The blue sky above them was suddenly cloudy and dewy. The wind was blowing even louder, waving Nina's long black hair wildly. The woman's bright brown eyes seemed to become dark in a gray atmosphere. A moment later, lightning struck. The hill. The lightning seemed to be aiming for the one point that Commander Gerald realized was the position Nina was in. The earthy thunder sounded so close and terrible if observed from the top of the hill. This must not be a coincidence. The woman was now surrounded by a circle whose eye of attack centered on Nina.
“Nina!” commander Gerald shouted anxiously when he saw Nina surrounded by lightning troops from the sky.
However, Nina was unmoved in her place. Those streaks of lightning just grabbed around Nina, as if there was a invisible shield protecting her. Then, the atmosphere suddenly quieted. The lightning disappeared, leaving a trail of burnt grass in a circular shape with Nina at its center.
“Sials. Just now, what happened?” Commander Gerald's mind was filled with questions. With one intuitive push, he rushed up to Nina and pulled the woman in his arms.
Something is wrong, Nina thought after her face hit the chest of the man's field. The masculine scent instantly poisoned his sense of smell. Last night, this guy stole her kiss, and now hugs her?
Nina immediately encourages Commander Gerald to break away from her. However, the man did not want to let go. So, Nina also exerted her energy to the commander so that the man jolted backwards several meters away. Commander Gerald's face was aghast when Nina did it.
“Stop treating me like a weak woman, Mr. Chief Detective. Your thoughts about me all this time are wrong!”
The man got up and got up swiftly. He was now acting alert as if to keep his distance and build a defensive fortress instinctively. "Who are you, Mrs Nina?"
Nina laughed at the question.
"Truth or dare we're done last night. Why do you like to repeat games, anyway?"
"I beg you, don't play with the police, ma'am."
"Have you forgotten that last night you had been playing with your suspect's own wife, Mr Chief Detective?"
"Aragh!" Gerald yelled in annoyance. "All right! I admit that last night you lost your mind because you were so manipulative and interesting! Satisfied?" Gerald took a step, then stopped outside the circle of burning grass and crossed without letting go of Nina's gaze for a moment. "Now, back to our original purpose here. You must have had a reason behind the retraction of the report you had done on the phone the other day! You also need not be surprised by my reaction. According to my guess, you are affiliated with an evil force that makes you now powerful. Supernaturally."
Nina's eyebrows shot up as her eyes widened. Commander Gerald chuckled back.
"Not only you have secrets, Mrs Nina."
Damnit damnit! Nina wished her heart reading ability back now.
"If I don't want to tell you?" challenge that woman.
"I'll force."
"Accept ...." Nina's head tilted to the side with limp shoulders as she let out a tired sigh, as if peeking at the man before her. "Try it!" Suddenly, his right hand was raised, then the ground beneath Commander Gerald's feet rose rapidly to overturn the commander.
Gerald's flying.
Exactly, the man salted in the air twice a round, then landed smoothly a few steps away. Nina successfully flabbergasted. Not expecting if the commander who looks stiff it turns as light as feathers and pliable.
"No need to show off, Mr. Detective Chief. I won't be impressed."
"You misunderstood, Madam. That's a reflex."
Nina could feel the blood in her veins rustling because she felt being played with. His lips twitched so upset. Especially watching the serious expression on the man's face as if they were discussing rides or sports.
Wait for. Doesn't he have a heart now? Why does he feel upset? Especially when I hear what Commander Gerald has to say. "It seems that you are allied with a source of power that comes from the ground. Ah, yes," Commander Gerald scaled back and scratched his chin with his index finger to judge, "that explains why you survived after falling in the hole, as well as the strength you have now. The question ... What is the name of the demon that has already bestowed upon you this curse, Madame Nina?"
"I don't feel cursed, Mr. Detective Chief. I feel reborn and it feels amazing!"
"Mrs ..., you don't know what consequences you'll receive if you keep using this power."
"You're threatening me?" Nina inflamed. His heart had no control over fear. Commander Gerald's headband further incited his anger. "Whatever covenant you have made, the Devil is bound to take advantage of your weaknesses for a greater purpose that you are not aware of."
"Shut up, Commander! You're making me lose my patience!" Takkasatmata energy enveloped Nina's body. His long hair fluttered in all directions until his face was like being caught in a storm ball. Nina showed signs of being ready to attack.
"Consequences? Just ask that to my besan!"
"Is this about revenge?"
Nina was silent, though Commander Gerald shouted for her unanswered self while raising similar questions. Instead, the energy centered on Nina's head moved down to her feet to create a vortex of dried grass around her.
"I don't want to beat around the bush anymore. Last chance for you, Mrs Nina. What is the name of the demon that has given you the power so that we can trace its trail."
"Then?"
"We broke your bond with her."
"No!"

Nina couldn't stop this fast. Commander Gerald's threat does not make his guts shrunk. She's not the cowardly Nina Ricci who must have run in a storm. The past has handed over the baton to the future that Nina has neatly arranged.
He will go home, forget what happened on the hill, then continue to live in Ricci's villa for revenge.
But before that, Nina had to subdue the formidable police commander in front of her. Nina stretched her arm muscles until she heard a crunching noise like a crunchy potato every time she bent a joint.
Nina combed her brunnette long hair that had fallen apart and cut down the skirt on her knees littered with scorched grass, then walked with a charming bend towards Commander Gerald.
Nina put one hand on her waist. The other one had landed in front of a shiny leather coat without being anticipated by the man. Presumably, don't mind. "How about we establish mutual symbiosis, Mr Chief Detective?"
"You're trying to seduce me, madam?" Commander Gerald brushed Nina's hand off her body smoothly. Still the sweet smile on that tiny face again made her fall in charm.
"Please try another day, ma'am. After I met your husband first."
"Haha, you're so stiff, anyway?" Nina hit the man's body. Then the ears of Commander Gerald seemed vertical when he heard the sound of clattering familiar. Know-how, his hands have been handcuffed behind the body.
"H-hey!"
"You'd better get home, sir. It's cold here when night falls. Didn't you?" Nina blinked before turning around with her hair fluttering beautifully. A few steps without being chased, the woman was lost in a hole that suddenly appeared on the ground. Then, his tracks disappeared without a trace.
