THE UNDERGROUND CITY*

The Great Ruler robot worm moves in the ground. However, there was a difference with the previous route.

"Great Ruler's robotic worms are allowed in" said an officer connected to a radio call connected to the robot worm's communications network.

Matteo seemed amazed as this was the first time he had entered the Baatar state where the Gobi worms were once kept.

"Your worm form is different. Can he be put in without damaging the tunnel?" asked the man from Baatar to look at Matteo.

"Yes, can. Our worm skin can crawl like a real worm. But maybe, it will scratch the floor a little bit and damage the large cable that dangles it" replied Matteo grimacing.

"In that case, we'll just put it in. Turn off the engine" the man and Colonel Brego immediately turned off the robot worm's propulsion machine.

From the bottom like a drain covered by a series of iron, a gust of wind appeared like a wave from the iron cracks.

The worm of Great Ruler's creation lifted up and floated slowly into the long hallway like there was a driving engine that moved.

The body of the worm robot was shaken. Matteo saw that the upper part of the tunnel caught the body of the worm robot and made the lower part not touch the floor.

The people who were in the worm robot came out one by one. It turns out there's a hatch door along the hallway. Khan invited guests from countries considered enemies to enter.

Matteo and his men looked nervous as they walked down the hallway and climbed many stairs when they saw an elevator nearby.

Khan seemed to deliberately bring his guests to exercise that afternoon I don't know what it means. The stairs are quite a lot and winding.

There are many corridors, stairs up and down. Matteo and his men entered a labyrinth in the ground until the people of the Great Ruler saw a bright light from the door hole going nowhere.

Looked like a fortress protecting a city or something in there. An officer was preparing for a ship.

Matteo was asked to board the ship with others including Khan. For the first time, the Great Ruler people boarded an ancient wooden boat.

Matteo even dipped his hand to feel the water that was inundated in that huge pool. Instantly, his smile grew.

"Open the gate!" shouted Khan's men who were on the front deck of the ship with long-barreled rifles in their grasp.

Matteo was again amazed when the great gate opened. Apparently, the overflow of water where they boarded the boat, made a kind of waterfall to irrigate the settlement below.

There are several large water pipes that enter into the wall gap as it is used to irrigate the surrounding settlements.

A small dock stopped the boat. Matteo went down with the others following Khan as the leader of the road.

Khan stood on the edge of a sturdy stone fence while showing his underground city. Matteo and others did not expect if underground there is a place that is quite beautiful to live.

Seen a city with many tall buildings towering inside the large cave. Crowds of people were seen busy among tents like a market, similar to District 10 before it was overhauled for Sandra's idea.

Benjamin gave his power to Titan because he felt that, if the Curva was indeed the real leader of the country," Matteo replied steadily, to Khan's surprise including his people.

"really?" khan asked ascertained, and everyone from Great Ruler nodded confirming.

Khan smiled faintly. It was like seeing hope in front of his eyes. Khan stood up and held a strong stone fence that was at the top of the large cave while looking down, where the population is busy activities like not realizing the existence of the leader who always watches and protects them.

"Finally ... Baatar will come to the surface" he said with a smile and followed by others.
