Chapter 3-Alya Lives Together with the Dimas Family

A month later......

After Ivan's office came to his friend's house to pick up Alya and bring her home.

As soon as he reached his house, it also happened that Dimas had just arrived looking surprised by the girl who was beside his papa.

"Who is he, Pa?" asked Tria who was working on her college assignments in her living room.

"He's Alya" replied Ivan.

"Would he come?" ask Tria not to like it.

"He'll be staying in this house for a few days" replied Ivan.

"Why not wrong?" Dimas this time asked. "He lives here, does he have a home?" continued.

"For while he's staying here, his house will be sold" Ivan explained.

"Our house is like a shelter" Tria grumbled.

"Did he not have a brother? Why do we have to hitchhike in our house anyway, Pa?" ask Dimas.

"Dimits...."

"Uncle, I promise tomorrow I'll get out of here and look for small boarding," Alya cut off the conversation.

"No Alya, you stay here for a few days. Uncle will find and buy a house for you" said Ivan.

"Wow, Papa will buy her a house. Very good, is it not-don't this girl has a special relationship with Papa," Dimas accused.

Ivan slapped his son's cheek.

Making Alya and Tria surprised as well as Dimas who was holding her cheek.

"Take care of your words, Dimas!" Ivan pointed his index finger in front of his son.

"Papa slapped Kak Dimas just for the sake of a poor girl like her!" Tria was upset.

"If it wasn't for both of his parents, you wouldn't be living like this!" Ivan emphasized his words.

Alya looked shaky.

"Alya will stay here, don't you ever tease her!" then Ivan's threat passed.

Dimas hardened his jaw, staring intently at the girl before him.

"We won't let you live quietly here" Tria said cynically.

Dimas rushed to his room.

-

At night, at dinner.

The whole family had gathered only Dimas who had yet to show the trunk of his nose.

Shortly afterwards the young man appears but when he sees Alya he chooses to return to his room to retrieve the car keys.

Ivan realized his son was about to leave, then asked, "Where are you going?"

"I want to eat out, Pa."

"Why not eat at home?" ask Ivan again.

"Sir Dimas would not eat if he was here" Tria said.

"Tria's answer is enough, isn't it, Pa." Dimas said as he glanced at Alya.

"Dimas, Papa won't let you out of the house!" said Ivan.

Dimas didn't care what his father said he chose to leave.

Ivan breathed his breath.

"Let him just be, Pa." The rose calms her husband. "Please continue eating!" he turned his eyes to Alya.

The girl nodded slowly, entering the food into her mouth with a sad face.

-

At 12 p.m., Dimas had just returned home. The man entered the house with a slightly bruised face.

Alya who had not fallen asleep went to the kitchen to fetch a glass of water but in the middle of the road she saw Dimas by holding his bloody lips.

Alya asked, "Why Mas Dimas' face?"

"It's none of your business!" resounding.

"What if I treat?" Alya offered herself.

"Not to be so good!" the hardic.

"Sorry, Mas. But the wound must be treated," said Alya.

"If you leave here, this wound will also heal!"

"I'm sorry, Mom."

Dimas chose to leave Alya who was still sculpting.

Alya stepped into her room, sat down by the side of the bed and came back crying. "Why is my life like this? Why are they so cruel and mean to me?"

The next morning, when breakfast Ivan noticed his son's lips bruised.

"What time did you come home last night?" tanyakanya.

"Darling, why are you? Papa'll ask me nicely," Rose said softly.

"I have breakfast at the office," Dimas regained his chair and walked away.

"It's all because of the girl that Papa brought," Tria accused.

"What mistakes did he make?" ask Ivan.

"Sir Dimas did not want this woman at home because he did not want Papa to match her," explained Tria.

"The more he does, Papa will force Dimas to marry Alya" Ivan said.

"Papa can't force Kak Dimas to marry a poor girl like her!" Tria pointed at Alya's face.

"Tria!" sentak Ivan's. "Take care of your attitude!" enragedly.

"Keep defending him, I'll make him feel uncomfortable living in this house!" Tria left the dining table.

"Om, Auntie, I can't keep living here. Mas Dimas and Tria didn't like me" said Alya feeling guilty.

"They're just not used to it, you don't get discouraged" said Roses.

Alya just agreed when in her heart she hoped to marry Dimas. If marriage happens, then he can live with his in-laws who are friends of his father.

-

Dimas spent his breakfast with a friend named Hans.

"Tumben once you take me to breakfast" he said.

"I'm back" said Dimas.

"Women's problem?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why again? Did Clara ask you to turn it back?"

"I want him to take me back, but this is another person" Dimas replied.

"Who is the woman who dares to make you a snitch?"

"She's the daughter of my papa friend."

"Is she not beautiful?"

"That's not the problem."

"Then what?"

"I'll be betrothed to him."

Hans laughed at hearing that.

"I guess you'll laugh at me."

"If she's beautiful and kind, why don't you just accept the match!"

"I don't like it, Hans."

"Then I'll marry her if she's beautiful."

Dimas stared intently at his best friend.

"Hey, you said you didn't want to be paired with him. Why don't you like that?"

"You want me to hate you too?"

Hans smiled smirkingly, "But why don't you like it?"

"Because Papa put the girl's interests first more than me and my sister, moreover, my mother also participated in defending and loving her!"

"Where are his parents?"

"Had died."

"Innalilahi wa innailaihi rojiun, does that mean he's an orphan?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Hans scooped his face, then tapped on the table with his index finger. "You must marry her!"

"Well, why marry her?" Dimas scrunched his forehead.

"He doesn't have any parents anymore, you have to help him."

"Why should I?"

"You want to get no reward, that girl's an orphan."

"What relation?"

"Loving orphans is a great reward, what is the harm if you marry him?"

"But I don't love him."

"Love is a later affair, everything will grow as time goes on. Especially if you always meet."

"You're like you've been in love!" quip Dimas.

"Hey, my ex-boyfriend is more than one," he said proudly.

"Yes, deh. The casanova is hard to match," Dimas sneered.

"For sure!"
