Evelyn opened her eyes and she was shocked when she found herself in a simple hut that was in the forest and away from the crowd.

" O God, where am I?" evelyn said as she held her head that felt dizzy and heavy.

There was Evelyn who was coughing with great torment.

" You're up? Thank goodness you were conscious. Do you know what? You fainted for more than 3 days. You really freaked me out. Because I thought that I couldn't save you!" said a man who suddenly stood before Evelyn who looked confused.

" You who? Why are you in front of me? Where am I?" evelyn asked in a daze as she looked at the man question markingly.

" I found you passed out in the river while I was fishing!" the man said as he looked at Evelyn with admiration.

" My name is Evelyn. What's yourname?" evelyn asked the man who had saved her.

For a moment Evelyn seemed to see something in her shadow. About someone pushing him into a lake. So that makes it must be stranded in the middle of the forest with a foreign man.

" My name is Raymon. You can call me Ray!" said the simple man who looks earthy and typical of humans who live in a remote village.

" Thank you for saving my life and I'm sorry for bothering you!" evelyn was seen in front of the man.

" It's okay you can stay here if you want. Worry not! I just live alone I already have no family in this world!" raymon said as he looked at Evelyn who started trying to sit down.

" Thank you for your kindness. We just met but you've already bestowed so much kindness on me!" evelyn said with a smile to Raymond who brought her food.

" Eat this sweet potato first so that it can prop up your hungry stomach! I'm sorry that I can only give you food like this!" said Raymond, lowering his head.

" It's okay you saved me, I'm so grateful. I can eat anything as long as it's halal and healthy for me!" evelyn tries to make Raymond comfortable with his presence in the house.

" Well, you eat first. I'll get you some clothes for the city. You must have suffered so much by wearing your very dirty and ragged clothes!" raymon looked at Evelyn.

" Does getting from here to town take a long time?" evelyn asked hesitantly.

" It usually takes me 8 hours round trip to get to the city on foot!" raymond told Evelyn.

" Geez, that's far away! You don't have to take care of my clothes. I can wear any clothes as long as I can cover my body!" evelyn said she felt hesitant to trouble Raymon.

" It's okay that I also want to buy some of the necessities I need for you to be able to settle down in my hut!" raymond smiled at Evelyn.

" I feel ashamed of you for bothering you!" evelyn blushed.

" Thank you for helping me!" Evelyn then tried to get up from her bed.

" You just sleep! Rested. Your body is still weak right now. Yesterday I called the doctor to check on you. Fortunately, there was a doctor who was passing by in the village next door. So that I can ask her for help to check on you!" remon said as he looked at Evelyn.

" Do you know? The doctor who examined you. You're very lucky. Because you're alive to this day. In your stomach there is so much water that you drink. Looks like you've been in the river for a long time. Even you passed out for 3 days in this house!" raymond explained to Evelyn about the situation and the health condition of her body.

" All I remember is someone pushing me into the lake and maybe he really wants me dead!" evelyn bowed in lethargy at the thought of her life.

" That's it! Don't think about everything that's happened. You stay here until your health is restored. If someday you want to go back to your house, I'll take you!" raymon said as he got up from his seat and prepared to go to the city.

" Be careful on the road. If your trip to the city 8 hours round trip. Does that mean you're going home tonight?" evelyn asked with a worried tone.

" Let's just hope I find someone who uses a motorcycle to the city and I can ride with him. Then I can go home quickly!" raymond said with a smile to Evelyn.

" Hopefully! I pray you meet the bike and get back here quickly?" Evelyn.

" Well, I'll go first, okay?" Raymond then left Evelyn alone in his own house which was only a shack built by Raymond himself.

Simple house made of bamboo slats arranged in such a way. Thus forming a tight wall and also roofed rumbia that seems to be woven by Raymon himself.

Evelyn continued to look around the house and she felt so astonished at a Raymond who could live in such an incredible simplicity.

But Evelyn did not see the sadness on Raymond's face as Raymond looked so happy and radiant.

While waiting for Raymond. Evelyn helped out with the work that was in that house. Starting from cooking, washing dishes, cleaning the house and also washing clothes Raymond lying in the room that seems to be used for emergency bathrooms by Raymond.

Everything was simple and emergency in the room. It didn't make Evelyn suffer at all. But he felt an incredible calm that he had never had during his stay in the city with Tara or Zaki.

Meanwhile, at Zaki's residence. Zaki seems to be starting to be confused to find the whereabouts of Evelyn who has not returned home for a week.

At first Zaki felt suspicious of Surya or Damian who had taken his wife away. But he saw that they both seemed busy looking for his wife's whereabouts. Zaki orders Surya to search for Evelyn.
