Finally, the person who was waiting came. The granddaughter's big black motor entered the large courtyard of her house. Mateo breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Edzhar arrive home not alone, but with the young woman he so dearly cared for.
Mona who was standing next to Mateo was also grateful that Gilda had been found. The couple took turns, and Gilda walked first. Gilda was shocked after catching a sharp gaze from Mateo pointing at her.
“You from anywhere?” asked Mateo who had been sitting on the terrace chair since morning blind. He waited for the arrival of Gilda and Edzhar until now at eight in the morning. “Are you happy to see me dizzy from worry after knowing you ran away from my house?” The old man suddenly coughed until Mona gave him a handkerchief.
“Ma-forgive me, Grandpa.” The originally bowed Gilda slowly looked up. He saw Mateo who is still coughing. Gilda glanced at Edzhar who had just been standing next to her, replying, “I'm just disappointed in my husband. Therefore, I want to calm down for a moment.”
“What has my grandson done to you?”
Gilda suddenly remembers what happened in her room last night, before she ran away from Mateo's house. His cheeks heat up when remembering the touch and play of Edzhar's lips when they are in bed. “Ti-it's okay, Grandpa.” Gilda. “I've forgotten.”
“If there is a problem, tell me. I'll listen to you too.” Her hand folded the handkerchief and continued, “Although she is my granddaughter, I do not support her fully, especially if I know she hurt you.” Edzhar did not respond. The man only glanced at Gilda who was smiling slightly at the grandfather while nodding.
“Good, Grandpa,” reply Gilda still with a pretty framing smile on her face.
“You go to the room, clean up, and have breakfast soon.” Smiling faintly, Gilda stepped up to rinse her dirty body. “Remember, Son. Next time tell me your problem. In addition to promising your aunt, I have also considered you like my own grandson.”
“Thank you, Grandpa.” Gilda hugged Mateo and asked, “It's better for Grandpa to pay attention to Grandpa's health alone, than to bother me at the bakery. It was the only legacy venture from both of my parents that I wanted to develop myself, and I wanted Grandpa to pull back new hires there.”
Mateo chuckled softly. “Let them there, they also need work. Indirectly you helped them, son.” Gilda's breath was heard before the woman took off her hug on Mateo. “If you are bored at home, you can go to the store. Provided you do not stand for too long, especially until you forget about the meal.”
Gilda nodded in agreement. After that he really wanted to move from the front, but his hands were blocked. Mateo restrains him, and also Edzhar. “Your cheeks are both hurt. Did you two slap each other?” asked the old man full of questions. “My eyes still work well, so don't give me a stupid reason.”
Gilda suddenly stiffened. He did not dare to look at Mateo. Picking his silence, Gilda again stood before Mateo with her head lowered. While Edzhar who had not made a sound, began to open his mouth.
“My chip was hurt because of my own work, there was no connection with Gilda, Grandpa.” Mateo looked at him in disbelief. “I don't care if Grandpa is suspicious of me, which is clear I've spoken honestly. This is not a slap from Gilda.” Then it passed from there.
Mona who was shocked when she found out that Gilda's cheeks were reddened and a little swollen was remembering again. Last night he remembered Gilda wearing a mask. Not only that, his young master also came from work while wearing a mask. Obviously he knew that their cheeks were hurt not from a slap fight.
“Do you know something Mona?” mateo asked because Gilda was silent. “If you don't want a story, I'll find it, son,” Mateo told Gilda who was still down. “Clean-clean up and fill your stomach immediately. Have pity on my great-granddaughter, maybe she's starving already. Gilda rushed in after the break.
“I remember, Sir. Mrs Gilda did not catch the flu last night, Mr. Edzhar also went home wearing a mask. Didn't Mr Edzhar's wounds look pretty obvious last night, Mister?”
“So, they don't hit each other?” ask Mateo who started thinking.
“I don't think so, Mr.”
The silent Mateo suddenly recalled that yesterday Gilda had come home with a private driver who was specially assigned to escort Gilda wherever she went. “Call the driver who drove Gilda yesterday,” Mateo's orders are immediately obeyed Mona.
The woman then went into the house next to the mansion, where the Mateo workers were staying. Only Mona is the only worker who lives there, because the woman has become Mateo's confidant. He also walked with the driver who was not too old or young, and again stood beside Mateo.
“Yesterday I ordered you to drop off Gilda, didn't I?”
“True, Mr.”
“Then, after Mona came home first, did anything happen that harmed my grandson-in-law?” The man did not answer immediately. He seems hesitant, between telling everything to Mateo or hiding the truth as Gilda requests him. “Don't I pay you, and not Gilda? You should have followed my orders.”
“I'm sorry, Sir. I can't take good care of Miss Gilda. Please forgive me,” he said full of regrets. Even he reached rest in front of Mateo with a body that was still firm, but his head lowered deeply.
“Who did it?”
“Mrs Carla, Sir. Mrs Carla who slapped Gilda's mistress while we were at a dining booth inside a shopping mall.”
“WHAT? LADY CARLA?!” mona asked and immediately closed her mouth, as soon as she realized her mouth was slipping until she shouted out loud enough. Mateo and the driver were also shocked to hear his screams. “Sorry, Mr. ..” regrets Mona when she found out both of Mateo's shoulders were lifted.
While behind the door, Edzhar who eavesdropped was glaring wide listening to the explanation of Mateo's driver. “So, Carla could also hurt Gilda?” the inner man who was completely shocked by the behavior of his lover.
“Not just me, it turns out you also have the heart to slap Gilda.” Swinging his legs, Edzhar moved from there, and approached the second-floor connecting stairs.
“I won't let that cunning woman hurt Gilda. Just yesterday I was helped.” Mateo stared intently at the vast expanse of his courtyard. His fingers holding his knees seemed to harden, he tried to get up from the chair and Mona then helped him up. “Begging Lukas to my room, I need to talk to him.”
“Good, Sir,” replied Mona obediently.
Before entering the house, his gaze fell on the driver he was assigned to guard Gilda. “Come back, and I won't cut your pay for this, but, if you dare hide anything from me regarding Gilda again.
“Honest in working.” Once again the man thanked Mateo because the master still gave the opportunity for work. Mateo helped Mona to the room, because Luke as a subordinate and his assistant had not come. “Ask him to prepare the car first before going to my room.”
The two enter Mateo's room, and Mona helps the elderly man to sit on the sofa of the room. “Good, Sir. Excuse me,” Mona said as soon as the master had leaned on the sofa.
The man who was waiting came, before that the sound of knocking on the door in Mateo's room was heard until finally he was welcome to enter. Luke stood firmly in front of Mateo and asked, “Do you want to come out? Shouldn't you rest as the doctor said yesterday?”
“There is a task for you.” Lukas shriveled in confusion, but then nodded. “Go with Antonius, request CCTV footage when yesterday Gilda and Mona go to the resto inside the shopping mall.”
“Something wrong has happened?” luke's murmur that Mateo could hear.
“Former son-in-law here act with my favorite daughter-in-law.”
Luke looked surprised. He was too shocked to know that there were people who dared to disturb the peace of the Martinez family, especially those who were bullied were Mateo's favorite people. Luke can confirm that the man's salvation will not last long, because sooner or later Mateo will act.
“Antonius must know where it is. If you can't, call the mall, and you know what to do next.”
“If you may know, what happened to mistress Gilda, Mr.”
“You will know after seeing the CCTV there. Go,” replied Mateo. “Before that call Mona, and ask her to prepare medicine, I have not had time to drink because I am waiting for the arrival of my grandson.” After nodding obediently, Luke passed by and looked for Mona who was definitely in the kitchen.
While in the upstairs room, someone was sitting waiting for his wife who was bathing. The man did not stop staring at the closed door there with a hard to interpret look. Until the awaited appear from the dressing room connected to the bathroom.
“Is it true that your former slap was from Carla? Carla did it?”
Gilda, who was drying her hair with a towel, was forced to set her eyes on Edzhar. Hearing that seemingly incredulous question, Gilda chuckled amusedly. “You're still asking if this is true or not, Ed? You think I lied to make Grandpa hate Carla?”
Edzhar got up from the edge of the bed and approached Gilda who was standing in front of the dressing table. “Not that I mean.” He stood right behind Gilda who was still drying her hair with a towel. “Only ...,” his speech was suddenly stopped because it was continued by Gilda.
“Only do you believe that Carla could make this wound?” Gilda chuckles. “I have no problem getting this wound, the most important thing is that he did not touch the innocent child inside my stomach.” Gilda turned her body to face Edzhar. “Mandilah, after that we have breakfast.”
Edzhar who saw Gilda's sincere smile fell silent, until Gilda again faced the dressing glass. Instead of stepping away from there to clean up, his left hand just touched Gilda's stomach from behind. “Did you love that kid?”
“You want me to answer honestly?” Edzhar nodded as she rubbed Gilda's flat stomach covered in a knee-length shirt dress. “Since I know his presence.”
“Actually I don't love him too much.” Gilda, who had pulled her lips up slightly, suddenly stopped drying her hair. He looked at Edzhar from the makeup mirror. “Because she is in the womb of a woman I do not love,” continued Edzhar honestly.
“So, your warm behavior yesterday ..?”
“I did it because I thought of grandfather,” interrupted Edzhar who made Gilda grip tightly the towel in her hand.
Gilda forcibly removed Edzhar's hand which touched the belly of her queen. But his body was lifted. Gilda sat Edzhar on the table with the man's arm around her.
“Starting today, I will try to love you guys.”
After saying his unanimous determination, Edzhar kissed Gilda's lips and **********. The unprepared Gilda held on to the husband's shoulders. The sucking of Gilda's lower and upper lips alternated, long enough. Until Gilda could feel how warm their kiss was.
With a breath of breath, Edzhar fused their foreheads together. “This afternoon I started going to the troubled family villa. We're going on honeymoon there.” After that Edzhar briefly kissed Gilda's lips, and went into the bathroom.
“Is this a good start for us, Ed?” muttered Gilda whose heart was already racing in there. A smile rose on her beautiful face, with her hands stroking her thumping chest. However, his smile faded when he remembered Edzhar's words after they combined love.
“He will try to love us, but in his heart there is still Carla. Could Mama be able to cultivate this kind of feeling in your papa heart?”
Putting aside the question of his heart, Gilda finished her dress-up activities. He tidied his hair and wore a cold ointment that was able to fade his slap marks even though not in an instant. Apply the lips with a moisturizer, then he is ready to go down for breakfast.
At the dinner table Mona had prepared ginger milk for him. Gilda gladly accepted, and began to eat when Edzhar joined her. Both of them eat in peace.
However, Gilda who was curious about his departure later that afternoon with Edzhar also broke the silence. She asked, “Are we really going on honeymoon there, Ed?”
“Ya, working as well as honeymooning. What's up?”
“A-I'm not ready to do that with you all the time, Ed.”
“What's up? Are you not addicted to mine? Is the size not big until you are not satisfied?”
