STEP AWAY! THE ANTAGONIST WANTS TO ESCAPE
The Extra 3

Six years passed quickly. Lu Ming was now first grade Junior High, but he had never forgotten his bright moon for a single day. Lu Ming knew where Ming Yue had been all this time but every time he wanted to meet her, he was afraid that Ming Yue would run away again. During these six years he could only watch her from a distance secretly like a stalker.

"Uncle Bo stopped at the usual place." Lu Ming said as soon as he got into the car. The usual place he meant was certainly the Ming Yue school which was five kilo meters away from his school, but for Lu Ming the distance was not a problem as long as he could see the bright moon, even if only for a moment.

For six years he knew what made him not forget the girl. Why was it that every time he tried to forget her, his memory became clearer. Lu Ming had already done various ways and made up excuses to stop seeing her but like defecating, inevitably he still had to take her out as well.

Eventually Lu Ming could only give up and follow the will of his heart, every day after school he would drop by a place where he could see Ming Yue. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Lu Ming came home early, he would wait for the girl across the street in front of the girl's school. Every wednesday and Friday the school turn of Ming Yue who came home early, Lu Ming would go to the park in the girl's residential complex where Ming Yue always spent his time after school.

Saturday and Sunday he had to refrain from banging on the door of the girl's house and dragging her out so she could see him.

Then every school holiday came those were days he never expected.

"Little master, we've stopped too long." Uncle Bo said as he looked back and looked at Lu Ming who was staring out the window. Uncle Bo followed the direction of his view which was always the same, the gate of the school building across the street.

"A little while." Lu Ming said softly. He observed everyone who came out of the gate but he did not also see what he wanted to see. His heart grew increasingly worried and turned into panic. He still remembered that day, he also waited like this and the bright moon never came.

"Come on." Lu Ming muttered. But until the gate closed and no more children with school uniforms were seen around it. Lu Ming clenched his hands until his fingernails stuck into the skin of his palms.

The day he feared happened again.

"Little master, maybe he's home. How about we go to the park, "uncle Bo said carefully. Maybe he didn't understand a child's thinking, but he could understand it after six years he witnessed it.

Lu Ming nodded and followed Uncle Bo's advice.

Lu Ming immediately jumped down from the car as soon as Uncle Bo stepped on the brakes and ran inside the park. He circulated his gaze at every corner he passed until he finally reached under a large tree not far from the lotus pond finally Lu Ming saw the figure he wanted to see.

"Bright..." He was finally able to breathe. She wanted to go to him and ask him why he came home early today. Is he sick?

As the thought flashed through his head, Lu Ming again panicked and his foot stepped itself closer to the edge of the pond. But he stopped when they were only a few steps away because at that moment Ming Yue turned her head and their eyes met each other.

It was the first time in six years.

Lu Ming's heart pounded between panic, delight and fear. For a while they stared at each other until Ming Yue shifted her gaze first then left without saying anything to him.

Lu Ming was still fixated in place until Ming Yue's back was no longer visible. Only then did he realize, the girl did not recognize him.

But what made Lu Ming's chest tight was not that. He saw a clear liquid pooling at the corner of the girl's eyes, did he just cry? Wh why? Who made him unhappy?

Various kinds of questions: what, who, why and how kept popping in his head until his daydream was again scattered by the voice of Pan Bo who called him to tell him if it was late and they had to go home.

Lu Ming stepped in with a shammer like his soul had already disappeared.

"Uncle Bo, why is it so sick?" Lu Ming bent his knees in the back seat and cried out in unison with his head buried between his knees.
