KCN~ CHAPTER 33

"Just because Mama didn't approve of your marriage and Kania, you had the heart to tell her that your Mama is mentally ill. Too bad for you, Farhan!" Sarah's mother said with trembling lips. If only someone else had said that it probably wouldn't have hurt this much.

"What's so great about that woman that you forget yourself like this, huh?"

Farhan was unable to answer anything. Really, he regretted what he said at the time. At that time he felt desperate because of Kania and her family who continued to question her mother's absence from the beginning of the proposal until the wedding day. Because it is impossible to say if his mother does not give his blessing then there is no other choice but to say that his mother has a psychiatric disorder in order for the marriage with Kania not to be canceled.

"I'm sorry, Ma." That was all Farhan could say. His body fell to the floor in front of his mother.

However, Sarah's mother regressed her steps as Farhan moved forward about to hug both her legs.

"Go from here, go home to your new wife and never come here again!" Said Sarah's mother by shouting while pointing towards the door of her room that was not tightly closed. Her tears fell down her cheeks.

From the beginning he was already hurt by Farhan's decision to remarry, and now his heartache is growing over the words of his son who said he had a psychiatric disorder just because he did not get his blessing.

"I'm sorry, Ma. I'm so sorry, I beg you to forgive me." Farhan clenched his hands together pleading with his mother. His eyes were glazed over, and he regretted what he said at that moment. If he had known from the beginning that Kania had betrayed him, he would not have taken her into his life and wasted two very precious women in his life all this time.

"Your regret is of no use anymore, Farhan. You not only hurt Nada but you also hurt Mama. Even you have disappointed your late Papa!" Sarah's mother said with tears.

Same with Farhan. His tears were flowing without a sound. He cursed himself who made his mother cry. He knows his apologies and regrets will not be able to restore everything as before.

Everything he had broken just because of his desire to have a woman he loved so much that he was willing to wait a long time, but all he found was a deep disappointment. Her years of waiting for her lover to return, returned with betrayal.

"I beg your pardon, Ma. I promise I'll fix everything." Farhan said stammeredly as he held back his sobs.

"There's nothing else you need to fix, Mama just wants you to end your relationship with Nada well and after that Mama will find a much better man than you for Nada." Mama Sarah said.

"Ma, please don't do that. I want to fix my household with Nada. I'm really sorry I wasted him." Farhan said pleading.

But Sarah's mother didn't feel any pity. He stepped forward to Farhan and pulled his son's hand, like a child, out of his room.
