On the bus Ron still felt that someone was watching them. But since Miss Ming told him not to worry, he tried to rilex a little and enjoy this trip.
Not too much information is known about the city of J. Rubber producing city located on the border, there are many pine forests and is not a famous tourist destination. Not many tourists do not come to this place because people prefer to go to the city of Y which has a beach or city H which has beautiful scenery.
Ron thought he would accompany Ms. Ming to Paris or Italy for shopping. When he found out that Miss Ming had bought a ticket to the city of J, he was quite surprised, as he remembered, there was indeed a famous shaolin temple, but as long as Miss Ming was not a religious person. Moreover, there is no transportation that can deliver there except on foot.
But all his prejudices were answered when the bus stopped at a stop under the hill and Miss Ming got off there.
Next to the stop was a walkway that was perhaps only half a meter wide, filled with bushes that were as high as an eye and rarely seen. Then there was a sign pointing towards the top of the hill with a tuisan that read: Tian Ji Temple, 5 Km.
“Nona.. how about stopping by the store for a while.” Ron pointed at a small grocery store that was across the street. He intends to buy some bottles of drinking water and food for the trip. But the main goal is to find a climbing stick or tool that can be used to facilitate the climb.
Of course the tool was not for him to use himself, he was used to going up and down mountains with his bare hands, but it was different for Miss Ming. What Ron knew from the results of his observations so far, miss Ming was a person who rarely exercised. Walking for two kilometers might drain his energy. Not that Ron objected to having to carry him in the middle of the road later, he was just afraid of losing his job. He still remembered the jealous face of young master Lu as he drove them to the airport.
Ming Yue's eyes stared at Ron's body which was filled with muscles, he looked fit and full of energy. Ming Yue did not expect that she would need climbing aids. But considering if everyone has advantages and disadvantages he admired and agreed to stop by the grocery store first.
The dont judge book by its cover. Seeing the path that was filled with the bush, Ron thought they would climb the rugged terrain and difficult to pass. But who would have thought after walking for about three hundred meters, the bush was thinning and the ground floor began to look. Five minutes later, in front of them was a stone staircase which on the right and left sides was equipped with a guardrail to facilitate the journey to the temple.
Ming Yue was not so surprised by the 180-degree change.
But Ron felt like he was hit by a batman trap. The rensel, which was filled with climbing equipment, turned out to be completely useless. He looked at the road in front of him with a slight cobble. He glanced at the rensel on his back with a feeling between affection and resentment.
Especially later after he read the stone inscription in front of the temple. Ron will feel if he needs ice water to flush his head so that his emotions subside. And of course his wish was fulfilled by the monk there.
Seeing the look on Ron's face, he thought he should have told him. “Ehem, I want to drink.” Ming Yue said. He asked Ron for water with the intention of wanting to tell him if his supplies were not in vain. But who would have thought if his good intentions even make Ron's mood drop. “If it rains maybe the climbing stick will come in handy.” Ming Yue tried again.
An hour later they arrived at the temple.
Ron was right, Ming Yue did not come to worship. He came here for another purpose.
If the guess is true, the world has ninety percent in common with the world in his old life and he wants to make sure something.
Ming Yue did not enter the temple but she asked something to the monk who was sweeping in the courtyard and the monk went somewhere behind the temple. Ming Yue followed his directions and he found a small building separate from the temple. Perhaps the building was used as a residence for monks.
When he set foot in the courtyard, the door of the building opened. As if he knew his arrival. Ming Yue told Ron to wait outside while he entered by himself.
Inside, a very old mute wearing an orange monk outfit, sat cross-legged while twisting the prayer beads in his hands. The monk was busy reciting the sutra reading.
As Ming Yue reached in front of him the monk stopped his reading. “Amithaba. Buddha always bless benefactor.” He gave his regards to Ming Yue. Ming Yue raised her eyebrows. It was like what was in his memory. The monk before him had the same face and even voice as the monk he had met in his former life.
If the resemblance could have been a coincidence, the monk's next sentence convinced him that it was no coincidence. “Budha has brought you back. In this life may the benefactor find happiness.”
It was one week before he went to Hawaii and had a plane crash. Ming Yue helps a monk who was a hit-and-run victim. Actually Ming Yue only intended to take him to the hospital, but his father who embraced Buddhism considered that the incident was a sign that he would get good karma, told him to take care of the monk and take him home.
Luckily the monk was not seriously injured and only needed to stay in the hospital for two days. Ming Yue certainly did not take care of him personally, she hired the services of a nurse. He and the monk met in person when he drove her home. At that time the monk told him that he was not from this world and would soon return to his home world.
Ming Yue certainly did not believe and assumed the monk was talking nonsense and responded by saying if he was an alien from the planet Pluto.
Ming Yue Yang still did not believe asking. “Who am I? Which world is real?”
