with a thick white fur carpet that felt warm. Silence, none of the three of us intend to open our voices. Our minds are too busy sinking into the complexities of our heads right now

Alea opened her voice again, her hand she used to squeeze the feathers on the carpet she was sitting on at the moment. As if to tell him that he is currently feeling agitated “For I am not careful living our mission, Saemi's trauma so relapse”

I exhaled heavily, my gaze never getting taken away from Alea's bead that was currently staring at me

“Nothing Alea, this is not your fault anyway. After all, Saemi's response wasn't as bad as I had imagined it to be. So it's okay, our mission does not fail” I said while holding Alea's hand

Hearing my words, the conscious Arka just kept quiet and listened also opened her voice. Pat Alea's shoulder gently to give a little peace “Iya Al you do not feel guilty about it. This is the plan that we make together, and we also already know about the events rich gini if we maksain Saemi to meet strangers? So already do not feel too guilty, Al, Saemi's response was also not as severe as we imagine. So you could say our first mission succeeded sih”

I nodded, approving every word that came out of Arka's mouth. While both of my hands were still busy clasping tightly onto Alea's hands to reduce the anxiety she was feeling at the moment

“Iya Alea, these are all ideas that we have agreed on together. So you do not brain yourself and feel guilty rich gini huh?” I said carefully which was replied with a small nod of Alea

Seeing Alea's already much calmer state, I reopened my voice. Asking him to tell in detail what he had done also what response Saemi gave “Better now you tell us, how is the complete chronology until Saemi so it?”

Alea bit her lower lip, took a deep breath before starting to speak “According to the direction from you yesterday Ser, it was out of the bathroom I went straight up. I was there a few minutes in front of Saemi's room. Afraid that I would enter Saemi immediately shouted hysterically as you told us”

Alea paused a little on his sentence. Sighing back a long breath before connecting “But because I want the purpose of our mission to liberate Saemi from her trauma as a stranger, I dare to open the door to Saemi” room

“Pas I open the door, I saw Saemi again casually reading a book while eating fruit on a mattress” Alea continued the story while looking at me and Arka who were currently focused on listening to every word that came out of her mouth in turn

“And when he realized the door was open, he immediately noleh. After realizing that the one who opened his room was not you or your mother he was only caged for a few seconds while constantly looking into my eyes”

“Because he was caged, so I think he's not too afraid of me because maybe he's been horrified about me from you and don't consider me completely a stranger or a dangerous person for him”

“At last I dare to enter, sorry because instead of entering here I went into his room”

“Well that's my fault Ser, I shouldn't be dodging inside because I don't feel Saemi is afraid of me” Alea again giving a pause while gently shuffling her hair

“Pas knew I was entering his room, Saemi immediately slammed the book. He ran straight to the corner of his room. He squatted there while curling his own knees. His mouth constantly muttered something that I myself also did not know he was talking about what”

“I'm actually a little relieved because Saemi's reaction when I went into her room did not immediately scream hysterically that way, but I still takur Ser”

“I was still afraid if anything happened to Saemi because I” Alea looked me in the eye after saying her last sentence which I immediately twelve with a quick slit. The hand that I used to hold his hand, I am currently willing to cupped his cheeks so that his eyes remain focused on my eyes

“You are not wrong and Saemi is now okay. That's the normal response he'd normally show if he met a stranger. And even waiting for me Saemi's response when I met you earlier was the best response she has shown over the last few years” I said firmly while looking into her eyes

“I even want to say thank you very much because you have been trying hard to help me rich gini” continued me again who was immediately greeted with Alea naggukan

I took off my fist on Alea's face, turned my gaze to look at Arka who had been silent beside me “You are also Ka, thank you because you have free time to learn you to help me rich gini”

“I also apologize for the study time for our Olympic preparations so disturbed because I” Arka immediately shook her head quickly to hear my words

“After I thought about it, the mission we made at this time was too sudden and less mateng” I resumed my sentence. Staring at Arka was also Alea taking turns

“So I think it's better this mission we pending first for a while”

“For these weeks I want to focus first on learning Olympic preparation whose implementation has been just counting days. I do not want because this mission even makes our learning so not maximal and even negcewain Pak Bagus also a school that has given confidence to us”

“After the Olympics is finished, we think and plan again a more mateng mission to help Saemi out of her trauma. You guys still want to help me?”
