"You can calm down first? I'll explain everything, Carla ...."

"My parents said you were married!" Edzhar didn't dare say it until Carla snapped, "ANSWER, ED! ARE YOU REALLY MARRIED?!"

The grandchildren of Martinez's extended family, who had been outside, suddenly turned to the meeting room and approached. They were all shocked by Carla's words. "That night was unintentional" Edzhar said. "The accident happened when we came home from the celebration party."

Carla again smiled cynically at Edzhar's confession. "Have it, admit you've been cheating behind my back all this time. Your pregnancy and marriage are proof."

"No! I never betrayed you. I never stopped loving you, Carla. You know for yourself how I've been, and I have nothing to do with Gilda but friends!"

"Then, I have to believe that your actions were unintentional?! Hmh!" Carla removed Edzhar's hand from her shoulder and leaned against the sofa while folding her hands together. "I'm not some stupid woman you can lie to! The proof is that you two are married! You're married, Ed! Marry!"

Edzhar, angry that Carla did not believe her, squeezed her hair. Bending his head down, and bowing his knees in front of Carla, the man replied, "That night. Gilda accidentally went into my room."
