Chapter 42 - Attending the Azzam Wedding

Today is the wedding of her former sister-in-law Alya. Surely a couple of husband and wife have prepared to leave for the event.

Alya who was applying makeup on her face was visited by her little daughter, "Mama, I'm coming!"

"No, Son. Mama and Papa just briefly go there," explained Alya.

"I want to play with Nia and Dya" he whined.

"Other time we'll pick them up and play with them, son."

"Why can't we come, Ma?" Rayn suddenly appeared in the room.

"Journey there is quite far, Mama does not want you guys sleepy and fussy. There's a lot of show, and again, where's Mama gonna put you to bed?"

"At Om Azzam's house" replied Rayn.

"Everyone must be busy, next time we just play to their house" said Alya.

"Mama won't be long, will she?" ask Rayn.

Alya saw the clock had shown at 11am towards noon. "Before four o'clock Mama and Papa are also home."

"Later in the afternoon we will take a walk, yes!" pinta Elise.

"Tell Papa, does he have time to take us for a walk or not?"

Elisa and Rayn run out of the room looking for Dimas' whereabouts.

"Father!" Elisha shouted to Dimas who was feeding his beloved fish.

"What's up, El?" tanya Dimas still focused on staring at the fish in the aquarium.

"Later in the afternoon we will take a walk, yes!"

"Yes, if it doesn't rain" Dimas replied.

"Horay!" girang shouted.

"Have your mom finished dressing up?" ask Dimas.

"Still in front of the glass" answered Elisha.

"Geez, why did she dress up so long?" Dimas grumbling.

"Mas, I'm ready. Let's go!" Alya came to her husband.

"That's Mama!" rayn.

"Yes, let's go!" dimas.

"You're at home with Bi Tika and Nek Lan" Alya said. "Don't forget to take a nap and Rayn you have to have lunch, Mama doesn't want to hear that you're lazy to eat!" his advice.

Rayn.

"Mama, Papa, go first 'yes!" alya.

"Yes, Ma!" say the two in unison.

Alya walked to the front of her house, she waited for her husband on the porch.

"His lizard got in the car?" tanya Dimas approached her husband.

"No, Mas. How can I lift it!"

Dimas finally lifted the gift in the form of a set of cookware and put it in the back of the car.

The couple left for the Azzam residence.

On the way, Tria called Alya.

"Mas, Tria!" Alya turned to her husband who was driving.

"Javab!"

Alya agreed, pressing the green button, "Hello!"

"Hello, Mba."

"Yes, what's wrong, Tria?" alya asked softly.

"You guys at home?"

"No, we're outside."

"Where?" ask Tria.

"We're heading for Azzam's house again."

"You're going to go to Mas Azzam's wedding?"

"Yes," Alya replied hesitantly.

"Yes already, be careful on the road, brother. Greetings to Mas Azzam and his wife" said Tria.

Alya for a moment.

Tria hung up.

So did Alya, she turned to her husband, "Mas, please pinch me!"

"Well!"

"I want to make sure it's a dream or not" Alya said.

"Why are you, anyway?"

"Mas want to know if Tria talked to me?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"He said be careful on the road, send greetings to Azzam and his wife. It's "that's so weird!"

"Surpring, how? Kan, that's good."

"Yes, I'm glad Tria got up and realized all her mistakes."

"Then?"

"Hopefully it's not just temporary" Alya hoped.

The car Dimas was driving entered the road to Azzam's house.

"Have you ever been here?" ask Dimas for his wife.

"No, Mas. It's my first time to come here."

"I've been down this street, but where's Azzam's address, huh?"

"We just ask the people around here, Mas. Rather than stray," proposed Alya.

"May as well, ask!"

"Yes, Mum."

Dimas sidelined his car, Alya got off the car carrying an invitation. Yeah, he's gonna ask people.

Dimas waited for his wife in the car while watching the woman from the rearview mirror.

Not until 3 minutes, Alya back to the car. Then tell her husband, "Mas, said the resident here. The address of Azzam's house another hundred meters after that turn right. We'll see yellow."

Dimas restarted his car's engine, they continued on their way.

Within 10 minutes, he and his wife arrived at the event.

Dimas and Alya got out of the car.

"Is this true?" ask Dimas.

Alya looked at the flower board inscribed with the names Azzam and Annisa, "Yes, Mas."

Alya asked for help to the men standing near the reception desk to raise her card.

Alya filled out the invitation guest book, she then took her husband's hand to enter the wedding venue.

Nia ran over to Alya and Dimas and hugged the two adults in turn. "Where are Brother Rayn and Elisha?"

"They didn't come" Alya replied.

"I miss them, why don't you come?"

"Other time we will come back here" Alya replied again.

"Auntie, promise, right?"

"We will work" said Dimas.

Alya and Dimas stepped onto the buffet table, they enjoyed lunch before greeting Azzam and his wife.

After the meal, the two greeted Azzam's parents. After that, I greeted the two brides.

Dimas congratulated the newlyweds as well as Alya.

After taking a picture together, Alya and her husband say goodbye.

Dimas and his wife arrived home at 3 o'clock in 15 minutes. Rayn and Elisha greeted the two cheerfully.

Elisha asks to be carried by Dimas and the man complies with his daughter's request.

"Did Papa meet Nia and Dya?" ask Elisha.

"Yes, El."

"When will Papa take us there?"

"If Papa's not busy we'll go there or tell them to come here." Dimas dropped his daughter.

"Papa, Aunt Tria came here" said Elisha.

"When did he come?" ask Dimas.

"During Papa and Mama left, she came here" Rayn explained.

"Who's here with?" ask Alya.

"Alone, Ma." Answer Rayn.

"Tante Tria is beautiful, Ma." Celoteh Elisha.

"Tante Tria is indeed beautiful" said Alya.

"But, Aunt Tria this time is different, Ma." Rayn.

"meaning?" ask Dimas and Alya simultaneously.

"Tante wears a veil" said Rayn.

"You mean Aunt Tria wearing a hijab?" ask Alya.

Rayn and Elisha nodded.

Alya and her husband looked at each other.

"Mama, if you wear it so, it must be very beautiful" said Rayn.

Alya smiled, then kissed her son's forehead. "May you can, baby."

Dimas who heard that his sister had changed was happy.

"Now you go to the bath, we will take a walk to the park" said Alya.

"Great fun, go for a walk!" elisha and Rayn shouted, both of them running towards their nanny, asking the woman to bathe them.

"I think Rayn's advice is good, too."

Alya smiled, "Mas, allow me the hijab?"

"Surely."

"But I'm not ready yet, Mom."

"I'm not forcing you, but if your heart is ready it's better to hurry."

"Thank you, Mum!" Alya hugged her husband.
