SINDOORAH PROPHECY

SINDOORAH PROPHECY
TALK OR CRY

“Commander, he'll kill me!”

“Silent or I will crush your face, Nina!”

There was a commotion in the dining room when Nina pointed the gun that Commander Gerald had passed to Olivia. Her father-in-law spontaneously raised both hands while whining in fear for the police commander's help, while Naomi across from Nina had taken a stand to launch an attack.

Commander Gerald was quite impressed by the unexpected turn of events. The least he expected was of course Nina's movement speed which was almost like magic. He underestimated the woman behind his petite and frail body. Then, Nina's decision to directly bully Olivia with a weapon, wasn't too surprising to her.

“Nina can't be serious, Mrs Olivia. It's just a game. He's definitely not stupid to know that the gun is empty, is he?”

“A-what?” Olivia and Naomi turn to Commander Gerald with admirable uniformity.

“I can't possibly hand over a loaded gun to use as a tool in the game. I'm a cop, not a butcher. Anyway, why do you think Nina will kill you, Mrs Olivia? Isn't he your daughter-in-law? And you, Miss Naomi. Your reaction is too threatening for someone you have known and lived with for years. Is there something in Nina that you consider to be endangering yourself?”

“Your Honorable Police Commander, you are really not funny!” Naomi cursed at the commander still in a position ready to attack Nina.

“This game has not even started yet, but I already have many questions for the three of you, Madam and Miss.”

Among her in-laws and sisters-in-law who were in great shock, only Nina felt light listening to Commander Gerald's explanation earlier. He was still pointing a gun at Olivia who slowly lowered his hand and re-enforced himself on the chair arrogantly. Meanwhile, Naomi slumped to her seat in doubtful motion, but had no choice. The girl looks like she can kick the table at any time if the situation gets completely under control. However, her head could have been hit first - suppose Nina was smart or the gun was contained ….

“Can I start, Mr Chief Detective?” nina asked Commander Gerald without moving or taking her eyes off Olivia.

“Of course, Mrs Nina. Please.”

Both corners of Nina's lips were drawn wide and in her in-laws' eyes, her attitude was brazen. “Mami Olivia Ricci.” Nina called out her father-in-law's name in full. “The night before Nolan left, what are you planning?” Nina actually already knew everything her husband and her husband's family planned, but Nina intended to test her in-laws while providing bait to uncover the woman's alibi in front of Commander Gerald.

“What are you talking about? Bullshit!” Olivia immediately regretted saying that sentence because it invited a sharp delicacy full of suspicion from the police commander opposite her. He gave an answer that he thought was safe.

“Nolan ... leave you at Mami.”

Olivia wasn't lying, but the statement wasn't a secret anymore for Nina because Nolan said it clearly in front of them and Nina at dinner. Nina was completely untouched by something she knew was wrapped in a lie. He knew exactly what Olivia, Naomi, and Nolan were in love with that night. However, Olivia seems to have forgotten something important, until Commander Gerald moves from his seat to approach Nina, then grabs Nina's hand to retrieve her weapon. Of course Nina handed it over voluntarily. He doesn't need a weapon to scare anyone, not even to harm someone because all he needs is one blink of an eye. Nina simply thanked him as a formality when her gaze met the police commander.

“Game done? That all?” naomi asked in disbelief, but her eyes immediately widened when she remembered something. Olivia still didn't realize it until that moment.

“It ...” Olivia is suffocating as Naomi tries not to glare at her mother from a distance. The girl couldn't kick the mother's foot under the table to avoid mispronouncing. Olivia immediately remembered her promise to Nolan not to involve the son and to settle all affairs here.

If there wasn't a commander of this damn cop! Olivia looked bitterly at the man opposite her. The business of clearing up Nina's whereabouts became more complicated due to Commander Gerald's interference.

“Mrs.” Commander Gerald furrowed his thick brows and could be seen from Olivia's position.

“Why does my question sound so hard to answer? It's just a personal question with no tendency. Your son is the husband of Madam Nina. It is only natural that he knows of the accident that befell his wife.”

“My brother is meeting with my relatives for a very important affair, Police Officer! We'll just let him know after the business there is done!” At that crucial moment, Naomi spoke more firmly than Olivia who put on a face as if she was going to cry because she was cornered. His mother had a brilliant idea, but it was Naomi who always cleaned up every mess.

“Urusan Nyonya Nina is also important.”

“Isn't that enough if you take care of it? You're a cop, aren't you? That's already your job.”

“This case has been closed by Mrs Nina, unfortunately. So, I won't do anything until Mrs Nina herself changes her mind.”

Olivia and Naomi's remorse soon turned to their family's daughter-in-law. They gestured intimidation towards Nina, but it just felt irony right now. The usual weak Nina, was now suddenly strong by the support of someone strong with her.

Only, Olivia and Naomi do not know the fact who is the mastermind behind the power possessed by Nina now. Nina smiled triumphantly. It's a little unfair for Commander Gerald to be kind and caring about him. But, really. The commander was just a pawn to achieve his goal. After all, the figure of the man could not be removed just like that. Near Commander Gerald, Nina is like Sindoorah in a rabbit figure. Dangerous, but not threatening. Nina also wanted to prove a small warning from Sindoorah.

Suddenly, Commander Gerald pointed the gun he was holding toward Nina. But earlier, the man filled his gun with bullet droplets and pulled a cock. The movement is so agile and fast that it is barely noticed in a few seconds. Nina's life now depends on one of Commander Gerald's index fingers ready on the trigger.

“Truth or dare. Which one do you choose, Madam?”

Nina smiled. Chilly. Nina did not know the police's heart, so she had to be on guard for her safety. The way the commander played around with her was not at all funny when compared to what happened to Olivia and Naomi before. So, he sends a signal to the ghosts to perform a magical attack on Commander Gerald and disarm the gun in his hand.

Commander Gerald is then ganged up on by unsuspecting ghosts from various departments. However, as the ghosts approached the man, their attacks all deflated like they were hit by an invisible shield and the astral beings bounced off in all directions. Commander Gerald only felt a sensation like a gust of wind snatching at the nape of the neck that he ignored because the focus of his attention was now fixed on an imaginary point, right in the middle of Nina's forehead.

Damnit. This man is not affected by the power of Sindoorah.
