Chapter 4.0: The Battle of Raven and Alfred

I walked through the fourth zone to the third zone, some fairies led the way there, before the fairy admitted that they could raise the dead, the dead, listening to that I was immediately blind to the situation and would do anything to make the fairy – fairy want to raise someone very valuable to me, I think I trust them too much.

After calming my mind, I ended up being suspicious of those – fairies who could have manipulated my brain and consciousness into just believing them.

“Give – little fairy anyone want me to ask” said Raven stopped walking

“What's up?” ask the fairies

Raven pulled her sword from the scabbard and prepared to attack the fairies.

“Where are you guys from? Whoareyou? What's your aim? Are you guys manipulating my mind so I can trust you guys?!” asked Raven looking at the fairies seriously

“Hah?” said one little elf

“Are you senile? Didn't I explain everything earlier!” said one of the fairies

The elf was furious while moving his body which seemed to be very upset, these elves were very similar to humans in general just that their size was very small, only 5 centi meters away. They also had wings on their backs, those wings were glowing bright white which signified they were good fairies.

“Since when?” raven was surprised

“Wait a minute, do you remember our name?” ask the Elves

Raven put in her sword again and was confused because she felt that the Elves had not given any explanation regarding themselves.

“We explained it when we first met!” the Fairy Words

“Basic human forgetfulness” says one of the Elves

“Introduce my name Lina, and the one beside me or the two-headed one is my sister, her name is Lini, and the long black-haired elf is the smallest sister, his name is Line” said a little Fairy named Lina

“Oke, who has the biggest chest is Lina, and pigtail hair two Line, and long black hair is Line, I will remember it.” Raven

“What? Ahem, I don't care how you remember us, but listen to this explanation seriously because I don't want to repeat it after this”

“Well, I will listen to it well” reply Raven nodded, Raven watched Lina closely.

“We are fairies from the protective forest, we are assigned to deliver a message to anyone who managed to conquer the dreamer monster alone” said Lina seriously “till here, there is something you want to ask?”

“Only? What does that mean?” ask Raven curiously

“Who do you call the dreamer monster? And what does it mean that you will deliver a message to the person who managed to defeat the dreamer monster alone? What if the one who defeated the monster was a group?” ask Raven

“The dreamer monster, or better known as Alter Dark Horse. And if there is a group that defeats the monster, we will kill all the members of the group and leave one strongest person. After all, the Alter Dark Horse could not be defeated if it were a group, because defeating the monster alone was simply impossible to do. That dreamer monster has the ability to make enemies think friends are enemies” Lina replied

“Manipulation of mind you mean?” said Raven

“Not, more than that, that monster can control Reality if there is a hatred inside a teammate. It is impossible to win against the monster if you two, because it is certain that your thoughts will be different from each other and instead strengthen the monster” said Lina

“I understand” said Raven

“Alright now I will deliver a message to the person who managed to defeat the dreamer monster. ‘hero save the princess from the cursed monster’ was a message from the Queen of Peri” said Lina

“Queen Peri? Her hero? Princess?” ask Raven

“Rather than explaining to you a second time this story, you better see it directly” said Lina flew holding Raven's head with her small hands, arrived – arrived a bright shining light.

Whatisthis? I saw a very bright light from the fairy. What the hell's going on?

I saw someone's memory...

I saw a King playing with his daughter, but then someone kidnapping his daughter made the King angry.

The enraged King meets a witch and then tells the witch to curse her daughter's captors so she can't walk again so the King can easily catch her, the witch obeyed the King's orders.

But the Princess kidnapper was cursed to be a dragon by a witch, because of that mistake the witch promised whoever saved the princess she would grant any request from the hero who managed to save the princess. The witch was the Queen herself.

I know the story is like made by a child – children, there are a lot of irregularities, but for now I just keep quiet, I'm silent, I pretended to believe Lina's story that was displayed on my memory.

“How do you understand?” ask Lina

I returned again from my memory, the last time I remembered was a fierce wingless dragon circling a princess who was in a golden cage, why did this fairy give such a cliche story? The story is similar as in the fairy tale – fairytale only.

“I want to make sure something” Raven said seriously

“What?” ask Lina

“Is it true that you can raise a dead soul? And how do you know that the request I want to ask is to raise someone?” asked Raven bowed

“It was easy done by our Queen, we the fairies can easily get information from alam” reply Lina

“Then prove it to me!” raven said with a serious look

Lina who saw that gaze seemed to see hope in Raven's very fragile eyes, Raven's eyes seemed to be crying but she held it back.

“Maybe, but before that you have to prove yourself worthy to accept the task of this hero” said Lina

“Hahaha are you challenging me? Fight with the gods alone I will not take a single step back if it is necessary to resurrect Ariana!” raven said arrogantly, his eyes turning bright blue lit up a sign he was very excited and impatient to fight the monster that captured the princess.

Afterwards me and the fairies continued their journey towards the third zone, at the border of the zone there was clearly a difference in air and atmosphere. The condition of the fourth zone that is already very scary when entering the third zone is even more creepy, the tree – trees there look red – red, loose, there were even some that were burned by the smoldering red flames.

This third zone has never been explored by anyone, I was the first one to set foot here, somehow the atmosphere in this third zone is very hot, me and the fairies rested after walking quite a distance into the third zone, when I woke up from my sleep I no longer saw them, but it was just calm that I had marked them with my black shadow, at least I know that they just stay away from me and don't leave me.

I walked further and saw a tree that looked very conspicuous, it was very large with its trunk burned by the burning red flames, after I looked more closely it was not burned, even the fire came out of the tree, the tree has a height of approximately 10 meters with a trunk width of 2 meters, the tree had no leaves only stems and branches that were burned by the fire as if it were the leaves of the tree.

Suddenly there was a tree trunk thrown at me, but luckily I was able to dodge it by reflexively flying upwards with wind magic, I turned towards the throw and saw a bare-chested man with blood-red black skin, he had devil-like horns, and had gela-colored wings on his back, he said, his shoulders were burned by fire and his palms were the same.

She looked towards me, after I noticed the good – well, her eyes were also burnt by fire, even her hair which I thought was wavy turned out to be a fire that looked like hair, she said, I am not rash in this situation because he is a true monster gate – is new, there is no information from the guild about him, it is only natural that I found him first here.

“Who are you! Why are you attacking me!” I said it out loud to him, because he looked like a demon so I thought he could talk.

“Man? Great also you can speak the language of the devil, what because of the ability of the dreamer monster, whatever it is you are a polite human ya” said the Devil while greeting by lowering his head

“What do you mean? I asked who are you?” said Raven

“I have fought many people, and only the first time there is a human who asked who I am without finishing his weapons to me” said the Devil “introduce me is the Demon King general, Alfred! Violin-”

“Wait a while I haven't finished speaking, my name is Alfred Volingard Hysmon Dark-“ again the word Devil was cut by Raven

“Are you the monster that the fairies said as my test?” ask Raven

“I took my word earlier, you are a very insensitive human being, don't cut my name!” said the Devil was upset, “Do you know those fairies? That means you deserve to die” said the Devil who arrived – suddenly turned very angry.

The demon took out a fireball from both of his hands then fused it together making a larger fireball, then threw it towards Raven at an extremely fast speed. Unable to dodge, Raven was forced to endure it with a fire attack of hers, but she failed because the attack was too powerful. Raven received the injury but it was not too severe because she was only hit by a small part of the fireball.

“Hahahaha let me make sure one thing demon general” Raven breathes “What is the ruler of this zone?” ask Raven

“True, I am the keeper of this region” Alfred said

“Final stage physical reinforcement, all in!” raven said, now his body gave off a sparkling golden-coloured aura

“Shadow blaze!” said Raven, several shadows of Raven fire appeared in front of him with a sword of fire, the shadow of the fire was blue signifying its power that doubled as the quality of mana that Raven possessed increased greatly.

“What is it, hahaha you are interesting also human. Give me some exciting entertainment!” alfred

Raven's shadow of fire attacked Alfred with their own thoughts, they surrounded Alfred from various directions and then attacked alternately. While Raven tries to think of making a plan to defeat Alfred.

The basic elements that I have are fire and wind while that demon has the fire element, hmm I believe he has resistance to fire, what should I do?

While Raven was thinking, Alfred was fighting against Raven's fire shadow casually, Alfred had long since no guests arrived so he wanted to fight Raven slowly – while enjoying it.

Alfred attacked some of the shadows of the fire with his kick and instantly they died. However they slowly bounced back from the still-living shadow of the flame, the shadow of the flame split apart and attacked Alfred again but this time they attacked with a different pattern.

Some shadows of flames advanced while others threw their weapons at random thus closing the way for Alfred to move into place. This strategy worked, exposing Alfred to one of the swords from the shadow of fire.

“Great also this creature, you can read the movement before his” said Alfred happily “well I am tired of you” said Alfred with a smile

With the ease of Alfred attacking the shadow of Raven's fire with his feet, the shadow of the fire was not left, Alfred came walking closer to Raven, he said, casually he made fireballs on both his hands then threw them towards Raven.

Raven did not have time to dodge as she was planning something in her mind, but the fireball from Alfred did not give any impact because of Raven's body which had very high resistance thanks to the late stage physical strengthening magic. Raven was so focused that closing her eyes, she knew Alfred's attack was going to be even more dangerous but she had to stay focused.

“What a human being! Have you given up” said Alfred

Raven was silent as if ignoring Alfred, several times Alfred attacked Raven with his fireball but the attack did not leave any traces on Raven's body, but the attack did not leave any traces on Raven's body, Alfred could have killed Raven right then and there but since he had not fought for a long time Alfred was a little relaxed.

“Are you trying to pull out your ultimate move? Looks interesting! Alright I will wait for you humans!” alfred said in front of Raven

Alfred standing right in front of Raven survived for a while, when Raven opened his eyes he saw the demon from very close making him very frightened, but Raven held it deep in fear by way of his evil smile.

“Alfred get ready to die!” said Raven

“Hahaha where is your ultimate attack? I won't avoid it!” alfred said with glaring eyes looking at Raven with curiosity

“Inferno Dragon!” said Raven while flying upwards

A fire dragon with a height of 10 meters more had been successfully created by Raven with his fire magic, the fire dragon had a very deadly fire breath, the fire dragon was fiery red in color. With very large wings, while flapping his wings to fly, Alfred felt a very strong wind that he had to set his feet stronger until – until the ground cracked.

“Great once!” said Alfred “I admit you are human, in your honor I will fight this dragon with both hands and feet that I have!” alfred

“Black Dragon!” said Raven

Appearing a dragon again but different from before this dragon has a dark color because it is a form of magic from Reality Hack that Raven has activated before.

“What a good human being!” alfred

The two dragons flying near Raven then spewed a breath of very hot fire towards Alfred, with Alfred casually receiving the attack he did not even intend to dodge the attack at all.

“Hahaha middling” said Alfred who was slightly injured by the fire breath attack

Raven darted towards Alfred while preparing to slash Alfred's head with his sword, Alfred remained motionless and was hit by the attack but Raven's sword melted due to Alfred's extremely hot neck.

“Do you have the ultimate magic of another human?” alfred said with a smile

“Tcih, don't underestimate me!” raven said with cynical eyes

I attacked him from the front with a fireball, then jumped to attack his back with a fireball, but it was useless that he really intended to receive all my attacks, I tried another attack with wind magic, I tried another attack with wind magic, I slashed his head with wind magic and several times attacked him with wind and fire combined magic but for nothing, I could not defeat him!

“The attacks of fire and wind will not work on me man” Alfred said

Raven ran towards Alfred and tried to hit him with Puch Fire magic that concentrated the heat of the fire into Raven's hand then inserted it into the object that Raven struck. Raven's hand bounced off like a powerful iron, having spent so much on the attack and energy that Raven finally retreated and allowed both of her dragons to attack Alfred.

She's so tough, so obvious is the difference in strength between the two of us, can I beat her Ariana? Can I save you? Suddenly I saw the shadow of Ariana smiling at me as if she was giving me the strength to rise from this defeat.

Meanwhile Alfred defeated the fire dragon and the black dragon belonging to Raven with a single crushing blow. Alfred walked up to Raven then he darted very fast and hit Raven's stomach, causing Raven to vomit blood and slam very far into the largest tree there.

“You are very strong, but I will still win!” raven said arrogantly

“Hahaha bullshit, already battered as soon as you are still talking cocky” said Alfred

“Let's attack me with the strongest attack you have” said Raven

“Alright, but with a little intensity I can kill you” Alfred said

Alfred made an enormous fireball over his head, then he threw it towards Raven, Raven smiled slightly, he had paired several shadow blazes hiding around the largest tree.

“Because of you!” raven said with a smile

Raven only strengthened the fire element's resistance on her body, while a black hand trapped Alfred from being able to move for some time, Raven was hit by a severe burn, partially burned, he ran very fast towards Alfred while carrying some fragments of Alfred's fire, Raven hit Alfred with his own fire, the attack incapacitated Alfred until he could no longer stand.

Raven ran very fast away from Alfred because the enormous tree was about to fall due to the explosion of the shadow blaze and Alfred's strongest fireball attack. Raven saw Alfred who was struck by the tree feeling that Alfred had lost. But it turns out that Raven was wrong because – arrived just a very large explosion occurred making Raven surprised.

“What happened?” said Raven

Alfred quickly caught Raven and then strangled Raven very hard.

“Great man, I did not expect you to know my weak weakness against my own fire element, I have underestimated you man, you can even break one of my hands” said Alfred

Alfred's left hand was sacrificed to make an explosion that gave him time to escape, if alfred was hit by the tree it was certain he would die because the elements contained in the tree were his own fire.

Shit am I gonna die here? Though I've fought very hard, it turns out that there is something stronger than what I imagined, Ariana I will soon catch up with you, wait for me. When Alfred strangled my neck and lifted it into the air, I closed my eyes for the last time and saw the little elf come to talk to Alfred, as if they were begging Alfred to forgive me, damn if I am given another chance then I will not be reckless anymore in facing the enemy, I desperately need strength! I want strength!
