A very glare light hit the eyes of a young boy who was fast asleep. Because of that light, he woke up.
"Ugh, glare." Aldrich reflexively closed his eyes with his hands. But when he opened it again, he saw someone smiling kindly at him.
Aldrich was shocked to death. Because that guy is... Her mother's.
"Good morning, baby. Let's get up."
"Y-mother?!"
"Aldrich!!!"
The screams of others shocked Aldrich. He really opened his eyes now.
"Thank God you wake up too Al."
Aldrich's distraught. He blinked his eyes repeatedly to ascertain which ones were dreams, and which ones were real.
"Sister?" Aldrich asked while looking at Emma.
"It's me." Emma nodded.
With still-shiny eyes, Aldrich circulated his gaze around. He was in the room he had used to shower yesterday.
Since when did I move here? As I recall... I fell asleep while watching cartoons in the backyard with my brother and the others.
Aldrich was holding his head which was suddenly dizzy. He dreamed of his mother very clearly. It seems to be a sign of something.
Do you want to remind me as soon as possible to find the whereabouts of father?
The dream felt like real. But I never called me so gently.
"Al!"
"Hm?" Aldrich tried to smile at the woman in front of him now. He even ignored it from earlier. "Sorry brother. I'm a little-"
"You're okay, right? You wanted to call your mother in a loud voice." Emma's worried expression could not be hidden anymore.
"Ah that... I'm doing fine. Just a little miss mom."
Aldrich who also did not know why he could delirious can only give a logical reason.
"It's okay, Al. Your mother is happy in heaven." Emma rubbed Aldrich's head gently.
"Yes!"
You are right, brother. But I'm afraid I can't carry out my mother's last wish.
Aldrich squeezed his hand in annoyance.
Emma who saw that thought differently.
Does he miss his mother so much? To hold his hand in fear. Duh, what should I do to please her?
What do 10-year-olds like? A toy? Or swimming in a pool?
"Al, today's sister. Where are we supposed to play?"
"Library." Aldrich replied quickly. "Library at brother hehe's house."
"Huh? A library?" Emma looked at Aldrich and asked. "Seriously library?"
"Yes, brother." Once again an innocent smile from Aldrich made Emma lose.
"Okay, we're going to read a lot of books in the library. Wait, I'll have Ron make you a snack."
Aldrich had not had time to answer, Emma had already run her doormat out of the room.
Shit, why did I fall asleep? I plan to go to the library early in the morning. So that you can read it fully. Stupid aldrich!
◌
"Sister."
"Yes? Why Al?" Emma asked without glancing at Aldrich.
"If you are busy. No need to take time to accompany me. You can go to the office."
Emma finally took her eyes off the laptop screen and looked at Aldrich. "Just because I have you, my job feels lighter."
With such an answer Aldrich could not reply. He just smiled while nodding.
Am I a cheerleader team that can encourage him to work?
Emma returned to typing, and occasionally looked at the contents of the document one by one.
Aldrich, who saw Emma getting busy and starting to ignore her whereabouts, felt it was time to look for a book about the CEO yesterday.
"Find another book ah." Aldrich said as he stood up. As she expected, Emma was unconscious, she was still looking at documents and laptops alternately.
Okay sip! Check around first.
Aldrich is back. There did not see the figure of Ron or other housekeepers. While Wayne, was asked by Emma to take some documents left in the office.
Be safe!
Aldrich leads to the bookshelf of the business section. There he found the book he had read yesterday. Without further ado the curious Aldrich immediately searched for the page he had last read. He was sure when he saw the word CEO and the name of a family that was quite influential.
"Son Aldrich?"
"Yeah!!!"
Aldrich was again surprised by Ron who suddenly appeared. This time the middle-aged man appeared behind Aldrich.
"What are you doing?"
"Oh this just fixed a broken book. The old books are easy to come off, so grandfather sewed them. Aldrich's own son, why are you in this section?"
Aldrich was silent for a moment looking for an excuse. He had already been caught off guard before, and the same reason was unlikely to work again right?
"eeee... That's cake..." Aldrich scratched his head in frustration. What is the function of the smart brain? Making excuses like this is hard. "That's, I'm looking for grandpa."
"Eh? Searching for?"
"Yes." Yeah." Aldrich nodded steadily. "I want to ask, is there a book about kangaroos? I've been looking for him but I haven't met him. When looking for grandfather, I was curious about the books on this shelf, so look around for a moment."
Ron glanced at the book Aldrich had brought. It turned out to be the book Ron found yesterday with the whale book.
It doesn't seem like a coincidence. This kid wants to read the book. Butwhy? Does he understand?
"so yeah. Grandpa will find. Read that book first." Ron's proposal while pointing at the book Aldrich brought.
"All right cake."
I didn't think I was allowed to read this book hehe.
Overjoyed, Aldrich walked back to Emma. Inadvertently his eyes caught a name he had read in one of Emma's files.
Hamilton Family.
That's the family name written on this book, too. Can I ask you a question?
"Sister. What's Hamilton's family?"
Emma turned towards Aldrich, then frowned. "Where do you know it's Al?"
"That's it, it's there." Aldrich pretends to be innocent while pointing at Emma's documents.
"Look here apparently." Emma nodded. "So the Hamilton family..."
Directly told?!
