As planned last night, today Ayana will go to Mr. Parman's house. Ayana cleaned the house and cooked according to Toyib's request bang, which is cooking chicken soto. Dimas had just returned from the outside when all of Ayana's work was done. Toyib left fifteen minutes ago.
"Yes!"call Dimas from the living room.
"Yes, brother," said Ayana who soon emerged from the dining room.
"Ay, here!"call Dimas while patting the seat next to him.
"What's up, brother?"ask Ayana curiously.
Dimas pulled out a box from a plastic bag he had just brought home.
"Here, I bought you a cell phone. Not too good indeed. But we can make our means of communication. Tomorrow afternoon if you want to go home, I'll call you. We go home together. Because I'm still selling around tomorrow to the village of Pak Parman," Dimas said as he opened the cellphone box and then took the phone out of the box and thrust it to Ayana.
"Sorry, brother! I can't accept this, brother. You don't have to buy me any cell phones. Brother lend me money to pay for school and let me stay here, I'm already very happy and grateful. Brother does not need to buy me a phone like this," said Ayana is not happy.
"Don't refuse it, Ay. Schools also need cellphones to do tasks and also many other purposes related to schools that need mobile phones," said Dimas who is indeed true. Still giving the phone to Ayana.
"But, sister. this must have reduced your savings a lot," said Ayana was not happy.
Ayana did not expect that Dimas would buy himself a new mobile phone. Although the price may only be around three to four million, but that much money must be very valuable for Dimas who works as a traveling merchant.
"No, kok. It's not too expensive. As long as you study well, I will not feel in vain to buy you this phone. I even feel sad if you don't want to accept my not-so-expensive gift. So please accept, yes!"pinta Dimas expectantly, still giving the new phone to Ayana.
"All right, I'll take it. I will study hard and hard. I won't disappoint sister" Ayana said enthusiastically. Finally received a phone giving Dimas after considering several things.
"Don't be too forced either. But try your best" Dimas said then ruffled Ayana's hair, "I've saved my number and Toyib's number on your phone. Yes, let's get ready to go!"bring Dimas.
"Yes,"sahut Ayana pleased.
Dimas and Ayana change clothes, lock the windows and back doors and get ready to leave. Once all was ready, they came out of the house and locked the main door.
"Eh, Dimas boy! You want to go, huh? This is what he said to be Nak Dimas' sister, huh?"ask a mother.
"Yes, Ma'am,"Shut up a short Dimas.
"Shirt with masks?"ask the mothers again.
"My sister's allergic to dust, ma'am," Dimas said.
As Dimas wished, Ayana came out wearing a mask that covered her face, hat, jacket and trousers. Only Ayana's eyes are visible. Possessive? No, just think of it as protective. What is the difference between possessive and protective?
The main difference between Protective and Possessive is how one shows it. A person who is protective will not hinder or limit what his partner likes, but always try to keep protecting his partner. While a possessive person will limit all the activities of his partner with a variety of reasons.
"Eh, Dimas boy! It's his sister that Mak Er talked about, huh? How come you never get out of the house?"ask the other mothers.
"My sister doesn't really like going out, Mom," said Dimas.
"Dimas Shelf! Go to work, huh?"asking a girl looks coquettish makes Ayana upset.
"Dim, his sister, huh? How to wear a mask? Another flu, huh?"ask a man.
The questions continued along the way as they came out of the village, until they finally approached the village gate. Ayana seemed hesitant to continue walking, as she began to get close to the village gate where she was surrounded by street thugs. Dimas who realized something was wrong with Ayana was embracing Ayana with his left hand. Because on Dimas' right shoulder was a big bag containing his merchandise.
"It's okay. There I am," said Dimas soothingly. Ayana raised her head to look into Dimas' shady eyes then nodded slowly.
The two walked out of the village gate and waited for public transport. When riding public transportation, Dimas was seen guarding Ayana from the men who were on public transportation. Ayana felt very amazed by Dimas' attitude.
After half an hour of public transportation, Dimas and Ayana finally arrived at the gate of Pak Parman village. Both of them walked into the village. Stop by for a while at a stall, then continue their footsteps until they arrive at a crossroads.
"I'm going to go around and move to the left. You're all right, aren't you, Mr Parman's house alone?"ask Dimas.
"Yes, brother. It's okay, it's okay!"sahut Ayana's.
"Yes already. I went there first, yeah! Tomorrow afternoon I am here to make a trade and to pick you up" Dimas said.
"Yes, sis,"sahut Ayana obeyed.
The two eventually split up at a crossroads. Dimas to the left and Ayana to the right. Ayana moved her legs cheerfully. It has been almost two weeks Ayana has not met with Mr. Parman family. After a few minutes of stepping foot, Ayana finally arrived in front of Mr. Parman's house. Ayana opened her mask and hat and then stepped into the yard of Mr. Parman's house.
"Assalamu'alaikum mother! Wulan! I'm home!"ayana said as often spoken by Mr. Parman.
"Wa'alaikumus salam,"heard a sahutan voice from inside the house. And soon after Wulan was out in the follow-up by Bu Lastri.
"Dad! You finally came home!"wulan hugged Ayana.
"Finally the daughter of the other mother came home too," said Bu Lastri to hug Ayana.
"Come, comein!"invite Bu Lastri to embrace Ayana into the house.
"Mr is still working, huh?"ask Ayana.
"Yes. As usual, later in the afternoon the new father came home,"sahut Bu Lastri.
"Wulan, mother, this is what I bought bread and fried in front, there is also young coconut ice," Ayana said showing two plastic bags filled with bread, fried and young coconut ice that Dimas bought earlier.
While on the road earlier, Dimas invited Ayana to stop by a stall selling bread, fried foods, and young coconut ice. The word Dimas is not good if it comes not to bring souvenirs even if it is only a little and not expensive. Ayana felt that what Dimas said was true. Like Mr. Parman who always brings food when coming home from work. Although sometimes only boiled beans, but it is enough to make Bu Lastri, Wulan and Ayana feel happy. Simple but feels so precious.
"Why bother bringing souvenirs, anyway, Ay!"said Bu Lastri while reaching for the fried food that Ayana gave him.
"No bother, Mom," said Ayana.
"Alahh.. said it just don't bother, but it's eaten too," Wulan said to Bu Lastri.
"Yes, you're not eating, Lan," said Bu Lastri who was chewing her fried food.
"It could be, this mother,"celtuk Wulan. While Ayana just smiled, she had not felt this warmth for a long time.
"Father must be happy, if you know you're home" said Bu Lastri.
"I miss you too" said Ayana.
