SEVEN GATES: WAR OF CHAOS
Chapter 1: The Kingdom of Nirviana and the first gate

In the Kingdom of Nirvana there is a guild or can be called an organization that regulates everything about royal knights and magicians, usually the magicians and knights get missions from killing natural monsters that exist in the western part of the kingdom or accept requests from the public or nobles. But in the past few years a gate has appeared suddenly, arriving there, the gate spewed out ferocious monsters from another world called Gate Monsters, Guilds do not just stay silent, but they are, a new job was created called "Gate Hunter" whose job is to hunt the Gate Monsters.

Introduce me Raven Darkmoon a child of the Darkmoon family nobility, both parents died when I was 5 years old, I don't know the cause, but people say my parents died of age. I did not feel sad because I very rarely saw them, since my baby was taken care of by the maid in the mansion, I did not even know my own father's face.

I felt bad for my parents, even though they rarely met me but they always sent me letters, they always asked for my news and I always replied well. Someday I want to reduce my family's burden, a nobleman must do a lot of politics with other nobles or take care of his territory.

After the deaths of my parents, I was cared for by my father's right-handed knights, he had a very beautiful daughter, I don't know what happened to me, but I always felt nervous nearby. Her face was very pretty, she was like an angel because her hair was snow white, moreover she never seemed to hesitate against me, the beginning of my meeting she first greeted me.

"What's your name?" ask Ariana

"Raven Darkmoon, greetings" I said

"I'm Ariana, greetings. From today you will be my sister!" he said excitedly while smiling at me

I was fascinated by his smile, after the first meeting with him, he often took me on adventures out, even we often went to the forest together and practiced swords together. Long story short Ariana and I decided to become Gate Hunter because they want to feel the adventure more challenging.

When I was 16 years old, Ariana and I had officially become Gate Hunter, actually the requirement to become a Gate Hunter is quite easy, that a Gate Hunter must be in minimal groups with a witch and a knight, then register with the royal Guild and pass several stages of written and physical examinations.

For Gate Hunter missions can be done by directly going to the lair of Gate Hunter monsters then carrying which crystals that monsters have been defeated and give to the Guild, is very simple right? But it was less challenging for Raven and Ariana. Another way to get missions is to look at the bulletin board that contains a request to eradicate the types of Gate Hunter monsters specifically in a predetermined location.

One day Raven sees an interesting request stuck on the notice board to hunt down monsters that have entered the village residential area, the monsters are Giant Frogs, called Giant because the size of his body is larger than monsters in general, the height of these monsters is 2 times adults and has a distinctive voice, which is very powerful, these monsters are Gate Monsters that have the ability to stomp or even swallow their prey alive.

But that's not the case, in a clearly written report that there are unknown monsters also roaming around the settlement so that no group of Gate Hunter willing to take the mission.

"Ariana looks like I found a challenging mission!" raven said as he showed the report paper he took from the notice board

"Hemm let me see" Ariana replied glancing at the report paper

"Unknown monsters, sound challenging, let's take this mission" continued Ariana excited

Raven and Ariana immediately went to the location listed in the report, in the middle of their journey also eradicate the monsters they encountered. Before arriving to the location, Raven and Ariana decide to stop first to the lair of the Flame Wolf that Raven accidentally found.

"Ariana let's warm up before we go" said Raven prepared - ready with his horse

"May you too, Flame Wolf's nest huh? They have no resistance to fire element magic, are you sure?" ariana said she saw me worried

"Hahaha you're too worried about me, I won't lose to a weak monster like this" Raven replied confidently

It's not that I'm worried about Raven, it's just that she's a magician who needs distance when fighting whereas the Flame Wolf is a melee-type monster. But if he insists on not worrying I will believe him, after all if those monsters attack Raven I will directly protect him with my own life

Ariana came forward and became the main target of the Flame Wolf, she was attacked with a tube while Raven gave her attack and then retreated behind Ariana. The Flame Wolf were monsters that had the same physique as wolves in general, their fur was dark, their eyes were green and they had sharp bones between their front legs, their tails are also very sharp spikes, bones and spines that arise when they feel threatened.

Flame Wolf also usually lived in groups, which meant that there was a leader in the group.

"Ariana looks like her boss has appeared!" raven is excited

"Yes I see it, let's quickly finish these crocoes!" reply Ariana

"Okay, back off Ariana I'll use magic!"

I retreated to the back of Raven, seeing that he was focusing on casting magic area on the Flame Wolf. Raven is a genius child, I am proud to be standing next to her.

"The Gate Monsters feel my strongest magic attack!" said Raven

An enormous magic circle was formed between Raven's hands as she pointed it at Flame Wolf out an extremely strong wind accompanied by sparks that made a fire tornado that swept over as well as incinerating the Flame Wolf The remaining Flame Wolf.

"Whatis that? That's great!" ariana said spontaneously with admiration

"It was my strongest magic, I learned it lately, it's not great" Raven said proudly

"Is that so? you are too much Ariana" said Raven low

"That's why you want to warm up... To show me this magic huh?" ariana glanced at Raven

"Hehe"

Suddenly a Flame Wolf attacked Raven from behind by jumping and then wagging its tail, its tail could throw very sharp thorns, he said, Ariana who spontaneously saw him immediately pushed Raven and the attack even hit his face.

The attack from the Flame Wolf scratched Ariana's left cheek, some thorns still stuck to her neck.

"Ariana!!" raven shouted frantically, Raven immediately went up in black and glanced at the Flame Wolf that was hurting Ariana directly launched a magic attack on her

"Fire Punch!!" raven shouted aimed his punch at that Flame Wolf's head which left its head charred in flames and cut off from its body

"Are you okay, Ariana?" asked Raven with a sorry look

"I'm fine, just a scratch" replied Ariana as she stood up and pulled a small thorn from her neck

"Sorry.." said Raven bowed sadly.

"I'm fine, don't worry, other than that don't say the word 'sorry' but 'thank you' sounds better" Ariana smiled

I can't bear to see her grieving I have to protect her as a sister no matter what. She is my beloved sister whom I love.

"The battle is not over Raven, look ahead and don't worry about me" Ariana said

The downcast Raven sadly began to be relieved to hear Ariana was fine, but the feeling of anger towards the Flame Wolf reappeared making him look at the Flame Wolf leader cynically.

"Flame Wolf prepare yourself!!" shouted Raven

"Shadow Blaze" cried Raven

SLASH

The magic circle appeared on the left and right of Raven then let out a flame towards the top and formed a creature that was similar to her but made of fire. Quickly the shadow helped Raven attack

Raven?! why is he so angry? I'm not what Ariana thinks

"Fire Punch!!"

Flame Wolf's head dodged backwards but his attempt failed as Raven's fire shadow also dealt a blow. The Flame Wolf's chairman lost easily, but the special power of the Flame Wolf's chief would be used when he was dying

The weakly lying Flame Wolf Chief got up and turned bigger to 2 times his original size then his duration started to burn and turned into fire,  his breath let out fire until his thorn-filled tail turned into an extremely hot iron thorn.

"Raven!!" yell Ariana

"Curtain!" said Raven looking at the Flame Wolf's chairman

A fire element attack would be useless against the Flame Wolf, so no matter how powerful Raven attacked him would be in difficulty against the Flame Wolf chief who had used his special power.

"Go back, it's my turn!" yell Ariana

Raven retreated then Ariana advanced and charged at the Flame Wolf with her greatsword, Ariana swung her greatsword towards the Flame Wolf's chief, Ariana, but the attack was not hit because the Flame Wolf chief dodged it by jumping towards Ariana and wagging his tail

Ariana turned around with her greatsword and in the end the body of the Flame Wolf's chief was cut into two pieces.

Ariana returned to Raven, calm down this is just a warm-up as Raven said. The two of them continued on, due to the location being quite far from the Capital they might make it overnight, but Ariana and Raven decided to take a break tonight.
