"What was the reason that made you sue Mother Sabrina for defamation?” the Mediator, Mr. Yudi, asked Julius Sinaga. Mediation lasted twenty minutes.
Julius looked at Brina who was across from his desk. “She's already denouncing me, insulting me, and cursing me. Miss Sabrina also even berated my client who is also her client.” The lawyer in his thirties smiled mockingly at Brina.
Hearing that, Brina snorted amusedly and returned Julius' gaze sharply. The mediation was only carried out five minutes ago even though Brina had arrived in court half an hour ago. Julius Sinaga seemed to have deliberately arrived late and made him have to wait that long.
“I don't actually want to extend this issue, but since Miss Sabrina came to my office, and was looking for a fuss there, I couldn't stay put.” Julius.
“Isn't the company of my client's workplace already mediated with your side? Everything is done well, right? My client has apologized even he gave compensation to you.” said Andrew representing Brina.
Brina had previously discussed with Andrew and allowed Andrew to represent her. Brina is afraid that her emotions will not be controlled if she has to speak out against Julius, though she can still hold him back. It's just that he's lazy to argue with Julius.
“Indeed. It's just that I feel that Miss Sabrina's apology doesn't sound sincere. After all, Miss Sabrina didn't just berate me personally. Your client has chided my law firm.” Brina looked at Julius sharply. I can't believe Julius's statement. “Because this also concerns the institution, I cannot stay silent.”
“My client ti--”
“You misunderstood!” brina cut Andrew's words. His voice is quite high. He has to talk to himself. “I didn't say anything about your law firm. I'm just talking about your ethics and your unprofessional clients. The house under construction should not be sold as stated in our contract. You are suddenly selling my client's house without any talk first. You and this client of us both have violated the contract that has been set by my company!” brina was firm.
“I cannot prevent divorce of my client's household. Those who want to split up and those who want the house for sale. So why do my clients still have to maintain the house if they are divorced from her husband?” tymphal Julius.
Brina would reply to Julius' words but the Mediator immediately raised his hand, preventing Brina from speaking. “I think enough for this time. We'll continue later in the afternoon.”
Mr. Yudi closed the first mediation session and left the room first, leaving Brina and Lawyer Sinaga still throwing hateful gazes at each other.
"I read the gossip article. Is it true you have a special affinity with Evan Wilde?" ask Julius suddenly.
"Why are you asking that?" Brina grunting. He was already upset by the question especially Julius who asked it made Brina even more upset.
Julius laughed softly. "none. Just a curiosity. How can a Director invite his employees to dance without any intention, except the employee is like you, which is Sabrina Davinian, daughter of CEO Sandi Davinian.” Julius smiled sarcastically. “I think there is no way Evan Wilde would randomly choose a female employee to dance with unless he knew his employees.”
“I am a pretty brilliant employee and have good judgment in the eyes of clients. Surely it gives a good image for me and the company. As the new Director, Mr. Evan Wilde certainly must know employees in the company he leads, right? Especially exemplary and accomplished employees like me.” Brina.
He doesn't have to reveal his closeness to Evan because ‘blind date or matchmaking’ to others let alone to that damn lawyer. If people knew, they would definitely be concerned about linking her status as the daughter of the CEO of Saina Corp. Especially if they know about their proximity to Evan already ‘more’ than just matchmaking. People will go crazy.
Brina thinks her status as the daughter of CEO Saina Corp has been forgotten by working separately and not following in the footsteps of her father and brother as doctors. Any man close to her, they would have always seen her status as the youngest daughter of CEO Saina Corp and renowned neurologist Sandi Davinian. That's what happened to Brina a long time ago. Plus the other status as a princess who survived the robbery tragedy, adding the name Brina increasingly known to people.
Julius got up from his chair and walked over to Brina. He then stopped right across from Brina's desk with both hands hiding in her pocket haughtily. Julius looked down at Brina. “All that was just a misunderstanding, so?” Julius paused while observing Brina's expression that had a cold face. “Hmmm, but I heard from my acquaintance that he saw you with Mr. Evan Wilde at the Paradise Hotel a few weeks ago. Did my acquaintance see wrong, did?”
Brina's face hardened and was shocked at the same time. Somehow Julius was able to figure out where he was with Evan that night. He also could not guess how far Julius knew about the night.
"I'm sorry if it offends you." Julius grinned. "Maybe my friend saw it wrong or you guys just happened to be in the same place."
"I celebrated my birthday at the hotel. All my family are present." Brina followed Andrew. "That might answer your curiosity, Mr. Sinaga. Regarding the whereabouts of my boss at the hotel, I don't know. Maybe he has a need there."
"Ah. I see, yes." Julius giggled softly then lowered his head as if apologizing. "I'm sorry for all my suspicions. Please be advised, my work leaves me with a high sense of curiosity and suspicion."
"Very understandable." Brina gave her sharp gaze one last time. "See you later in the afternoon, Mr. Sinaga."
Julius simply raised his hand and Brina quickly walked away from the Mediation room. He hoped that another mediation meeting later in the afternoon would pay off and make Julius drop his charges.

He waited in agitation. Julius Sinaga does not seem to want to withdraw or even delay his demands. Moreover, after hearing the story from Andrew, Julius would do anything to make his opponent completely lose to him.
But this is not a match, is it? Why Julius so badly wants to see Brina lose and make him face this problem. Brina knew she was wrong to make a fuss at Julius' workplace and run him over, but come on, come on, the matter of Brina's character crashing down can be discussed in a good way if indeed Julius still does not accept the first time they try to solve the problem.
"It." A small candy was proffered to Brina. "I know you're nervous, but I'll try to help you and get Lawyer Sinaga to drop his charges."
"You worked so hard to help Miss Sabrina, Mr. Andrew" said Julius who suddenly appeared before Brina and Andrew.
"Sinaga sir." said Andrew slowly.
Behind Julius, two old men appeared. Brina frowned as she looked at the bespectacled man beside the Mediator. Mr. Randi, the company lawyer whom Evan advised to accompany him, suddenly appears here without Brina being asked.
"When can we start the second mediation, Mr Yudi?" asked Andrew as Mr. Yudi and Mr. Randi approached them.
Mr. Yudi smiled faintly and looked at Brina. "There is no need for mediation anymore. The court will immediately process the cancellation of the lawsuit from Mr. Julius Sinaga to Mr. Sabrina Davinian."
"What?!" Brina surprised. He looked at Julius. "What does this mean?!" ask Brina. He was confused by the current decision.
"You're not happy? I've dropped the charges, Miss Sabrina."
Brina grunting. "Yes, I mean. The second mediation hasn't even been done yet and you've suddenly withdrawn its demands."
"Your lawyer made me consider dropping the charges. I didn't know that Evan Wilde was a boss who paid great attention to his employees by sending company lawyers to solve their own employee problems" Julius said.
Julius' words made Brina even more confused. Brina did have time to discuss her case with Mr. Randi but he did not ask Mr. Randi to come to his aid during mediation. But at this time, suddenly Mr. Randi appeared before him.
"Let's just say I'm being kind and understand your attitude that comes crashing and berating me because your emotions can't be controlled." Julius continued.
Brina was offended to hear that. "You mean I have to thank you for being kind enough to understand me who has an abnormality-"
"Sinaga sir!" said Andrew, cutting Brina's words. Andrew immediately got a sharp glare gift from Brina. The man looked unperturbed with Brina's gaze and shook his head slowly, preventing Brina from speaking. "Sinaga sir! My lawyer as Miss Sabrina is very grateful to be considering withdrawing your charges."
Julius smiled broadly. "Mr Evan Wilde solved the problem of his employees neatly by sending Mr. Randi directly here. Evan Wilde is a good boss. From now on I will respect him a lot."
Julius' words inexplicably made Brina feel like an allusion to him. Julius did not even stop looking at Brina with a glance. The same look Julius showed when the man asked about his closeness to Evan.
Brina just kept quiet and then took a deep breath. He doesn't know how to act. He felt there was another deal that Evan offered Julius through Mr. Randi. Evan Wilde meddles in his personal affairs. Maybe people will see it as a form of company attention to its employees but for Brina not.
Suddenly Brina pulled a smile her lips formed a grinning smile. Evan sends a company lawyer directly to solve his problems, as if he wants to tell Brina that he can do everything. Evan is in charge of everything but should he behave arrogantly like this by directly solving the lawsuit problem given Lawyer Sinaga? Now Brina really owes Evan a favor.
“Thank you for your humility, Mr. Sinaga. I hope that in the future we can work together in a good situation.” Brina stretched out her hand to shake Julius' hand.
Julius repaid Brina's hand. “Not a problem. After all, I am also aware that I should not have filed a lawsuit against you.” Julius first took off his post and tidied up his suit buttons. “Good. Then, excuse me first.” he said then say goodbye to Mr. Yudi and Mr. Randi before finally leaving.
After Julius' departure, Brina turned to look at Mr. Randi. He wanted to ask for more explanation and what offer was given so that Julius would withdraw his demands.
“Pak Randi, may I have a minute? Much I want to ask.”
