Sometimes Friends are the Enemy
Part 9's. Sports

So the next day, Linda and Tuti go to school early. Then, for the sake of the food treat they will get every day, they also meet one by one their classmates who have arrived. Then they told them not to bully Betty again.

At first no one wanted to obey him. But because Linda and Tuti promised something fun, they finally agreed. Betty had not yet arrived at school. So Tuti and Linda can freely influence her friends.

As for Betty, because she still doubts whether her friends will not mock her anymore or not. He was slow in packing so much that his grandmother lured in a spicy comment again.

Until Betty gets out of her house, her grandmother won't stop nagging.

Then when he had already reached the school gate, he steadied his heart a second time, and mentally prepared him for any ridicule and laughter his friends might spew later. So, starting from the gate, to the front of the classroom door, he walked down. Until he sat on his bench.

A student sitting in the back called out to him. Betty was afraid to look back. Because he thought, he must have called out just to mock her. So he just kept quiet and did not say it many times. The student came up to him and said,

"Hey Betty, where were you last night? Why don't you come in? Miss Lyra is looking for you. You know you're his favorite student? The mother gave the group a task. And we're a group. Its material. Learn it first. You're good at English. Teach me well.

We have five people in one group. Me, you, Nita, Ira, and Susi."

"OKs. Thanks yah. I'll learn later. And just calm down. I must have taught you to."

"alright. I'm back, yeah."

Then after the schoolgirl returned to her stool, Betty observed all her friends. And he wondered why all his friends remained calm. Those were the last seconds before the teacher came to the classroom.

A few moments later, their beloved teacher arrived. He is a sports teacher. Teachers are usually most liked by students. He is single and friendly. Usually the teacher will tell a short story before finally sending all students to the field.

That morning, the teacher asked his students a question. And that's not what he usually does. Because normally, he would only explain the subject matter before going to the field. That morning he asked the students who were sitting in the upper second grade. He asked what their goals were. The students answered it in turn. All the students and the teacher, seemed ordinary to listen to their ideals. But at the turn of the last student, immediately the classroom atmosphere became boisterous because listening to the ideals of the last student. How not? The student replied that he wanted to disappear. All the students laughed and the teacher was confused. Thus, there were some students who were making derisive comments from behind. They said,

"Well already! Disappear you from the face of the earth hahaha..."

Others say, "Bim sala Bim. the Toni disappeared, and stuck in the sprout toge behind the teacher's house. Haha..."

"And the others scoffed, "Friends! You see that Toni? He has disappeared! It disappeared!"

So the teacher quickly acted to calm the increasingly boisterous atmosphere, then asked Toni, the quiet student in the classroom. The teacher said,

"Don't be kidding Toni. What ideals?"

"I actually want to fly sir." Answer innocently.

And again, the answer made all the students in the class laugh out loud.

"Hey! It's already! Already!" Said the teacher firmly. Then he continued,

"What do you mean, Toni? You have no wings. How can you fly? Or do you want to create a wing driven by an engine and fly? That's how you mean?" Ask the teacher in curiosity.

"Sir, I want to be a flight attendant so I can fly."

Hearing that, his friends again laughed and mocked. One of them said,

"Hey Ton, you're a man. When did you want to be a flight attendant? There-there's aja. Sir hasn't eaten the medicine maybe Toni. The answer was strange."

"Hey! It's already! It's already!

You guys are always making a noise.

Shut up and listen to your friends!" Said the teacher firmly.

Then he approached Toni and asked gently. He was worried, the answer that had been wrong was his slightly disturbed soul. The teacher thought that the mental of the students was disturbed. So he asked Toni gently again.

"Toni, maybe you mean steward, right? Maybe you just mispronounced it. Don't you?"

"Yes sir." The answer is doubtful and down.

"Oh, that's good! So, so that you can be a steward later, you must be diligent in learning well. Especially learning a foreign language."

"Sir, he's very good at foreign languages. When he speaks, it is like drinking water. Very smooth sir." Said one of the students.

"Oh, that's good. Keep improving yah." Reply to the teacher while gently patting Toni's shoulder. Then he said again,

"Well already! You're prepped! Change your clothes! in 10 minutes you should be on the Volleyball court. You wait there."

The teacher immediately left. But he still thought about his student Toni. He hoped his suspicions were not true. Because as long as he taught in that class, he always saw Toni silent and aloof. He rarely hangs out with his friends. Especially for female students.

Then on the field, the teacher told one by one students to hit the Volleyball to pass the net. And almost all of them managed to do it. Then the teacher began to select some of the superior male students and told them to compete. While others, some play badminton, table tennis, and soccer takraw.

But the teacher this time is more focused on students who are playing Volleyball. Because the principal asked him to choose some reliable students to compete between schools at the district level.

The teacher was busy calculating the number of scores that each group had obtained. But before long, suddenly his gaze was diverted to Toni who was busy reading books and sitting alone on the sidelines. So the teacher approached him to see what book he was reading. And, to her surprise, seeing Toni read a women's magazine. Its contents about lifestyle, cuisine, make up, also various trinkets about women. The teacher asked him, then,

"Where did you get this magazine Ton? And why did you take her to school? Isn't this forbidden?"

Toni did not dare to answer him and just bowed in fear. While the teacher who felt sorry and suspicious of him, did not scold him. But gently advised him to keep the magazine back and then return to the field for sport.
