Chapter 23 Dinner
Edzhar approached and immediately held Gilda's arm quite tight. Preparing to bring Gilda back into the room, but a loud enough sound that came from Gilda's stomach, was able to stop Edzhar's footsteps. The man who was about to drag his wife in was forced to embrace the waist.
Gilda who was embarrassed, but relieved it also showed her wide smile without fear of being scolded by Edzhar. “I'm really hungry, aren't I?” he asked with a wide, sinless smile. “There is no time left to change gown.”
“Only tonight we eat out. The next nights I won't take you back to the restaurant, and we'll eat in the room.”
Of course Gilda rejected Edzhar's decision which was very detrimental. For him out of the room is the best time to calm the heart as well as the mind. The pregnant woman shook her head violently and restrained Edzhar with herself who suddenly stopped her way.
“Alright, I'm changing clothes now. You wait a minute, Ed.”
“Slow, your stomach has rung. That's a sign that our child is already starving in there,” replied Edzhar much more ketus than before and increasingly accelerate his pace. Inevitably, Gilda also walked quickly to arrive at the restaurant that the man beside her was referring to.
“I promise, I only wore this mini dress last night, Ed.”
“I don't care, which obviously from tomorrow I won't take you out to dinner.” Gilda who wanted to refute was made silent by an additional remark from Edzhar, “Aren't you my wife? You shouldn't have disobeyed my orders, Gil.”
After they had a light fight, their feet took them to the restaurant nuanced by the sea. Gilda who was amazed by the view of the restaurant closed her mouth and glanced at Edzhar. While the man who glimpsed continued to invite him more into the restaurant.
You can see the unique view of the restaurant. A circular aquarium surrounds each table and a pair of chairs. It was as if fencing off couples who were enjoying a romantic dinner.
The height of the aquarium is only half a meter, which is on average only knee-high. A variety of fish are in this unique aquarium. Until Gilda was confused because Edzhar actually did not invite her to eat at one of the empty tables.
“Ed, why don't we eat at one of the tables over there? Where do you want us to eat?” gilda whispered. However, Edzhar did not give an answer. Until suddenly he arrived at a door next to which there was already a receptionist and welcomed them.
“Mari, Mister, Madam ..” invite the friendly girl who smiles at Gilda and Edzhar and immediately lead the couple to enter. After the door was opened, Gilda was further stunned by the more beautiful and unbeatable sight for her.
“How? Is this view better than when you were riding the canoe?”
Gilda quickly agreed. “Ki-we have dinner here, Ed?”
Not yet Edzhar answered, the recipient invited Edzhar and Gilda to sit on a dining chair close to the giant aquarium. Gilda who was still amazed by the view like the open ocean looked up and looked to her left. Up close, he could see butterfly fish or butterfly fish, blue tang fish, mandarin fish, and many other fish charming.
Edzhar helped Gilda sit down after the girl accompanying them had left. “Stop staring at them. Our food will be coming soon.”
“Why can't it? It's beautiful, Ed ..” shrewd Gilda before extending her hand to Edzhar. “Which is my phone, I want a selfie.” Edzhar shook her head, giving it.
Gilda enshrined herself with the fish in the giant container with a happy smile. Until Edzhar who glanced at him also smiled unconsciously. Until the man voiced, “Why don't we just take a photo together? You don't want a selfie with me?”
“You want to?”
Edzhar nodded and patted his thigh. “Ke come, sit here.” Gilda suddenly glared and glanced to the right, then looked back and immediately shook her head. “What's up? You don't want to sit on my thigh?”
“Isn't it disrespectful? They all eat quietly, Ed.”
“It's okay, they don't care about us. After all, what we do is normal. You're my wife, Gil.”
“Good, Mr.”
From tightly hugging Gilda's waist, and then asking Gilda to look at each other with him, until Edzhar poked her best friend's lips, all of them managed to get into the camera of Gilda's phone. Gilda who was not ready to accept the latter style also felt her heart was not safe.
“Good to enjoy your dinner, Mr, Mrs.”
Gilda hurriedly moved to her chair and immediately calmed her thumping chest by grabbing a glass of mineral water. “Let's eat, isn't your stomach very hungry?” Gilda nodded and put down her glass. Edzhar and Gilda started eating appetizers first.
Gilda who was about to take her drink, was surprised by Edzhar who first took the glass for her. “Thank you, Ed.” Not only that, Gilda again surprised with Edzhar who will feed lobster meat to him, the second menu at their dinner. “Why did you bribe me?”
“Is it wrong?”
“No, Ed, but .. I can eat by myself.”
“Starting tonight I will treat you like my woman,” said Edzhar who again thrust a spoonful of soft and savory meat on the wife. “Eat.” Gilda ate by looking at Edzhar who was focused on bribing her.
The dinner was enjoyed by Gilda with an erratic feeling. On the one hand he was eager to let his love blossom, but his brain always signaled that happiness would not last forever and would give him deep sadness. However, Gilda suddenly remembered the night in which they spent time in her parents' old house.
Gilda who was about to ask opened her mouth. “Ed ...,” shrew Gilda who was cut off just like that due to Edzhar's request.
“Send me that photo, Gil.”
Gilda agreed, without further ado, to carry it out. At the same time, he received another delivery from Antony. The man sent a picture of Kendrick and Carla hugging each other next to a car parked in a shopping mall parking area. Antonius explained that the photo was taken after the two got out of the car.
Gilda has an idea, she no longer wants to delay the way Janez suggested. He glanced at Edzhar for a moment and immediately sent out all the evidence he got from Antonius. One second there was no response, two seconds Gilda who was nervous, three seconds later Gilda lowered her head. Until the fifth second, Gilda squeezed her dress.
“I wanted to ask, Ed.. didn't you know that Carla was playing behind you? But why do you get angry when I ask how do you feel if Carla doesn't love you completely?”
Instead of answering, Edzhar asked, “Why did you send me their photos?”
“You know Carla's cheating on you, but you still want to date her, Ed? You love dying to Carla?”
“Who is dating? Didn't I tell you that right now I'm going to focus on you and our child-to-be? You still unclear?”
“I know you love her so much, but stop loving women who just want to take something from you, Ed.”
“I warned you not to interfere with my relationship with Carla. Why are you doing the recon? You did it for me, didn't you?” Edzhar shook her head and stressed once again, she said, “There is no need to go that far to get me to let go of Carla, Gil.”
“Why did you say that? I care about you because we were once best friends, and I want the best for you.” Gilda who was indeed more sensitive had shown her condensing neutrality. “At least if we're not a match, I want you to love the person you deserve to love. The one who deserves your heart's sincerity, and the one who deserves to be with you in times of joy or hardship, Ed.”
Edzhar who listened to every word from Gilda's mouth was unable to issue a reply. The man looked at Gilda who had lowered her head. Looking around, Edzhar sighed. Although the rest of the restaurant visitors are busy themselves, he still feels uncomfortable.
“Where do you want us to go after this?” When Gilda looked up and wanted to answer, Edzhar continued, “Don't say you want to go back to the room. I don't want you to pretend to sleep and secretly cry. So tell me, where do you want to go?”
